Totally agree with you positive comments on bullying in the community. Some people aren't as fortunate as others. I have thought of starting a small business myself and I'm nearly 60! Love detailing, therapeutic, I had a man in his 70's inspire me to clean, shine and show my car! Life in an old dog yet.

Mate, I have to say we'll done for everything you do. I find the same that the keyboard warriors out there are horrible to people starting out. You described me down to a tee, 2 yes ago I was off to the woods to take my life, thankfully something happened and my 3 kids still have me today. However detailing gives me focus and when I'm down really lifts me up. So just setting up part time detailing and love it. Seeing people, having a chat brings more back to focus. Top man great stuff!!! Stay safe cheers Paul

@@epicautomotivedetailing I don't mind you asking at all Dave, sadly my normal job is high pressure in the emergency services then one day a particularly twisted soul said something that destroyed me. Thank you. I actually don't mind the thumbs down because it means I must be doing something right for someone to feel that they need to give it a thumbs down. It all helps the youtube algorithm so it's all cool
Love this video mate....and glad you addressed the toxicity within the 'community' ....too many times seeing it around. I think people are fearful when someone new starts it. I have been speaking to a dude from Norwich and he started last year with little experience and is smashing it now. Personally for me...I was on a entrepreneur s Facebook group and mentioned about setting up a business and then someone got down my throat about mentioning detailing and saying it's a hard game etc and not to call myself a detailer if I don't know how to machine polish etc....which I do day in day out etc ..then I realized his is in the same city as me....territory wars coming 😂😂😂 Top class video mate...made me laugh as well
Yeah thats the worst one. think the world is now coming up with class structures like , hand car wash , car valeter , then detailer at the top. And the problem is a small amount of detailers use their status to put others down. Massive respect to anyone starting up now
Hi Dave, another great video,I have used these products from Poundland,it was glass cleaner and spray wax, even though they weren't not bad stuff to use.
Excellent video, love how you're detailing the smax. What a brilliant bus to be working on, I love mine its the 2.0 tdci 6 speed manual bullet proof and the smoothest drive ive ever been in absolutely love it!

A much anticipated video, and well worth the wait. I have often wondered how those cheap products would stand up. Regarding your comments on the Billy Big dicks of the detailing world, you're absolutely right. There are some prize pricks out there, so we'll done for raising the issue. Looking forward to the next one Dave.
Hi bro I just want to say I’m really proud of all you’ve achieved and especially with this TH-cam channel I really hope it continues to grow into something even bigger You’ve got this keep being awesome Also the message at the end hit home lots of people are going through things in life in general it’s not easy sometimes and support can sometimes make a huge difference to someone’s life. There is no place in this short life for toxic people causing hurt to others who are already going through personal struggles The video cheered me up I love you all 💙
That 355 F1 Ferarri is gorgeous in that blue color. Hard to believe that car is over 20+ years old. That car still looks modern in 2021. It has stood the test of time.
Great content and nice editing. Washing/detailing a car in the rain.....that’s epic! I use the interior foam valet cleaner on soiled carpets plus their plastic scowlers for my exhaust tips. 😎

