When I was in college in the ‘80s, my friend and I walked a couple miles between Kutztown and Lyons, PA and we collected all the cans along the road. Ended up with a couple full garbage bags and we cashed in the alluminum for beer money. That was four decades ago
In Michigan we have a 10 cent can and bottle return. When I was younger, I used to walk and bike daily and I collected a lot of cans. Especially beer cans because people don’t want to get caught with an open bottle or can of liquor in their cars. Those old trucks were cool!
Wow...now that was a hike! A lot of interesting things along the way. Wonder where the people lived that owned the goats? That log house was my favorite I think. Hope you took a nice long nap when you got home. Safe travels as always ❤❤❤❤
Years ago we cleaned the ditches for cans and one fall day a couple pulled up and wanted to know if we wanted a frozen turkey. Well, the answer was hell yes. I think they thought we were poor and collecting for money. We did it to clean the Earth, Haha

The power lines look good. That grey sky looks like a boss.The sleeping trees can be seen. That one crow @ 40:35 has a good voice. Tough hike.
