Hi Kirk, Just wanted to let you know that I purchased a Venza LE. Previously I owned the LS430 and the Tesla S. I have to say that I am very impressed by the Venza. No regrets about getting the LE. The stereo is plenty good. The smaller infotainment screen is good for me. Mine is a late 2023. Too bad it’s getting replaced by the Crown Signia. Nothing bad to say about the Crown Signia except the cost will be significantly higher. Thanks for your great videos! John
I am fortunate enough to own a 2021 Venza Limited. Even without the newer features that were added in the 2023 model, it exudes a luxurious and feature-packed ambiance. I think the current generation Venza very well may be the best and most well-rounded Toyota product ever made. Beautiful interior and exterior styling, tons of features, high quality materials and the classic THS system reliability and smoothness. I have traditionally been a Lexus customer but once the Venza was released I really didn't even consider the new NX. I just hope that Totoya doesn't have a knee-jerk reaction to the relatively low sales of this car and discontinue it after this generation.
Nope. Toyota is a volume player if a model does not sale 100K units for a few years, onto the chopping block. Then they'll bring it back years or decade down the road if they have a cult followers. .
Toyota Venza is called Toyota Harrier in Japan. In North America, Toyota Venza is purely made in and imported from Japan. Even after North American market is discontinued after 2024, the production of Toyota Harrier will continue for 2025 and after in Japan and few selected countries (primarily Asia). BTW, that panoramic stargaze moonroof (frosted glass feature), for Toyota/Lexus, is only available in Venza, Lexus Rz450e (top package option), and Lexus GX 550. In a nutshell, Toyota Venza Limited includes most of the high-end options (Ultra Luxury/Executive additional $$$$) in Lexus package but without paying extra. Love Toyota Harrier (Venza).
Three months ago, we traded our beloved 2011 Lexus RX350 for a 2024 Venza XLE Nightshade. Having owned a second car that was a Ford Fusion hybrid, we had no reservations when it came to the hybrid powertrain of the Toyota, which is almost legendary for its efficiency and reliability. In the end, we feel it is going to return some of the best resale value. Nothing gives you a better feeling for a new car then to take it on a road trip. Three weeks on the highway and 3,480 miles later through 6 states, we've come to love the Venza as much as we did the Lexus. Moreso, for the fantastic fuel mileage which over the entire trip averaged 41.3 mpg of high speed (75+- mph) freeways and lots of sitting in stop and go city traffic. Since then, in town and highway driving combined has the average up over 43 mpg. We had no problems at all with the climate controls because they were pretty much the same as the Lexus. In fact, we thought they were superior to other makes/models that like to claim the most gizmos that we can easily do without. The radar cruise control is fantastic, as were the other safety and technical wizardries that allowed us to 'live life' in the car without directly accessing our cellphones which is against the law in our state. The car comes with a separate and easy to understand manual for the entertainment and navigation systems. What's not covered in that manual is covered in the more detailed one. About three total hours of sipping coffee and exploring in the driver's seat will cover about 90% of the items I read in other comments. If you are in the market for a solid car with great looks and fantastic predicted reliability, give the Venza a look.
The buzz in the steering wheel was a warning that you got near the road edge. The heads up display does give turn-by turn directions. The volume control is also on the steering wheel. I have the 2023 Venza Limited.
I am a previous owner of a 2021 limited Venza, which I truly liked. It was very comfortable, looked beautiful, and was full of luxury. However, I did trade it in after a year because my wife and I decided that we wanted more room. So, because the Venza spoiled me with luxury that I never had before, I upgraded to a 2022 Lexus 450hl. However, in terms of seating, I'm down to 4 people with the captains chairs and an absolutely useless 3rd row that I always keep down to use for additional trunk storage. I am also disappointed by the lack of a digital rear view mirror that I had in my 2021 Venza. Thanks for the great review as always!
My wife and I test drove both the Venza and Lexus NX 350h to see if the Venza is really like Lexus like most reviewers are saying, the moment we sat on the Lexus we both agreed that they’re not like Lexus, still very much like a Toyota.