@@epicautomotivedetailing - It was your Ultimate Price Guide video - which was really great and extremely useful. 🤩 I didn’t have any kind of intentions when clicked on it, just the thumbnail and the title got me curious and wanted to hear your thoughts... I mean I am not setting a business up at the moment - because of the current climate that we are experiencing nowadays. 😊 I am not a detailer (despite of that some of my viewers think that), I am just making my videos as a hobby and passion, to make videos what I always wanted to watch (or kind of...), asking friends for their cars and cleaning them for free, just for the videos; it makes them, my wife and I happy. I just love cleaning cars. Can’t help it. It’s coming from my heart and started doing it when I was only a few years old little boy. I am a full time bus driver right now (that’s why I can’t produce lots of videos, due to the lack of free time), but one day I’d love turn my passion into a full time business and that’s the reason why your video got me curious. 😊 Also I had many people’s interest in the past, they wanted to get their cars done by me, but some thought I can get the cars done in 1-1,5 hours and get those results - because “my video was 30 minutes long”; or had those people who wanted to spend very little money and get the results, also get more and more, and so much more, 2 years protection, wheel coatings, scratch removals, dent removals, window coatings, etc... Basically you explained everything properly and you’ve experienced everything - sadly! 😅 I just said to them similar things that you said - if they want to pay that much, they can find someone else to do the job, as I am not willing to give my name for something which is not matching my own expectations of my own work, that level of detail/service what I’d expect from myself and the valeters by Tesco/Asda and those famous guys “down the road” would happily wash&hoover their cars in 20 minutes for £20. It was so nice to hear you believe in the same! 🤩 I am hoping that things will get better and improve a lot very soon, I’ll have more time to work on cars and videos, my channel will start growing as more people will discover it and I believe one day will be my day! 🤩
@@HypnotizinDetailz thank you. That's interesting to hear mate. Doing this for a business is so different to doing your own car as a hobby. Those days where you get through 6-7 cars in a day can really take it out if you. Well happy you found the channel 🙏
production level is getting better every time! one question for the community please: my Gyeon wash mitt scratched my black paint and yes it was properly used, has happened to any of yous?
@@epicautomotivedetailing I spent 2 days of paint correction and then all the hood scratched. I live near a farm where each day the wind deposits red dust on the car. Could a blower be a solution or waste of money? I have an slk amg 172 thanks
@@epicautomotivedetailing I live on a new build and my my car is constantly covered in dust. I normally snow foam and then clean, but would a blower be a good idea? Thanks!
@@MuscleFlexPro I live on farm too mate. Blowers very valuable mate. But at the end of the day most cars live outside so as long as the car looks great once I finished cleaning it I'm happy
I was impressed with your car cleaning tests of Poundland gear (I would never use any of that on my car) but the end part was superb, well said. I subscribed due to this.
Absolutely spot on there at the end. I like using a drying blade on my cars. But the big boys ripped me a new one for using it and say it scratches your paint. Iv used it for years and I honestly can't see any issues that it's caused. Do you recon you could do a video on this subject?
Ok so to be honest it will potentially cause scratches. That's just a fact but it's on a microscopic level. So over time yes it will ruin the cars paint. However not everyone values their cars in the same way. For example I have an old s max. No way would I ever worry about how I clean it because it's just an old run around car. So sadly a few members of detailing groups laugh because they just like to make others feel small. I see it daily.
AT LAST , we'll done Dave quality editing and great products lmao. Your right it don't have to cost a fortune just like our cars. Nothing wrong with poundland or Citroens lol and as for the haters, well stuff em. That was polite . Good content mate and can't wait for the Essex Harrods, B&M product reviews
I used the Poundland snow form today, and have to disagree with your findings. I found it to do a good job I used my pressure washer and sponged over it and the results were pretty good the windows came up gleaming and the paintwork was Streak free with a nice shine. Also I've used there back to black spray for 5 yes now and always found it to be good well complaints with it it lasses a good few washer. It's better than the turtle Wax black in flash.
Fair play my friend glad you liked it. I mean I shouldn't complain it costs a quid and in theory it's not a snow foam but high foaming shampoo so the biggest issue was the confusion it may cause. I love the foam interior cleaner 👌
I was struggling for a while with products to take the caked in break dust off my alloys and could not find anything to get it off, whether it was halfords alloy wheel cleaner or a specialised bleeding wheels nothing worked except the pink stuff in the tub it was amazing considering it cost only 1.50€
Fantastic video Dave! The final segment is especially true! The industry is very clicky, same friends same brands in the same forums, sometimes new people don't stand a chance. Yes it may be a silly question but we all started with 0 knowledge and built up from that, the beauty of this industry is the constant innovation and trying new products. Keep doing what you love and do not listen to the naysayers. To anybody reading this comment no question is a silly question and our team is always on hand to answer them, so please call, email or get in touch via social media!
Yeah I've never had a pop at anyone for asking a question. it's so rude and if I will find a way to bring something positive to the table for people starting out
Love these videos especially as I use some products myself not the chemicals but I like when you can find them the sponges with the chenille covering on them.

