no, he has ONE dragon and FOUR FLYING TYPES
He has a bunch of dragons, only one of which is Dragon-type*.
(In other words types are dumb and they're still almost all dragons.)
But hey, at least the level on his only dragon type is correct, after all, you can only get Dragonite at level 55 and his Dragonite is-... oh.

Restrictions that they created.
They could've created more Dragon-type Pokémon to flesh out his team.
They could've made him specialise in any of the other unused types. (ie. Flying, Bug or Normal.)
They could've had him not specialise in any type at all.
Any of those would make more sense. But no, they took the stupid way out.
"We've got a bunch of dragons on his side" There was only 1 Dragon Type in the whole team.
"a bunch of dragons" is an expression that scykoh used loosely

Normally I would say something like "Torkoal wouldn't fit in there!" but I remember a while ago I saw on Bulbapedia that, according to the Dex, Torkoal is about 2 feet tall... so maybe?

Even though he has a Steelix and Tyranitar here, I've always found it funny how Lance is actually a flying-type trainer in the main games.

Aerodactyl has a 4x weakness to ice, so you should have used ice punch not thunder punch.
Isn't there all the Round 2 stuff, though?
"Technically he could have Extreme Speed", well, technically you can't have a lv52 Dragonite like his. You get Dragonite at level 55.

Fainting lowers a Pokemon's friendship, right? Does that work in Stadium also? If that's the case, remember Pooh's Return damage goes down when he faints. If that's the case, I'd do whatever it takes to keep him alive.

ice punch is more effective agains aerodactyl because it's also a rock type both thunderpunch and ice punch are super effective but ice punch does 4x the damage

A team of rentals are always weaker than an in-game team.
Joe Endez to be fair his team is pretty bad anyways.
Especially the fully-evolved ‘mons; they tend to have worse sets than their pre-evolutions (for example, Kadabra has a better move set than Alakazam)

Ice has never been supper effective against rock. It's ground you're thinking of. It confused the crud out of me for the first few pokemon games I played.
Kyle Bricker you've got it backwards, I've tested it out and checked type charts. Ice is definitely super effective of rock. Just check type charts on bubapedia and google

Ice is neutral to rock but rock is strong against ice maybe u looked on the wrong side

Actually, rock isn't weak to ice, ground is. So aerodactyl isn't 4x weak to ice

Why would you not use Ice Punch
The Treyceratops paralysis is permanent, freeze is not. Also, ice is neutral to rock (common misconception) so ice punch and thunder punch would do the same damage. Also, are you perhaps the Instagram nuzlocker, @the_treyceratops?