We did the same thing. Test drove the NX350H, Venza Limited and RX350H. The RX hybrid feels the best but $64k OTD I didn’t want to pay that much for a car. Venza limited is $49k OTD. We bought the NX350H at $52K OTD.
We have both rx350 and Venza. They are comparable. Especially for the price difference and available options. Yes ride is more plushy in rx350 and finishes a little better.
If you’re comparing a 23 nx350h to a 23 venza the Lexus is definitely going to be miles above. If you go back to the previous gen rx it’s still above the Toyota but that’s the gen they’re referring to when comparing.
@@pagodad8079totally agree. The NXH is quieter compared to the Venza . The previous gen RX is quieter than the Highlander as well. Now the current RX is just a tag noisier due to the Turbo 4 vs the V6.
I bought a 2021 Venza XLE with an optional upgraded interior which included heated and cooled ventilated seats. This was a $600 upgrade that I love living in SW Florida. I plan to keep it a very long time. Great review on the new 2024s!
I always learn from these episodes--acoustic glass, climate concierge, materials and details of Toyota vs Lexus, etc. Depth of analysis is impressive. I even agree about brown interiors although this version works. Looking forward to reports from Tokyo.
I believe you have made my mind up for me Kirk. I was on the fence about purchasing a Rav 4 Prime, verses a Venza. I now think I will be buying the Venza, even though my dream car is a Lexus NX. I believe I can still get luxury out of the Venza, without paying the Lexus NX money...lol?! And I think I'd go Venza LE, or Limited.
@hadlee189 what's thst go to so with it? Mfg are required to keep parts for it for 10 years on all vehicles. This vehicle shares the same platform as the Rav4 and Harrier both are still made and will be made for the foreseeable future. You never wanted it that's why. It's illogical to dismiss the Venza. Being discontinued? Not really. It's still supported. Same engine in the Crown, Rav4 m, Prius, Highlander etc.
I have a NX and Venza; both have pros and cons. Lexus is faster, Venza little bigger. Venza has a spare, NX 350h doesn’t. NX might be a little quieter once I ditch the run flat tires, which is soon. NX has a better infotainment system, but Venza costs 5k less.
I have a 2022 Limited. I have not had a single issue with it in 34,000km. I've gotten 38mpg average since I've owned it (and that includes 2 winters). Only "issue" is the passenger seat doesn't go down (fixed for 2023 version) and is very high for my wife to get into lol. The touchscreen is a pain, everyone says it and I hope Toyota goes back to buttons, no one likes these things! This was my first Toyota purchase but I suspect it won't be my last, I'm sold on their quality. I'll keep this one quite a while, as it's already priced $5000 more in 2023-2024 than I paid for mine lol. I should also mention that a similarly equipped Lexus NX here in Ontario Canada is almost $20k more (taxes and fees included) in 2023 than a Venza Limited, so as much as I'd like the Lexus more, it's not worth that much of a price difference to me :)
Great review Kirk, the Venza really hits the mark for smooth, quiet & comfortable transportation. Add in the superb build quality & refinement, and this would make a great road tripper. The 45+ mpg fuel efficiency is the icing on a subtle and satisfying cake.
I've been bouncing around the various models, with repeated returns to the RAV4. All that being said, I've really been looking hard at the Venza Limited, but your review is the first one that specifically talks about how quiet and comfortable it is over the other Toyota crossovers. If I'm going to drive from Oregon to Texas and back, I want to be comfortable. LoL
I own a 2021 Venza and absolutely love it. Mine is an XLE but I got an optional upgrade package which gave you the Limited seats. As far as the odd engine start button goes, after a day or two you forget about it. I was lucky and bought mine just before Covid and actually got a grand knocked off the sticker!