Great video Dave, loved the look of your face when your dad sparked up the pressure washer as you were talking to camera🤣 spot on at the end, some people really need a reminder that it's nice to be nice to someone. 👍🏻
Thanks Paul, Hes that annoying in real life lol. In all seriousness i actually had fun making this one
Great video mate!! Love your talk at the end, it’s absolutely spot on. I lost my job due to covid and I’d been valeting families cars for years so I thought why not try and start my own business so that’s what I’ve done, it’s helped me massively with my mental health and confidence, your videos gave me the push I needed to start it and it’s the best thing I’ve ever done. Well done for you talk, can’t stand the ‘know it all’s’

Respect mate. You and your dad have provided much of the entertainment for the last 5 hours. Also, I've cleaned the house from top to bottom. So thanks for the inspiration ☺️
5 hours wow, thanks so much 🙏 I'm very grateful
Very emotive and meaning full conclusion, I fully agree, there is too much hate in this world, it only takes the same effort to be kind, everyone should bear this in mind.
Thank you Katie, all i can say is Share the message. Im by no means big but hopefully this message will get across to as many people as possible
My dad is 60 and still comes out car cleaning with me on the odd job. He struggles a bit but then again hes never done any form of fitness lol

loved the last bit of the video ! also love your personality and videos ! ahahah that bit with the foam xD
Thank you 🙏
Mate, I have to say we'll done for everything you do.
Hi Paul, Im honestly glad you didnt do anything bad that day. Your worth so much more to this world. It is rewarding to see a car complete when you put effort into it. Hope you don't mind me asking but Was it other people who made you feel like that?
@@epicautomotivedetailing I don't mind you asking at all Dave, sadly my normal job is high pressure in the emergency services then one day a particularly twisted soul said something that destroyed me. I now have started to do part time very much inspired by you and everyday detailing...only thing I would love would be some paper work to use ie checking vehicles for previous damage etc. I have the insurance and doing everything correctly. People should never be afraid to ask for help with their feelings especially us macho blokes lol.

Some people can’t get through the day without being arseholes to someone. Only thing to do is ignore the fxxkers and listen to guys like you. Appreciate all the help and advice you provide and the time you take to give it.
Personally for me...I was on a entrepreneur s Facebook group and mentioned about setting up a business and then someone got down my throat about mentioning detailing and saying it's a hard game etc and not to call myself a detailer if I don't know how to machine polish etc....which I do day in day out etc ..then I realized his is in the same city as me....territory wars coming 😂😂😂
Top class video mate...made me laugh as well
Yeah thats the worst one. think the world is now coming up with class structures like , hand car wash , car valeter , then detailer at the top. And the problem is a small amount of detailers use their status to put others down. Massive respect to anyone starting up now
Great video, discovered you about two weeks ago, now my go to for advice detailing channel...thank
Thank you
Hi Dave, another great video,I have used these products from Poundland,it was glass cleaner and spray wax, even though they weren't not bad stuff to use.
Yeah I liked the glass cleaner and the foam interior one was great
Great work, you even had the boy laughing 😂... Think il be swerving the poundland range though....

Well done sir, this one made me smile and gave me a few laughs. Very entertaining. Also sometimes cheap isn't always bad, but ... this ... well when are you going to do Wilkos, aldi and Lidl own brands? lol Halfords own brands have won awards, as well as being cheap. Some top tips in there as well. Good job :)
Got poundshop.com products ordered 😬
Well done mate and definitely well said you don’t know what’s going on with some people and most of all great to see your dad back again, just to let you and your know my wife had surgery last week and is home now very weak and emotional but she’s home, and like you said I have some very down days and go and clean my car, because it helps me just switch off and forget all the crap we are going through, I would love to do this for a living, maybe one day, anyway I’ll stay with Autoglym well done you 🙏👍
Thanks Andrew. Honestly i wish the detailing community groups would end all this bickering and just support each other. Well its only a small portion but its worrying to see it getting larger. Hope your wife is ok mate

Hi, just found your channel and subbed,, I'm not a detailer, simply a keen car cleaner, lol.
Have you any tips for removing make up finger prints from exterior door pillars, (matt black).?
Would auto glym tar spot remover be OK, ?

