Well... They did make a twitter post asking people what they want the VA to say as Hazard One of the highest liked replies was exactly what you'd guess (well, secondmost to SCOTLAND FOREVER)
Aye, and everyone knows British is Best after all; masters of land and sea, and all it took was getting bent over by the French, the Normans, the Vikings, the Romans... worth
I blame Trainspotting for the drug cliches. He was surprisingly positive about this! I thought he'd go off on a 20 minute rant about scottish character depictions in the media!
Yeah, the country that brought you fiber optics, the television, antibiotics, waterproof coats, the steam engine and MRI scanners... We're all just silly wee vagrants
Loved seeing Limmy hype up the expected cliches and stereotypes from a Scottish character. Couldn't even come close to the same reaction with the Canadian one.
For some clarification since it's not really apparent what's happening in the cinematic alone (Highly recommend watching the Story Time video narrated by Hazard's VA, Conor McLeod) Hazard grew up in a bad home, worked his way up to being part of the military, only for a freak accident to happen that caused him to nearly die and end up in basically full bandages and require a few prosthetic limbs. Despite the disaster, Commander Morrison (Soldier:76) and pretty much the rest of the system just ignored what had happened, turning him extremely anti-establishment. He went and found the hideout of the Phreaks, who are an underground group working to fight against the system (which wants them gone), and that's where he got all these prosthetics The phreaks end up getting a message from Moira (irish scientist lady that works at Oasis, where that big ferrofluid ball in the cinematic is) basically taunting them (or maybe inciting them? Moira's goals are weird and hard to judge), and so they decide to stick it to her and the system by going to Oasis, and taking the power of that big goo ball for themselves, which is what this cinematic shows He's not necessarily a _bad_ guy, he's also not really a _good_ guy. Entirely depends on your perception of someone who's anti-establishment (which personally I think is an extremely cool character) Also, as someone who plays the game: Holy shit Hazard is _extremely_ well-designed. Incredibly fun tank hero, fits in the game extremely well, wonderful personality, they hit the ball out of the park with him
so in the cinematic he's a burglar who sets off an alarm and then turns himself purple
i'm hollering lmaoo
Well, you can say they'll need a purple burglar alarm next time
KEKW
Scotlands drug problem extends into the virtual universe.
ya have to help me gie aff the muck
At least Demoman doesn't have that stereotype
It…tracks ;)
@@aceman0000099 alcohol is also a drug
Can't wait for Limmy to reveal that he's the voice actor
Fis feather would be ploud
Why’s your ed so round
Everyone will want "purple burglar alarm" as a voice line, but me personally, I want "WRONG WAY! down a one way street!!!"
Well... They did make a twitter post asking people what they want the VA to say as Hazard

I want either "Steel is heavier than feathers" or "what's heavier? A kilogram of steel, or a kilogram of feathers?"
@@BamboozledMS they can't go wrong with any limmy line tbf! :D
I want “Chocolate chooks.”
I want 'Twenty IS Plenty' towards any fast character 😁
can't wait for the kilt/bagpipes custom skin
Tam O'Shanter
Yes but unironically
Love that they make him a guy that looks 45, 300lbs and give him the voice of a 19 year old uni student
Can't believe they didn't get two time Scottish Bafta Winner Brian Limond to do the voice.
I need Limmy to react to Meet the Demoman.
0:50 he instinctively does the deeper voice in English because of his secret filial awe and admiration of the English.
Aye, and everyone knows British is Best after all; masters of land and sea, and all it took was getting bent over by the French, the Normans, the Vikings, the Romans... worth
Hey hey we're the junkies, people say we monkey around.
We're too busy jaggin, to bring anybody down.
hahahahhahaa
"Haz... this place is CRAWLING with English!"
"fuckin get that lot shat on"
Insane call on the bagpipes! I'm a composer and didn't even pick up on that, lol
Yay. It's got a character with a Scoddish accent. Yay. That's like pure bampot. Yay.
Hahah Such Banter!
Wee jimmy krankie and a pot o' whisky! Hawkeye the noo
We need either a Kill jester voiceline or kilogram of steel voiceline
He should react to the gameplay reveal.. So many gems
And Meet the Demoman.
"the best defense? stabbing"
Nonono, he doesn't inject himself with the mystery subject! His friend does it for him!
Honestly I’ve been playing this hero over the weekend and this is the first time in a while I’ve enjoyed playing as a tank.
he should have an EMP ability where he says "take that electricity"
Leccy would be better instead of electricity, who has time for all those syllables
He needs a medic so he says "help... Ma health is in the 45%, doc"
Im glad it’s not just me that thinks the voice is quite high for how big hazard is
I snorted when I realized the point he was making about the injections. Proper Scottish welcome, ey.
Having played the character, one of his voice lines is "The best defense is stabbing" 😂
The actors name is Conor McLeod which sounds like a pen name to me, there can be only one
They should've got Ronald Villiers from Chewin' The Fat.
Five guys called Mei
As long as there's a skin wi' a raging stauner, I'm in
I blame Trainspotting for the drug cliches.
He was surprisingly positive about this! I thought he'd go off on a 20 minute rant about scottish character depictions in the media!
we only know about trainspotting over here
They said they will add a Scouser support hero too
Immediate solo-ult target
I thought it was disgusting that they heal their teammates by stealing health from enemies.
I'm laughing already one minute in. 😂
hes aun the spice
Would be more realistic if the character was a vagrant shouting at passing cars
Yeah, the country that brought you fiber optics, the television, antibiotics, waterproof coats, the steam engine and MRI scanners... We're all just silly wee vagrants
Where's Mel Gibson when you need him
probably screaming at someone
The game is very pro jewish. That tells you all you need
Looks like a classic Scottish white van driver to me

omg i didnt notice the bagpipes until you pointed it out ~ thats actually a cute touch
Bit tacky
Yeah it's not cute.
It's like playing the 'the oriental music' when an Asian is on screen
A great big scottish welcome
you should've watched the "Storytime" video, voice actor reads' character storyline.
As long as someones mad about something thats overwatch
You have to watch the comic where the voice actor reads all the lines!!!
Hazard Voice actor reacts to new Hazard character
McHazard
Honestly I like that better
He has quite a few scottish in game voicelines like barry, bahookie, etc.
if you havent yet react to the story video they released for him. They have more scottish phrases in it.
I think he does say "laddie" in game sometimes
The situation is imperative
About as inoffensive as it can get and he still manages to be outraged by it
hes raging because its inoffensive
That's the joke. He's not really bothered lol
it does sound like a teenager tbf
Now yer getting it.
Good. We need more outrage over milquetoastness.
Hope he reacts to the voice lines showcase
He looks like he would talk like sledge from r6 but he sounds like he's age 6
Would have been better if they used advertising for this - injected with Buckfast and then the wee 'gay' Edinburgh voice went full Glesga nasal Ned.
How am I supposed to play him not knowing if he likes the colour green or blue….
has limmy ever reacted to Horizon from Apex Legends?
Trainspotting really fucked over Scotlands image for generations
He needs to react to Lillia from League of Legends
That fuckin' voice man!
He looks more cyberpunk 2077 than overwatch
Isn't that just overwatch
@@moleedaboi Yep, it's crazy how many people don't know cyberpunk is a whole genre, which the game is named after lol
No swear words on a Scottish character is a real missed opportunity :(((
None of the heroes swear sadly, lol but fair

yet the voice actor isnt scottish
He is. Is this a bit?