Same here, the black softex pkg, heated and ventilated seats and heated steering wheel plus the JBL/Sub/NAV cinched the deal for me. The Ruby Flare Pearl was my test driver and after a few miles on the Hwy, plus local driving, I was quite impressed. So after a brief talk to the mgr and his assistant I went off to the finance dept and took a 3 yr lease, 15K miles/year. I have just shy of 40K miles and one payment left, so if the numbers are good for the ‘24 Limited, it’s a done deal. The ‘21 optional pkgs that were installed are N/A on the XLE for ‘24, only on the LTD. This is where T makes their profits, as they’ve got you hooked and you’ll likely not want to settle for less than you were comfortable with. It’s marketing and the bean counters that have it in for the U.S. consumers. 😐
I love the electric rear motor with ZERO mechanical drive train and 89 ft/lbs of INSTANTANEOUS TORQUE! It's no race car, but that rear electric motor really improves performance from a dead stop. I test drove the Avalon hybrid front-wheel drive it was a dog and slow off the line. The rear motor on the Venza really makes up for not having a turbo on the 4 cylinder. And with no turbo the engine will last forever.
The Venza LE is best value- near Lexus luxury for a mid-30s price. The 18 inch wheels also make for smoother ride. We average 41 to 43 mpg in suburban FL driving.
Kirk, one thing that keeps surprising me about this beautiful new generation of Venza since 2021 is the location of the turn signals in rear bumper. This looks like a serious safety issue to me as cars close to the back of the Venza are essentially unable to see the turn signal. Additionally, slightest impact to the rear bumper will disable the turn signals. The only thing that can be placed that low in the rear bumper are just the simple reflectors not something as critical as turn signals.
It’s not been an issue for Hyundai and Kia who build millions of cars with turn signals low in their bumpers. People leave comments that it’s dangerous but it’s not. The turn signals are easy to see when in reality.
The Venza! I love it! Since the Venza took on the old Lexus RX body style the newest RX stays somewhat relevant. The RX is in trouble though because of TX, NX, and Venza.
Kirk, the Limited has “Birds eye” and that is my favourite feature. Currently I have a 20 RAV4 hybrid limited and my Venza arrives in a few weeks. The volume controls aren’t an issue for me and neither is the smaller trunk. To me it’s like a raised sedan that’s nicer than the Rav4..
@@joannestazio4495 I did in January and I am waiting for delivery. I was planning to buy it in 2025. I have to do it in 2024 because of Toyota’s decision.
My reasons to buy a Lexus: 1. Toyota Reliability 2. LFA Nürburgring Fan 3. Luxury / Flex Toyota/Lexus/Mazda are the king in reliability, so if you want a luxury car - but still value peace of mind. Lexus is the best option.
Love the venza ! Hope they don’t discontinue this vehicle,it’s got looks and 47 mpg……like really…..that’s incredible for an SUV!!! Because of the back window angle the cargo space is maybe a little smaller then I would like, but overall this is an amazing vehicle for a Toyota……I would say it’s not quite Lexus standards but somewhere in between Lexus and toyota. It’s definitely more affordable then a Lexus. If Toyota continues to build this vehicle I hope they have a phev option!
Kirk, I sat in the rear of a new Venza yesterday and thought that the rear leg room is not what you had mentioned. I am 5' 9 1/2' and felt after sitting in the driver's seat there was minimal leg space in the rear seat. So much for carrying additional passengers on any 2+ hour road trip. Yes, the Venza's style is beautiful but I would also have to drive the vehicle for any further comments.
That’s my main gripe with Venza too. It’s really the Toyota version of the Lexus NX in terms of a smaller SUV. I wish Venza was the Lexus-like version of the RX and was as spacious as the RAV4.
2:28 I just don't like turn signals on the bottom of the car with manufacturers doing it because they want the taillights looking sleeker, yes I know about turn signals not allowed on moving parts (tailgate). Would rather get an RX
I would still call those "physical buttons" though vs. Cars like volvo where you have to use the infotainment system to access climate controls, etc. They may not be push button per se, but still easily accessible without having to use a screen. It's win IMO.
