Obviously a car like that can't race, since it's basically sabotaging whoever comes behind, producing the worst race possible (if people complain that F1 doesn't have enough overtakes, imagine with that...), which is why fan cars were already banned in the 70/80s. However, it could be extremely cool to have one of them run a few laps to clean track before the race itself. That would make the first laps much safer and with more overtakes! Plus the public would love to see it.
NASCAR sometimes drive around a truck with a jet engine strapped to the back to clear the track. That would probably have come in useful for clearing the track of water during Spa a few years back where it got rained off If you had fan cars in F1 you’d probably have a regulation that means the output got shot straight upwards, to avoid affecting aero as much as possible on the following car. Maybe with no traffic and 100% of power is will close to the pole lap of verstappen last year
Track looked dusty. With better conditions, no traffic and full power it can get way lower than that 1:40... Maybe a 1:35?! Seems to me the tires are also limiting it's cornering performances.
It also has a vacuum sucking it to the ground and blowing the air out the back. So that's part of the reason for the extra dust
at 80% its only 10s slower than 2023's f1 lap ppace record 😲
No overtaking, just passing by
What is previos record time?
Mercedes W11 1:24:303

The sound It's so depressing, that you have to put music replacing the combustion engine sound😅😅😅
= 100% power/downforce, faster than LMP1/F2
I've watched this ten times i think>
Areo management and so flat! want!!!
Can’t even imagine what it’s like seeing this coming in the mirror hahahaha
And now 100% without traffic 😊
How many laps can car and driver withstand?
Car is what....battery limited, the driver is fitness limited, either way, it would provide maybe 10 laps of blistering speed fun. What does Formula E do?
@@Twinfire Formula E brings good racing.
It must take the driver some adjusting to accept just how fast the car can actually go round corners...
And we still have my friend who says ev sucks
X1 come to life...
2020 Hamilton 1,24,303. And 1,27,093 in the race verstappen.2023 1,26,702 max verstappen
I mean F1 teams spend millions and millions of dollars a year designing their cars to be fast both on a single lap and also over 50. This is a time attack car designed to go fast for 1 lap. And the F1 car is still miles quicker. So you can’t even compare them in the same sentence imo.
Creo que el trazado es diferente para F1
This is not a car this is a low flying UFO
The editing makes it look kinnda 🐟
Will the Speirling beat the 919 Record at Ring?
Lmao!!!! Omg that is so awesome. 👏
F16 with downforce and tire
It is basically a vacuum cleaner on wheels🤣 still, brilliant engineering!
There is not way this can be used on a regular track day.. No idea where you use it if you buy one.
Its faster than a F1 right ?
this car eats GT3 cars for breakfast.. so fast... 😂😂😂
Well... pretty standard looking LMP2 speed. Anyway... good onboard
@@SonnyViceR well.. maybe LMP2 can try break the goodwood lap record made by mcmurtry.. who knows.. even faster..
They should have called it McNuts
