We love our Venza. We live in a flat state (Florida). We get very good gas mileage because of that. I have consistently gotten 42 to 43 mpg combined. I only reset the mpg reading after a few months of driving to get a good overall reading. I love Jeff's sound effects and karate moves.
The 2024 Venza Limited is an excellent choice for power tilt- steering wheel, puddle lamps that say "Venza" at night, high mpg, memory seats, and a lot more cool features!!
Jeff, we were very close to buying a 2024 Venza 2 weeks ago. we wanted the LE model because it had cloth seats, lots of features, & was the best value model. The interior (on those that were black) were really depressingly dark & claustrophobic inside; we had to insist on the "gray" interior. Visibility out was not good. And the ultimate dealbreaker was: after the 2nd test drive, we realized that the seat bottoms are REALLY uncomfortable. Hard, and not in the right places. So, we removed it from our buying contention & bought something else. So: to those shopping in this segment, make sure you SIT in the car before you buy; drive it; & check out the comfort & visibility.
To each their own. The Venza limited seats in front were a big factor for me to chose Venza over Honda CR/V. They are fantastic. with 4-way lumbar for driver.
I’m curious why Toyota is discontinuing a very nice looking, practical, and gorgeous vehicle. We bought a 2023 Venza Limited, we love the vehicle, the ride is smooth, the interior and exterior look amazing. We’ve had it for 15 months and I still enjoy driving it as if it was the first day we got.
Just picked up a limited model, thing is sweet! If I had to guess it's because it's not flashy and has a Toyota badge. Maybe more people spending that type of money would rather go with an entry level luxury suv with less features but more impressive looks/badge?
Just gone mine 2024 Limited, including the famous stargaze moonroof. BTW, in Asia, called Toyota Harrier. For North America (US/Canada), is the only one of few(if not only one) which is purely made in and imported from Japan. The VIN number starts with “J”. I believe made in Takaoka plant, Toyota city, Aichi prefecture, near Nagoya. Even for Lexus, the ***stargaze*** panoramic moonroof is only available in Lexus RZ450e and Lexus GX550. Heard this spring 2024 will be the last production of Toyota Venza for North American market before replaced by Toyota Crown Signia for 2025. (Called Toyota Crown Estate in Japan). I believe the production for Toyota Harrier (Venza) itself will still continue for 2025 and beyond but only for Japanese and other selected few Asian market, which was among main reasons for me to get it this year. Toyota Harrier is considered premium luxury in Asia. In fact, the older model of Lexus SUV was actually based first generation of Toyota Harrier in Asia. In a nutshell, I would say the Toyota Venza (Harrier) *** Limited *** is the version of Lexus NX 350h with regular gas instead of premium. Besides the price of Venza Limited (including Stargaze panoramic moonroof) already includes most of the features in Lexus Ultra Luxury/Executive package (additional $$$ option in Lexus on top of the base price). Overall, it ticks all the boxes except the dislike for having the rear turning signals in the bumper. See the the Japanese videos of Toyota Harriers below. th-cam.com/video/zh4cl_zweBU/w-d-xo.html th-cam.com/video/HhNZ4sD9NeA/w-d-xo.html
@@beeslandscaping no I'm asking if after the release of the Signia, will Venza pricing go down? I mean, buying Venza afterwards makes more sense than right now.
I’ve been aware of the Venza since it came out but only recently did I become aware of what a great choice in the current market it is. I was strongly drawn to hybrid vehicles and who makes the best hybrids? Toyota. The Honda CR-V is the closest competitor but the dealer markups killed that idea for me. The Hyundai-Kia’s? Maybe but they don’t have the reliability or quality. And the Limited trim is the best way to go as it ads a whole lot of benefits. I drove the XLE for six months and found myself constantly yearning for the ventilated seats, the all-around cams, the pretty gray interior, etc.
Awesome video Sir. You are a hoot, makes for a very entertaining watch, while you provide a lot of info. Really enjoyed the time, Karate kicks, songs and all. You got yourself a new subscription. 😅😁
These vehicles the Venza will be in huge demand used since they are doing away with this model, so many people love this car, it’s such a better alternative to the Tucson quality wise and others. So many nice Lexus touches. Pure quality and time tested drivetrain bullet proof drivetrain.
I may be scooping up a Venza Limited before it goes away......I do not like the replacement - Crown Signia - too big, too low, too claustrophobic, too bright (no rear window tinting)....it will be interesting to see how the Crown Signia is received in terms of sales.
@@DebWilson-z8c agree. It’s the wave of the future but it’s low, just like a high car. The interior is interesting, but the price is way more than the Venza, maybe $7,000.
I wonder why Toyota didn't really advertise the Venza? You never see a commercial for it; at least I haven't. I didn't even find out about the Venza until I was researching to get a Rav 4; decided on a 2024 Venza XLE instead and very happy with it so far.
Hey Jeff! Really enjoy your reviews. I actually have the same color combo on my 2021 Venza Limited! I bought it last year with only 750 miles. It was actually a Toyota HQ's loaner, thus the reason for the low mileage. I was looking for a "Lexus like" vehicle without that hefty price tag. The closest Lexus to the Venza is the NX 350. They look very similar from the side. I actually like the back of the Venza better. It's sad to see it go. I don't think it was advertised well enough and it's a "niche" market for sure (empty nesters really). It's very comfortable, quiet and fun to drive. I think the Crown Insigia is ok, but I don't think it's as stylish and sporty looking. Thanks again for a great review!
Question: ( maybe, not so bright) Won't it be hard to find parts once discontinued? Or parts are basically the same as RAv4? Why should I buy Venza instead of RAV4? I love the Venza design though. :)
Yes it has Toyota nav. It is a small extra charge after a year free but might be worth it. Having two nav’s, as with Apple CarPlay, is a bit confusing.
It's disappointing that you talk about some features without actually showing how you did it. That's not what I was expecting from a How-to tutorial. So far, you've said the stargaze roof has to be turned on before you can switch between clear and opaque. Turned on where? You didn't say. Then you went to the 360 view camera, again, without saying how to bring it up. I realize you aren't going through every feature in this video. But, be more thorough about the features you do mention.
@@dcgrrl321 that’s really feedback that I can use. With my how to videos I will be more specific and thorough while keeping in mind that I need to demonstrate the features in this kind of content. Sorry I let you down this time, but I will get better.
We're absolutely loving our '23 Venza Limited. Such a nice car. Shame Toyota will be discontinuing this model.
Test drove a ‘24 Limited today. Quiet and comfortable on the road. I was impressed with the smooth transition from battery to engine power.