Love the Venza! It does remind me of my second and third generation RX’s that I used to own! I bought a Mazda CX 50 premium plus without the turbo. It has a lot of the features that the high-end Lexus NX Luxury package has for much cheaper. At the time there weren’t that many Venza’s on the lots and I was concerned that the prices were going to be marked up n them
@@SoBe80s. My wife and I checked out a CX-50 last Friday... within 5 seconds of sitting in it, we knew it was a NO GO. Super uncomfortable. No way. So: it might LOOK good, but you're not buying a photo!!!
The warmer your climate the better the Venza mileage will be. In the summer I can get 41 or 42 but now that it's getting cold I can 'only' get 38 or 39.
Kirk how do you tell if the drivers side and passenger side windows are accoutic you roll the window half way down and with your finger rub across the top of it. If the window is split it's accoustic. My Mazda CX-5 is accustic.
Kirk, excellent vid and review! I’ve seen many others and you’re good! After two Rx 350s (a 2010 & a loaded 2016), I just found a Limited ‘24 Venza that is coming in next week, in beautiful Wind Chill Pearl with black/Java interior, for $1000 under MSRP. Not many left anywhere at this point! Can’t wait to pick it up! (Our other car is a ‘24 Prius in the same color.) I’m kind of glad that it’s being discontinued after this ‘24 model year as I think down the road the Venza, especially a ‘23 or ‘24 limited, is going to be in high demand as a used car because of its reputation coupled with the fact that not many were sold.
Bought 24 limited 2 weeks ago, stargaze roof, ruby red pearl. $1500 off. Most unexpected but appreciated item is digital rear view mirror (not in pouring rain), when parked I could just see a tree in regular mirror, when using camera I could see several feet of far side of tree.
Back in 2005 I considered a Lexus RX300 vs a 4Runner. I went with the 4Runner since I’d be using the vehicle for golf carpooling, fishing trips and everyday use. It just made more sense for me to not go the more luxury route. Still driving the 4Runner everyday, with over 200k.
Perhaps someone answered this already, but those discs in the console fit into the cup holders. They allow smaller drinks to fit without getting swallowed up. Brilliant, if completely misunderstood, design.
I don’t understand who at Toyota decided NOT placing a volume knob for their infotainment on the larger, more upscaled display and trims, but on the base model screen and trim instead, was a good idea. There’s absolutely no reason to not have a volume knob on the 10 inch infotainment.
Noticed there are Lexus NX350h’s built in Japan for around $49K… the smaller dash screen, but still digital rear view, parking sensors, ventilated seats, etc… better equipped than I expected… Venza Limited has 360 camera, bigger dash screen, that pano roof, etc… but NX has a better center console design… Point is, you can get a Japan-built NX that has enough features for not much more…. Would you still take the Venza then? 🤔
Bought a wife a made in Japan 24 NX350H in April. Base version with moonroof, heated seat, steer wheel, power rear door…,at $46.6K plus tax fee at no markup and add ons. A Venza limited at without the star roof is at $44.4K MSRP. It was a no brainer for us to buy the Lexus.
Kirk how you would tell if the driver side windows are accoustic is roll the window half way down and put your finger across the top of the glass if the glass is split it's accoustic. The front windshield is laminated. The side usually aren't unless there accoustic.
Great review, thank you. I really like this car and am considering buying it. The thing that is holding me back is that 2024 is this model’s last year (in 2025 it will be replaced by the Crown Signia). Maybe if I get a sweet deal on it I might just get it.
Great review as always. The sales of the Venza will go down as people get past it being new.If Toyota wants to sell more of these they should not offer a limited trim in the Rav 4.The good thing about the Venza over the NX is the Venza runs on regular fuel and has slightly more room and a spare tire. But that roof what a mistake if it was so good it would be on a Lexus.
Bought my Venza yesturday. 2024 Limited, Coastal Gray/boulder w/ Star-gaze roof, last one of this color combo in New England. The Signia was more money and it just looks BIG....like an Avalon wagon... the wheels look hip, but impractical. Venza has every feature imaginable. The NX350 does not really compete, the NX350h was +$14k. Rav4 is like driving a box. Why Toyota? Why kill the Venza?
