- Yep we are building the doorstep Jeep Gladiator on TH-cam. Mods have begun! Ok fellas, I promised you that I would show you how to make an UGLY Jeep Gladiator look like a champ right? Well here is the BIGGEST mod that you have to do on a 2020 Jeep Gladiator for it to look decent, and that is BIG WHEELS and BIG MUD TIRES.
I went with 17x9" Wheels by Dirty Life, thanks to the inspiration from Gladiator Gang - / @gladiatorgang
For tires I went with the VERY POPULAR NITTO Ridge Grapplers in a size 33x12.5 which is the diameter and width of the tires. Loving them so far!
As bonus we also added running boards on the sides / side steps to give it that finished look.
Next up, we need a lift and maybe a re-gear to get the pep back into the step!

Fok! Those wheels and tires look great on Triumph! Better looking than I expected tbh! Very aggressive style of wheels and some serious tread on those tires make look tough. I love the color you picked as you can see the style pattern of the wheels. You wouldn't be able to see it as well if they were all black. I'm not an off road vehicle expert by any means, but the height looks pretty good to me. The running boards really finish off the look. Actually, those running boards look like something that should have been factory standard equipment included from Jeep. I really do have to say that just these 2 mods you have done, really makes Triumph look like a totally different vehicle! You really did have the foresight of what this Jeep could look like even before you bought it. Glad to see that the Green Goblin is back. I guess Mike from Auto Vlog didn't buy it? That's positive news for Tori! :) I am hoping you made a vid with Mike and picking up his Ferrari?

I have a Rubicon Gladiator and that gobbled up 37's with zero issue/rubbing on the stock suspension and 17x9 -12 offset.
I hear people always say if you buy new tires and rims let Discount Tires put them on. They won’t mess up your rims

I have to give you full credit for going with a 17” wheel. Absolutely disgusting when people throw 20”+ wheels on a vehicle designed to go off pavement. I’d have gone 35 on the tires, but can respect that you don’t want to lose performance.
I like the stock running boards, you're right on how they line up perfectly with the fender flares. You choice of rims and tires, you like what you like but me I would've went with a lighter bigger rim with a smaller size off road tire.
Usually bigger rims are heavier. I think 19s would look dope.
37s and never look back. Clayton overland 2.5 and 37s with the Rubicon flares.

33's are perfect for the daily driver in my opinion, looks beefy, and adds some off road ability with out over doing it. I want to buy one slap a set of 33's on with 2" lift with manual sway bar disconnect.

It looks sweet! The bigger tires give it mo' swag. Now it almost looks like a mini Hummer jeep. When you hook up the fender flares it will have even mo' swag. Now you can go ol' school and turn it into a low rider. lol

35x10.50x17 on stock wheels. No lift, no rub, no trimming fenders.

No lift Will cause you have both the off-road look as well as the low profiling look. Plus keeping it lower means better handling which will come in handy when driving at high speeds on windy days.

I'm a Jeep guy Will. Currently 94' Wrangler w/4" lift and big wheels/tires, and a 17' Grand Cherokee stock. Past? OMG too many to list, CJs, J-10 pickups, Cherokee S. Bottom line: it looks good just like that! Don't lift it, not even a front leveling lift. Don't go bigger tires, those will ride nice and the size looks killer.

Will stop disrespecting that Jeep with those little socks and shoes. If you were to show up at a Jeep event would that stand out amongst the others or get lost in translation? It's cute but your name is Will Motivation! You have 3 Lamborghinis in your garage bro. You have to have the Big Boy Jeep in the driveway. To increase the power you can start off with the Hypertech React Throttle Optimizer. Then Exhaust and Cold Air Intake. That should cover your power issues but you could always add boost also. Come on Will it's called a Jeep Gladiator! At least one more inch on the rims but three would set it off and a little lift also. Also the wheel visualizer program lets you see what your vehicle looks like with the rims and tires before you purchase so you actually know what size rims and tires look the best.

35's w/ a terra flex 1-2 inch leveling kit, thats all you need , it will not compromise steering, driving, brake line, etc. components

My gladiator 80th anniversary has 18" wheels, 255 size tire, 31" . I ordered 275 33", they are E rated tires. Do you think ill feel a big difference with the torque ass you were mentioning off the line, etc. Thanks for your thoughts in advance

I got some grapplers, love those tires! Personally wouldnt do the bronze w/ a grey paint job but legit to each his own. If you love it then you did great my guy! Level kits on these Gladiators do them justice but a 3-4in lift always looks solid on any jeep (besides the compass of course lol).