Last chance to snag a super automobile as it’s discontinued next year. Beautiful in red.

Cloth seats I can confirm her way less comfortable than the SEL or The Limited the value also is in the limited top tier

Don’t pick a lower level model then complain.

Its sales number wasn’t that great compare to the RAV4 hybrid which has more cargo space. So it’s getting replaced by the bigger 2025 Crown Signia.
It seems like Toyota didn't really advertise the Venza. I've only really discovered it when researching for a Rav4.
@@Tubeofbeans the Crown looks nice also.

Wow, I'm considering it actually. Do you think the Crown Signia being released will affect Venza pricing? I mean, if it drops, I can wait.
It’s gonna start at 51

Love this vehicle have the same exact color exterior and it is so stunning❤❤😊
Great review. I bought one recently. I wasn’t told until AFTER the purchase about the key chip shortage and was only provided one key.
There is a delay in getting the second key. No big deal.
Huge points for saying Head Up display properly!!

I have been riding a lot of Ubers as of late. Many of which were Toyotas. I must say the Venza is a step above for those who want to ride in comfort.
That is a sweet venza definitely love the pretty red color

Yes, I studied the Crown Signa, which has a sharp interior but is too low and not as practical.
I don't like the look of signia. Drove a crown and the seats weren't as comfortable

i love my 2023 venza limited. super good 👍, Thanks for the Video🙏🏻
How does the Venza Limited accelerate on highways and passing cars and trucks Jeff??
I just don't like 4 cylinder engines. Does it come in a V6?
no, just a hybrid 4 cylinder

Rav4
I don't want the Star Gaze roof. Having issues finding Limited without Star Gaze roof which is not in Celestial Black or Wind Chill.
Isn't this the toyota harrier 4wd
Almost better than the Signia.
The Signa is also significantly more expensive.
Is that vehicle still producing? Sales may be awful
This is the last year for United States production. Toyota is offering the crown, Signia SUV in its place.
Jeff, I like the Venza but I like the Crown Signia even more. 🤩🤩
Does it have on board navigation? I didnt see it on the sticker.
Yes it has Toyota nav. It is a small extra charge after a year free but might be worth it. Having two nav’s, as with Apple CarPlay, is a bit confusing.
Not my style, but these definitely have Lexus-like build quality
Turn signal location kills it more me.
The karate move is a little too much for me....kidding;) we recently got one in titanium glow color.
Why on earth venza has two light bulbs at the front but only one is fuctional?
You’re talking the interior overheads? Yes two. Maybe you saw a defective one.
😊
Terrible location for the parking brake and the start button.
A little quirky but no big deal once you’re used to it.