Kirk, When you are playing golf with Akio Toyoda during your Japan trip, please ask why the Venza has NO tow rating?🤔 As much as I admire the extra style and luxury of the Venza, the superior cargo and towing practicality of the RAV4 Hybrid earns my vote. 🤩
Good review of a very nice looking SUV, just wish it could tow like the RAV4 hybrid. Too bad that all dealers locally are saying it is "un-obtainium", with wait times around 1.5 to over 2 years, and no test drives ever.
I honestly think that Toyota Indonesia should sell the Venza/Harrier officially, given its track record and popularity amongst private importers in the country. But at the same time, I think that would mean 2 things: Lexus has low sales because of Harrier. Or the Harrier has low sales because of Lexus.
Hi Kirk! Liked the review. I’m in SF too! I’m waiting for a 2024 but deciding between the Sportage SX Prestige Hybrid, Venza Limited and Lexus Nx 350 Premium Hybrid. I’m giving up the 360 camera on Lexus. The Lexus is the only one that I won’t have to pay sticker price on. What would you recommend?
Kia should not even be part of the ones you are looking at. Kias are not great cars not know for being reliable. IF you google Lexus and Toyota reliability always comes up and it does not for Kia.
I'm surprised Toyota is discontinuing the Venza by replacing it with the Crown Signia. I know the Signia is bigger and more "Lexus" like in some areas, but I puzzled why they're skipping the 360 view cameras, the power tilt/telescopic steering wheel with memory, no rear seat recline, no stargaze roof, no fog lights, etc.
First time I came across this guy and his reviews. I find them very helpful. Practical and I like the comparison with other trim models. I also like he keeps it detailed, but yet brief. Good job!
As a 6’4” 2021 Venza driver I’d disagree upon roominess. I readily bump my head on the top of the driver door entry when I get into the car. In general, the Venza is big on the outside and small on the inside. My wife’s BMW X1 is far, far roomier.
i have a NX hybrid now but was thinking of the new RX for my next car. However, the RX v6 is no longer available. I can't see myself paying $66k for car that shares the same 4 banger hybrid power train with all its other hybrids. The Venza makes sense
My sister got a venza 2021 XLE with with both heating seat and cool venting seat and although I’m not a big fan of the skyline I’m just fine with the standard sunroof. Just saying
I bought a 2023 LE about a month ago. Great so far, except should have defiantly gone with XLE or Limited! LE interior is rental car level. Big mistake for me. Although I'm so busy playing with all the crazy level of electronics and enjoy the smoothness, the seat is very uncomfortable and Limited seats are NOT. Cloth RAV4 seats are what you get with LE and they are horrible.
Thanks for telling me about the room in the venza i was going to buy one but now that you said it's low get out 6 foot 5 inches this is Roland mcClendon so it's going to be toyota 4 runner
Venza Prime would be primo... that'd be my choice if available in U.S. If I need a car right away, Venza LE, with the simpler infotain, smaller wheels, and breathable seats, used 2021 or 22 probably. Otherwise, Rav4 Prime I think would be good, if I could save up for a newer one. OR... Crown Signia xle?
Seems like the level of quietness was very overstated in the video. Owners say it’s really not that quiet. Maybe the Limited has more sound deadening than lower trims, but there have been a lot of highway noise complaints about the Venza. Looks like you were not driving at full highway speeds. 40 MPH is going to be much quieter than 75MPH especially for wind and tire noise. The Venza is less noisy than a RAV 4 though. So, that’s something, but that’s a low bar.
@@KirkKreifels, it’s interesting that in this hands on test drive review you seem quite a bit more positive in your remarks since your previous YT video at home 2 weeks ago which seemed like you were panning the Venza save for the LE trim. It is a good bang for the buck, but lacking in many of the amenities the XLE & Ltd offer. Having put on 40K miles on my ‘21 leased XLE, I can attest to the OEM Bridgestone Ecopia tires as crappy and noisy, lasting to only 37K miles. Having installed Michelin Defender2 XL, 235/55R-19 tires, road force balanced, they transform the Venza to Lexus like ride comfort and a much quieter cabin ride. If the ‘24 LTD is priced right with my trade in, $29K, it could be a deal I would take. Too bad they widened the gap between trim levels with options and pkgs N/A now, as was available in ‘21. It’s all about the $$$$.
