    I've always thought pilots were reserved and not very talkative in terms of what they say. You opened some new doors, I love the funny comments along your flights. KEEP IT UP! SHOW PEOPLE THE REALITY! :D

    Thanks for the videos. I'm an LAA f/o transitioning to the bus currently from the 76. Heading out to phx next week for sims. These are helpful to cement the triggers and flows. Fly safe!

      AADFWspotters2 They were expecting 1L, since the SERFR1 departure calls for 1L, which is a shorter taxi than 1R, but with 1L being closed, 1R was their only option.

    AirbusPilotMark, Sure Thing! My ultimate goal is to work at the airlines just like you. My flight instructor flies the A319, A320, and the A321 for U.S Airways. He's an F/O just like you! I know there all the same airplane in terms of cockpit layout. The only difference is the pure size of the plane. Hopefully he can help me get a job at the airlines when the time comes. Maybe someday you and I will fly together 😄! Would love to fly the Airbus !

    Working my way up there! I've been flying the C-172 for around 2 years now. I have around 30 hours now. I'm only 14 so I have a little way to go until I can solo I wish I could fly the A321! I guess all pilots start in the C-172. I'll sure miss U.S Airways!

    Also, I have a question that is probably pretty stupid....but I've always wondered, with all of those knobs and switches everywhere, where do airplane manufacturers place the controls for the landing lights, beacons, navigation lights, etc? Are they all grouped into one basic location or are they pretty much everywhere? (If everywhere, then I'd just be curious where you turn on/off those super bright landing lights). Thanks!

    • @ProsperingX
      @ProsperingX 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Andy Smith Above the captain is the switches for the landing lights, and all the beacon , nav lights, and taxi lights are on the upper panel also!.

      Upper panel front right. Landing lights are above the landing gear handle almost located on the front panel more to the right.
