Can you imagine being a guest at the hotel, and having some sort of ailment that you were seeking treatment for. And being as such, you would obviously be sick and possibly frail. Now you have to traverse ALL of those steps to reach the springs. And then back up to the hotel again. I certainly hope the treatment was successful.
Nice!! So much lively action going on, not to mention wood thrush/hermit thrush, cardinals singing in the background. The orange mineral stains remind me of your Bear Gap, Bear Valley videos. Nice Job!!
Hi Cliff, such a gorgeous place with the waterfall, spring and not forgetting the beautiful flowers, definitely a hidden gem. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx ❤
Beautiful out there, we love your videos, your videos got me off the couch and in the woods, I just spent the day on Thursday with my girlfriend exploring camp Michuax, keep up the great work thank you 👍
Only 30 minutes from there yet never been there to walk around. Will have to this summer. Edit: You'd probably enjoy Jennings Nature Reserve, some nice hiking trails. George Washington's trail right by it along with the "old stone house". That's up towards Slippery Rock in SW Pa.
hi Cliff i Needed a laugh n u provided it early quote 'of course I'm not really in my home area anymore' same At Times only when i really hiked n Hitched even n Scotland n loire Valley in France tks bud for bringing back Great Memories Sla'inte Brian Ireland paused video so won't miss any yep!
Our youngest daughter was born with a kidney issue and her doctor told us to get her water at this spring. We drove from Washington once a month to get her 10 gallons. This was back in 1980s. Did it help??? Who knows
What a beautiful hike ! Thank you for sharing this. I was wondering how someone who is ill enough to need the “ healing” powers of the Springs could hike clear up and down those steps.
The hike to the springs is really easy and quick! Promise! You can backtrack that trail instead of going up steps and down huge hill. Getting some magic water tomorrow after full moon 💕
Reminds me of the Glen Onoko Falls near Jim Thorpe. They closed the falls due to people getting hurt and there was 3 falls you can visit with ruins of a hotel with Stone steps from top to bottom. It's ashame people ruin it for others.
Wow nice water fall. I like to taste water from springs coming from different mountains after its filtered. Best tasting water hands down is the sprig above the Eckville shelter along AT. Comes right out from on giant boulders before going under the road in a big pipe. All springs have different mineral contents, giving it a different taste. The one at Cold Springs is good to. Ever going to do some over night trips on the AT???
We hike all the same spots!! We live in Pittsburgh! Raccoon is my fave to hang out at! So much to do there! 💕 those turkeys have been there at the campground for years! Love them! There’s a good trail at settlers cabin park on the way to raccoon in Robinson! Try friar bills trail sometime! Headed up to get some mineral water after the full moon tomorrow 😊
Thanks for the video.
Thanks you!
Thank you for showing Frankfort Mineral Springs. We are proud of that place.
This is a wonderful place. I enjoyed the flowers, the falls, springs... thanks for taking us to see this, Cliff.
There are purple weeds, and white weeds, and pink weeds, and,,,, 😀

Awesome site - always love areas with falls.

Orange you glad you made the hike ? 😁
Great flowers and cool area. Did you see any rhododendron or mountain laurel? Hope you had and great time.
They weren't blooming yet in this area.
I think some white trillium turn pink as they age. I've seen the same flowers fade white to pink in the woods.
great video but I would love to have seen the top of the falls. to see the waterfall from above. 😕

I love bleeding hearts 🥰
Man i would love just sitting with my feet in that stream.
Do you ever check back to see if your stuff has been picked up 🥰
Viewers are pretty good about sending a picture of their find.
They could have cross pollination too 💕
Been there a couple times actually made a couple videos myself