I love my heads-up display and it has WAY MORE information than the Mazda heads-up display. I get street signs including speed limits, engine info, and much more.
Fortuner ride is quite harsh, and it's mainly powered by turbodiesel which won't make it pass US regs. In some countries that are oil rich though, with low gas prices, it does come with a V6.
@@MrRaitzi They don't have Fortuner in Europe, or the Innova, which is a multipurpose vehicle or MPV that uses the Hilux platform and is very popular in Asia. Technically Fortuner and Innova can be sold in any country that allows for the turbo diesel Hilux to be sold, but if they are not selling these two, then there are other unique reasons. This likewise goes to the HiAce vans and trucks.
In Canada the Lexus nx 350h is the same price as the highest trim of the Venza. Unless you’re good with lowest trim , the Lexus NX is better. Funny enough , here in Ontario, Canada in the Toronto area, there are way more NX than Venza on the streets and highways.
Door panels inside: noticed excessive flex when I looked at one of these recently… is that a red flag for build quality? Because not all Toyotas had this flex when push on the door panels Also, that center console could be a deal breaker… it’s like Toyota was going out of its way to make the least practical center console to arm rest area they could get away with.
The Venza is just a RAV4 Hybrid with a different body. Same engine. Same wheelbase. Venza has Smaller trunk. Less rear headroom, and non-opening sunroof. For this much money, I would buy a RAV4 Prime SE that has same if not more sound insulation than Venza AND , is made in Japan.
Thank you for doing this driving review. I test drove the 2021 when it first arrived, but I haven't driven the Venza since. I am saving to buy a new Venza Limited and so far I have saved about $15,000 . I will have the money to buy one in two years or 2025/2026. The Venza Limited is an elegant SUV, quiet ride, excellent features and gadgets that I want like power tilt steering wheel, memory seats, heated steering wheel, heated and ventalated seats, navigation, and so much more. I am 62 with no wife or kids and this is the PERFECT SUV for me.
Smart move, save and buy in cash. Interest rate is too high to go into car debt. My wife just bought a Lexus NX350H, $52K and made in Japan, we paid cash in full, because we always save up a few hundreds $ a month into a car fund and we have had our old 08 Lexus RX350 for 15 years, it is now my son’s first car.
@@jml9550 I was saving $600 a month but now I save $700 a month. Just got another raise and I hope to save $800 a month. But thanks for your post. I don't want to make a car payment either. I hope your wife has fun with her new Lexus!
@@Irishmanbikes best of luck man. If you are willing to give up some features, I think the Venza LE is one heck of a deal at $36k plus tax fee. But I do understand that those features are nice to have. Keep saving man, you will get there in no time.

I traded my 2015 Prius with a 2022 XLE. It drives so smoothly and I'm getting 43 mpg combined consistently. Too bad the ugly Crown Signia (IMHO) is replacing it. So sad.
Love the front end and interior. The rear has yet to grow on me😭 if they make a prime model I’m sure I’ll get over the rear. Pretty sure this has real leather. I’m liking the wheels on the LE a lil too much😅
We still choose to put 91 on our new NXh. My wife only drive 6K miles max a year. At 38MPG average, the difference is only $60 a years given the difference of 40 cents per gallon. $900 for 15 years of ownership won’t make any difference our bank.

I am also disappointed by the lack of a digital rear view mirror that I had in my 2021 Venza. Thanks for the great review as always!
Bought 2024 venza limited for my wife . We are very happy with Venza.
How do you like 2024 Venza? I can't decide on 2024 Venza nightshade or Lexus UX 300 Hybrid
@@vadskar64This. Quieter in the Lexus too. Acceptable in the Venza. Enough so we bought the Venza and got off the Lexus train.
