I remember when I first got my RO system and I’m like why does this need to be under the sink?? I barely have room under my sinks as is. Did the same as you and put in basement and I did splitters to have a spout at the kitchen sink, one in the basement and one going behind our pet water bowl which made refilling waaaayyy easier. I also upgraded my 1/4 outlet lines to 3/8 for more pressure and flow. Later on I also ended up adding a much bigger second tank and the two tanks with bladders increased flow really nice. 👍
Love the videos keep up the good work. Them paper bricks for wood stove you ever try putting everything in a paper shredder first? Then mixing it? Works wonders ☺️

I just bought a paper shredder
@@DIYJIM would love to see a video on how it’s works out. We do 50/50 dust an paper
what if the nozzle leaks water when you check for pressure or pump the air in? does that mean the tank should be replaced?
Definitely sounds like you need a new tank. Thanks for watching
How many psi i need for the tank
Think I said that in the video.
How many psi
5.two 7❤
I'm getting 19psi and a weak stream of water..... had always been weak... just replaced filters.. I'm clueless with next steps. Anyone know?
19 psi after completely emptying your tank? Or is there still water in it?
So what is normal flow rate? Mine at 10 psi still takes 10 seconds to fill a cup of water, is this normal?
Sounds wrong, did you check the psi when the tank was empty?
@@DIYJIM Yep, at around 4 PSI flow is super weak as expected but 7 or 10 or 12, same mediocre flow
Wow look all the room under his sink. He even has a shelf for the tank to sit on wtf…….oh ok 🤦♂️
👌👌
Thanks for watching
ur water is so small/slow, i reckon you didn't fix it...
If you say so, thanks for watching
