Awesome vid My wife and I are planning on getting an embroidery machine and this vid is right to the point!! muchas gracias y saludos desde Puerto Rico!
EMT Melco gang. My trainer was a little sour I got a machine so young, but he taught me a ton of tricks that I still use today. Melco was great for me. Should have used my customer support more
Awesome! Just what I needed. I'm a quilter looking to add monogramming, words, and embellishments to applique projects. I have viewed several videos over the last 2 days, and yours is the best. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge.👍🏾💯👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I’ve watched this series, I’ve determined I don’t need a multi needle, I just need the open head. Like you said all machines embroider but were limited with hooping, getting into sleeves, pant legs. Something new to research.
Hello Angela!!! I am looking to start a new busines in embroidery and I am very happy that this the first video I bumped to while searching. Thank you for all the information you are sharing with us, I appreciate it. Nothing but love, all the from South Africa.
In your opinion what is the best baby lock, melco or brother embroidery machine that is not overwhelmingly expensive that you can recommend? The hoops that you use do they only work on the melco machines?
I would like to embroider. I wonder if there is a place for me in the market. I thought I was so original, but there are people doing all the things I've thought of
Well, to go into business, you don't need to have a revolutionary or special product. Since that's a very difficult path to immediately start trail blazing, it might be better to build on top of what others have, not ripping off their designs of course, but maybe finding your own niche. For instance, start embroidering anagrams, sayings, verses, maybe even generic stock designs you've picked up thru free methods or some w/ cheaper license fees that you can use to deliver. Well, now you can use this as a basis to get yourself started, then can start experimenting w/ your own designs or maybe just branch off into higher production. This business is similar to the CNC machining business in lots of ways, most of the big money will be in producing products using designs that your customers give you. If you know how to vector out the designs, then you can offer the customer that as an option, so they can free up their own ppl for other tasks, etc, etc. Of course, this is assuming you want to go that far into commercial stuff. I know it's CNC machining, but I recommend looking up Titans of CNC & watching some of Titan's podcasts or his videos where he explains more about the business side of things. He was a street fighter, inmate for 15yrs, then got into machining & turned his life around & has one of the biggest shops in Texas & has made parts for SpaceX, Boeing, NASA, the DoD, etc. He's all about educating the future of manufacturing, which embroidery is very much a part of; CNC machines use G-code, which basically what these embroidery machines use as well. Hope this helps! Find out what you can deliver to your customers that your competition can't or isn't.
honestly working construction a lot of people i work with have social medias there making money off of now they want to start clothing brains. on top of the companies i work for they need company hats and shirts. so something like this would be smart to get into
Hi Angela, many years ago I was in this ladies house and she had the most beautiful piece of wall art. It was embroidered zodiac signs all in one long row in a frame. She said her mum embroidered it. Is this something you could do?
Angela I just bought the Bernina e16 pro. What accufeed would I use for 1 layer of cotton and stabilizer to meet design density. I do appliques for quilting. I wasn't able to do the onsitr training due to my work sched. My thread breaks. Do u have any quick tips. No I do only for my enjoyment
Can you make a Rocker Patch for like vest and leather jackets on a brother. I just want to make my own patches at home. Not looking to start a business. Thank you
Would it be unwise to buy a used machine? What kinds of things would make someone sell a machine if it’s still working well? Can the machines be adequately refurbished? Thank you so much for the information.
I would like to go in the logo business please advise of the best machine. Also, if a small business wishes to print their name on staff shirts with there logo which machine is best to purchase in this case?
Hi, thank you for all your videos. They are really helpful, but they have also guided me in a direction of getting a Melco machine instead of some of the other ones I've seen. With that said what are your thoughts on the Amaya XT certified pre owned for $7000.00 . Also, I did let Melo know that you were the reason why I decided to go with one of their machines so thank you again. But I really value your opinion on what you think about this purchase for me and my start up business. Thank you in advance.
Perfect timing. We just started out. Got Brother PR600 right now and it works fine but looking to upgrade before it craps out while project is due. I don’t even have first sell yet. Going thru learning curve. I’ll look Melco. Would you recommend Bravo or EMT? PS: nice video of you on Melco site.
Hello! love your channel already! I'm starting my small business embroidering t-shirts. using logos with 2-3 colors. which machine can you recommend? Brother SE700 or Brother PE900 Embroidery. I was thinking of using a budget of 500-800$ for the machine itself
@@AngelaJasmina great idea. Thank you for all the sharing you do! I am inspired by you to keep trying to build my embroidery business to become a full time job! 💕
Thank you sooo much Angela! So much great information in this video! I think you talk fast maybe because you have ADHD like me!!1. I can’t seem to slow down either! At least that’s my excuse!!!
You can talk the speed you want since youtube already made a button so you can decrease the speed or increase it depending on the video you are watching
I love your videos. I just decided to Subscribe to your channel. I am a Grandma. I wished I was much younger, so that I could get into all of this. I do have an Embroidery Machine with the one needle. I have always wanted to see if, I could Embroider on a T-shirt. I just purchased from your AJ Blanks a few Baby Jumpsuits to try out. I have two Etsy shops, and one is dead, so maybe I can change over to some Embroidery in one of my shops. I have always wanted to have the 16 Needle Machine, but I can't go into debt for it. I will work on my one needle machine and see how it goes. Do I need some kind of certificate to do Machine Embroidery for clothes online? I don't know where to get it. Please give me advice.
@@AngelaJasmina my wife got a pe900 a couple months ago and I told her she should start offering stuff as a side hustle and it’s only been a few weeks since then and things have really taken off and it’s hard to keep up. I was looking at the PRS100 because we have a ton of people asking for hats but is it worth the extra money to go up to a 6 needle? Its just something she does on the side so not sure if it’s worth going up to a 6 needle and buying one used scares me because idk if it’s going to be in good shape or not