I bought a 2021 Venza XLE with an optional upgraded interior which included heated and cooled ventilated seats. This was a $600 upgrade that I love living in SW Florida. I plan to keep it a very long time.
Great review on the new 2024s!
Nice dense information in this review - the cadence is spot on! Potential buyers (me) want this - info, not BS
I always learn from these episodes--acoustic glass, climate concierge, materials and details of Toyota vs Lexus, etc. Depth of analysis is impressive. I even agree about brown interiors although this version works. Looking forward to reports from Tokyo.
I recently bought the limited edition of venza 2023 , man I'm loving it.
Very small interior. Feels cramped. Just test drove the LTD Venza.
@@MCS7000 I've changed my mind on the Venza since it has been discontinued.
Smart.
Great review Kirk, the Venza really hits the mark for smooth, quiet & comfortable transportation. Add in the superb build quality & refinement, and this would make a great road tripper. The 45+ mpg fuel efficiency is the icing on a subtle and satisfying cake.
$40 fill ups are great!
i got my 2023 venza limited yesterday. its better than i expected. love it. Thanks for the video
What are the differences between 2023 and 2024 limited models?
Bought one for my sister in 2021. Back then when they re-issued them they started at 32,000. Great car and good in the snow!!
RX sold 83k units so far it will never stop being the best selling luxury vehicle
Never is along time!@@chezzyperson3339
The RX is too large. I had a 22 RX and traded it in for a smaller car.@@chezzyperson3339
Lexus steals all the vehicles from Toyota then complains about it if Toyota makes a successful car. "Your stealing my sales!" Smh.
Congrats! I'm sure you'll have a great time in your new ride!
@Brian_Eugene_Leenot sure what you’re talking about?
@@KirkKreifelswould you buy a Venza knowing 2024 is its last year it will be made.??
@@joannestazio4495 I did in January and I am waiting for delivery. I was planning to buy it in 2025. I have to do it in 2024 because of Toyota’s decision.
My reasons to buy a Lexus:
1. Toyota Reliability
2. LFA Nürburgring Fan
3. Luxury / Flex
Toyota/Lexus/Mazda are the king in reliability, so if you want a luxury car - but still value peace of mind. Lexus is the best option.
Mazda?🤔

Traded a 2017 RDX for a 2024 Venza nightshade - major upgrade. Better ride, quiet and nicer interior.
As a 23 Venza Limited Owner, I am in agreement to much of Kirk's observations.
Very good review. I may buy a 2024 tomorrow.
2:28 I just don't like turn signals on the bottom of the car with manufacturers doing it because they want the taillights looking sleeker, yes I know about turn signals not allowed on moving parts (tailgate). Would rather get an RX
A very well done review, relevant and clear!
I would still call those "physical buttons" though vs. Cars like volvo where you have to use the infotainment system to access climate controls, etc. They may not be push button per se, but still easily accessible without having to use a screen. It's win IMO.
Thank you for review!!! Even Venza LE is amazing car!
Love the Venza! It does remind me of my second and third generation RX’s that I used to own! I bought a Mazda CX 50 premium plus without the turbo. It has a lot of the features that the high-end Lexus NX Luxury package has for much cheaper. At the time there weren’t that many Venza’s on the lots and I was concerned that the prices were going to be marked up n them
I think the CX50 is one of the best looking vehicles on the road and Mazda as a company is awesome!
Just waiting for the CX50 hybrid and then I'll place my order

The warmer your climate the better the Venza mileage will be. In the summer I can get 41 or 42 but now that it's getting cold I can 'only' get 38 or 39.
In the dead of a Minnesota winter, my Limited mileage drops by 20-25% to the low 30’s.

(Our other car is a ‘24 Prius in the same color.)
I’m kind of glad that it’s being discontinued after this ‘24 model year as I think down the road the Venza, especially a ‘23 or ‘24 limited, is going to be in high demand as a used car because of its reputation coupled with the fact that not many were sold.
