    Thank you for explaining why you were using the sewing thread. I was hoping you’d explain when I saw them sitting there at the beginning of the video because I was told only to use embroidery thread for embroidery. Your videos are really great!

    Not sure if you mentioned in the video yet (not a minute in) but do you have a video or reference about converting your own design into digital work to get produced? I’m new to embroidery and I’m a architect and graphic designer and really would love to create my own designs vs paying for the ones on Etsy and etc. thank you !

    You are right about the manufacturer wanting you to be educated through them. I had a commercial machine and sold it, because i couldn't afford to fly out and pay for class. I have this machine now. You will need to buy embroidery thread for this one.

      That's the downside about the business, the machine dealers aren't in every city to make traveling easier. I'm glad you found an alternate option to keep the craft going! Btw, I'm able to use regular AND embroidery thread in this machine due to the way I create my files. It's been working great 😎

    Maybe the size of the eye of the needle is part of the breakage problem. Maybe try a brand of embroidery needle with a larger eye? The higher speeds of this new machine and the rapid direction changes are breaking threads when older machines with slower speeds did not.

    I've been thinking about buying this as my next machine as my current just broke. What caused it to sew the jump stitch and does that mistake happen often?

    • @sarahbauer5593
      @sarahbauer5593 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sometimes the design sews in an area that will be covered by another embroidery stitch group. This accepts the first stiches as understiching, which acts as an anchor for the top stiching.

      I went into detail about it in this video: th-cam.com/video/uB9KFTybYKI/w-d-xo.html | Quick answer: The SE1900 is better amzn.to/2GfLiSa

    • @shawnwalker7027
      @shawnwalker7027 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the feedback and The reference video! I had a feeling the the SE 1900 was up there with it, if not better! I haven’t used either one but based on my research they look similar, Except, the SE1900 has the sewing capability as well and it’s a little cheaper now! So I am definitely looking into purchasing the SE1900, especially, with your expert recommendation; And I’m trying to get a player deal like you my brother! How much you pay for that thang?😂

    My needle breaks every time i try to embroider do u have any ideas why?

    • @sarahbauer5593
      @sarahbauer5593 ปีที่แล้ว

      You should change needles after about 4 to six hours based on stitches per minute speed you are embroidering. I go up to 1050 spm and change needles also based on thickness of material. If I am quilting in the hoop, I change the needle about every hour.

    • @NeverDenyMe
      @NeverDenyMe  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Sure thing! I digitize with the knowledge that it will be stitched using embroidery thread. But when I stitch designs myself I know when I can or can't alternate the threads; based on the details in the design.
