Increasing water pressure on a Reverse Osmosis water tank

I was wondering if I could do it while all hooked up with water in it, some other people say turn off disconnect, drain water from tank first… thanks mate 👍

You will notice the pressure will be higher so it will be harder to pump. Opening the beverage faucet will help if you want and it will push some water out.
I think the point of disconnecting and draining first:
1) To clear out old water
2) For accurate measure of the pressure to get what the manufacturer recommends

How long will it stay re-pressurized ?

@@speckles3012 hard to tell but I adjust it each year when I replace filters