I totally agree with you about the shifter.
I don’t understand who at Toyota decided NOT placing a volume knob for their infotainment on the larger, more upscaled display and trims, but on the base model screen and trim instead, was a good idea. There’s absolutely no reason to not have a volume knob on the 10 inch infotainment.
Noticed there are Lexus NX350h’s built in Japan for around $49K… the smaller dash screen, but still digital rear view, parking sensors, ventilated seats, etc… better equipped than I expected… Venza Limited has 360 camera, bigger dash screen, that pano roof, etc… but NX has a better center console design…
Point is, you can get a Japan-built NX that has enough features for not much more….
Run flat tires, premium fuel, expensive service for the Lexus and Toyota, spare tire, regular fuel, regular tires..

Had a 2021 Venza Limited and now just ordered a 2024 Venza limited.
how do you order it? I thought the dealers are allocated cars and you put your name on one of the car builds that they are getting in?
Hello, is there any difference between venza in 2021 and Venza in 2024? Does it feel better to drive?
Will wait for the new updated Rav4 to make my decisión, what you think
The best bang for your buck is the new gen 25 Camry. Can't wait for it to come out!
Kirk, I think the venza is not a patch on the niceness and quality of the RX. Enjoying your channel
I came from BMW and had a 23 RX350. I did not think the interior quality was that great. It was a step down from a BMW quality for me.
Why buy a Lexus? Because you can find them in stock! Venza’s are impossible to find in my area except the most expensive models.
Would buy one if it had a tow rating.
I am in Japan and 5’4. If the Venza and Crown sedan feel like they have little head room; the Crown Sports might feel more cramped.
I saw that Daihatsu & also Toyota Hilux are very popular in Indonesia. Smart people🤓👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Curious if Venza gets chopped for a crown sport
Great video, what is the towing capacity of this vehicle?
It’s not rated for towing. So none.
Good job!
I’m still waiting Venza Prime. Okay maybe they should’ve renamed back to Harrier.
Kirk, would pick the Venza or the Crown Signia?
Hi there,
This video is exactly what I was looking for. I was deciding between the venza or a Lexus. Thx to u, venza it will be. 🙏🏾 Thx
Lexus has better comfort and resale value. Not by much, but it’s noticeable.
As a 6’4” 2021 Venza driver I’d disagree upon roominess. I readily bump my head on the top of the driver door entry when I get into the car. In general, the Venza is big on the outside and small on the inside. My wife’s BMW X1 is far, far roomier.
I agree the X1 has great head room. Thing is a box.
Best line (“Venza is a wolf in sheep’s clothing”)
i have a NX hybrid now but was thinking of the new RX for my next car. However, the RX v6 is no longer available. I can't see myself paying $66k for car that shares the same 4 banger hybrid power train with all its other hybrids. The Venza makes sense
the new RX is still a much better car... make sure you really think about it before you regret the decision.
I had a 23 RX350 and traded it after a year. I did not feel it was special or luxury for me. I came from BMW. That is luxury. @@iloveanime1313

How would you compare it with the Crown, in terms of the riding/handling?
Very beautiful vehicle. It is better or Rav 4???
I’m sold on the Venza Limited. Been looking for a Hybrid vehicle.
The Venza is nice, but nothing compares to a Lexus!
Yes it does get louder above 55 mph. Lexus has it beat there.
Fortuner ride is quite harsh, and it's mainly powered by turbodiesel which won't make it pass US regs. In some countries that are oil rich though, with low gas prices, it does come with a V6.
@@ChrisRobato still they sell hilux here. Obviously only with diesel engine and not gasoline.
@@MrRaitzi They don't have Fortuner in Europe, or the Innova, which is a multipurpose vehicle or MPV that uses the Hilux platform and is very popular in Asia.

Because not all Toyotas had this flex when push on the door panels
Also, that center console could be a deal breaker… it’s like Toyota was going out of its way to make the least practical center console to arm rest area they could get away with.
