If you use a RAM expansion pack in your N64 the experience in the GB tower would be 100x better. Stadium 2 takes advantage of it to load all of the game into RAM instead of having to load small segments all the time.
To optimize movesets for the Elite Four, you could always replace Vesta's Smog with Sludge Bomb and Rita's Cut with Giga Drain for some HP restoration or Iron Tail for extra coverage.
Ya know how ampharos can mega evolve into an electric dragon? And ya know how Claire is a dragon type trainer...

Hey Scykoh, I know it may have been kind of annoying to sidetrack out of Stadium and go back to Crystal, but I really appreciate you listening to viewers' recommendations.
Switch from 'load little' to 'load max' when selecting your game file. You can do this by pressing the right C-button when selecting your cartridge. This does a massive 1-2 minute pre-load, minimizing any transitioning lag, and Pokemon Crystal specifically has a special screen when loading showing your team in 3D.
And that was exactly what he wanted to avoid.
I just figured it would save time in editing, cutting out one constant minute as opposed to dealing with several minutes of lagginess during gameplay.

I would also recommend teaching Rita Giga drain over cut for recovery, just for the rest of the game
Some other tips is teach Pooh Shadow ball for coverage against certain bulky pokemon. And maybe saving the team data of one of your teams for one cup and evening out their levels a bit.
Shadow Ball is psysical until gen 4
You wouldn't get all these extra loading times if you chose load Max. You just have to watch the intro to the game and that's it for loading unless you are moving Pokemon across boxes rapidly.
That said Stadium 1's GB tower is a touch faster for loading.... at least for Red and Blue.

I never use moves like Hydro Pump or Solar Beam, I'd rather use moves that have good power and accuracy like Surf and Flamethrower. At least I know they will hit. Just my personal preference. Still, congrats on beating Claire.

Hey, after you're done with this series, you should transfer your team to Stadium 2, otherwise they'll disappear when Crystal's battery dies (which could be months to years depending on how recently it was replaced).
Also, why is the time maxed out on your Crystal game?
At the start of the game, he started breeding a perfect pineco to learn pin missile.

Of course that alone didn't take 999 hours, but i mean, he got out of goldenrod when he had spent 300 hours already. Can't remember how that number ended up being 999, but you can go watch the crystal series if you're interested.

(i dont want to be rude) but the thing is not only you dont know how to play, your pokemons are not even trained, your pokemon EVs are practically less than 100, (at least buy some HP UP Calcium Iron in your crystal game to raise it to 100) also take in mind that Thunder Punch/Ice punch are Special moves NOT physical moves (if you dont belive me try to hit a Blissey), this is not Gen4, and Shadow Ball is a Physical move and NOT Special move (you can actually read more about this on Emls Academy)
also take in mind that on these "gym battles" you can use up to Level 100 Pokemon but your opponent uses the level of the Max pokemon you use, so if you use a Level 100 pokemon your opponent will have level 100, if you have Lv 87 Pokemon Your Opponent will have Lv 87 Pokemon, if you are having trouble in Round 1 you will definitely die on Round 2 cause there not only they have better pokemon they are also trained and will have better stats, the pokemon you are facin in Round 1 they are not Trained, they dont have DVs (aka IVs) and they dont have EVs.
