  • Statutory Annual Leave Entitlements are the minimum that an employer can award based on certain conditions being fulfilled.
    Many employers award more than the minimum Statutory Annual Leave Entitlements and we do not deal with these here with this calculator. An employer can award more but not any less as outlined in our calculator.
    Regardless of whether employees are full-time, part-time, casual or temporary, they are all entitled to annual leave under the Organisation of Working Time Act 1997. Under this Act, the employer can decide the timing of an employee’s annual leave, providing the required notice is given and also taking into consideration the requirements of the business and the employee’s health and wellbeing.