Just found your channel by one of your videos popping up in my feed - You have a very-very nice and professional channel; congratulations!!! 👏🏻😊👊🏻
Amazing that's so cool to see. Which video was it? Wish more people knew 🙂
@@epicautomotivedetailing - It was your Ultimate Price Guide video - which was really great and extremely useful. 🤩
I didn’t have any kind of intentions when clicked on it, just the thumbnail and the title got me curious and wanted to hear your thoughts... I mean I am not setting a business up at the moment - because of the current climate that we are experiencing nowadays. 😊
I am not a detailer (despite of that some of my viewers think that), I am just making my videos as a hobby and passion, to make videos what I always wanted to watch (or kind of...), asking friends for their cars and cleaning them for free, just for the videos; it makes them, my wife and I happy. 😊
Also I had many people’s interest in the past, they wanted to get their cars done by me, but some thought I can get the cars done in 1-1,5 hours and get those results - because “my video was 30 minutes long”; or had those people who wanted to spend very little money and get the results, also get more and more, and so much more, 2 years protection, wheel coatings, scratch removals, dent removals, window coatings, etc... Basically you explained everything properly and you’ve experienced everything - sadly! 😅
I just said to them similar things that you said - if they want to pay that much, they can find someone else to do the job, as I am not willing to give my name for something which is not matching my own expectations of my own work, that level of detail/service what I’d expect from myself and the valeters by Tesco/Asda and those famous guys “down the road” would happily wash&hoover their cars in 20 minutes for £20. It was so nice to hear you believe in the same! 🤩
I am hoping that things will get better and improve a lot very soon, I’ll have more time to work on cars and videos, my channel will start growing as more people will discover it and I believe one day will be my day! 🤩
@@HypnotizinDetailz thank you. That's interesting to hear mate. Doing this for a business is so different to doing your own car as a hobby. Those days where you get through 6-7 cars in a day can really take it out if you. Well happy you found the channel 🙏
5:22 I tried that duster for wheel cleaning and the stick disconnected from the thing
Yeah that probably would happen lol. Definitely not a wheel wooly
production level is getting better every time! one question for the community please: my Gyeon wash mitt scratched my black paint and yes it was properly used, has happened to any of yous?
Thank you so much! sometimes even the finest bits of grit can get picked up, Also too much pressure can cause those fine hazy marks
Thanks!
@@matc21 YEs or air compressor or even a leaf blower
@@MuscleFlexPro I live on farm too mate. Blowers very valuable mate. But at the end of the day most cars live outside so as long as the car looks great once I finished cleaning it I'm happy
I was impressed with your car cleaning tests of Poundland gear (I would never use any of that on my car) but the end part was superb, well said. I subscribed due to this.
Thank you very much my friend 🙏
Thanks mate, yeah I'm eyeing up more bargain product videos lol
Top review as always 😉 nice touch at the end mate, help other to help yourself, will make eveyone happy in the end.

Thanks Keith. Wasn't a scientific one but i just wanted to focus on the content more. Imagine if i got out the gloss meter for these products lol
@@epicautomotivedetailing good god NO gloss meter i live in the real world, not bubble wrapped cars. 😉thanks for taking the time to uploading 👍
Well said Dave, and that glass cleaner is Good tho next time going to try your way. Thanks for putting up the Poundland video. Keep them coming.
Thanks Mark. This just makes me want to make more non-scientific content and focus on making videos that people may just enjoy
