We get the Torino running with the new Trickflow 190 11R’s, FTI custom cam, and Steph’s oil pan. We also add an aluminum exhaust from Harm muffler. Let’s go!!
@@mikeymac9 Did you get the launch bog resolved? I'd be curious to see if a 750 carb would lower the ET and increase MPH. Either way you have it going pretty quick. It sounds great going through the gears!
@@mikeymac9 turnbuckles are cheap security. Far cheaper than a motor mount breaking, the engine lifting and causing serious damage. I learned that from Dyno Don Nicholson back in 1970.
It’s a custom cam from Ed Curtis at Flowtech induction. Lift with the 1.6 is just over .600. Duration at 50 is 227/235 if I remember correctly. LSA 111 intake is in a 108.
The beast. Love it.
Damn thing revs like a coyote!! Good lord!
your car sounds awesome!
Sounds badass
The phone doesn’t pick up the sound the best. You’ll hear it at the track. Too bad we aren’t open this weekend.
As the guy that lives next door to this beast, it is badass!!
@@wsmoon74 You can hear it over there? 😂
Man she is looking great!! Sounds so good
Next time I’m down at the Pines come by and check it out.
Sounds glorious, lovely work! :)
Oh my god that dude sounds wicked!!😎😎😎
Thanks man.
That is a beast !!! Spring is here brother 😄!!!
Enjoy....
Yes sir! Thanks!
You really seem to have your stuff together. A pleasure to watch. Looking forward to watching it at the track.
Thanks man! Track was too cold to open this weekend. Can’t wait to give it a rip soon.
Bing bang boom! Looks and sounds so good!
😂 Thanks man!
No scatter shield?
Exhaust turned out killer. How bad is the drone inside? Seems the aluminum has a totally different sound that a steel exhaust
It’s not bad at all. In 5th gear it cruises the highway at 2400 rpm’s and it’s pretty quiet. It’s stupid loud when I get into it tho lol
Chop Chop :) How much cam overlap?
9 degrees

@@anondusery1271 Thanks. I’m curious about a 750 also and will eventually test that too.
mikeymac, do you use retaining turnbuckles in case a motor mount breaks?
I’ve torn up some rubber on the motor mounts. Just put new mounts in so trying to save them.

@@mikeymac9 thanks man! Love the car
Nice Torino
Thanks man!
Nice job, any reason a mini starter wouldn't work on there?
My thought was to make it so I can get a starter anywhere if I need one like being on a drag and drive. Doing Midwest drags this year.
