Any damage must be repaired within the break time. - **Car Recharging**: Strict rules for recharging times and methods between races. This is not a review of the car or the lap but advertisement for the car to potential buyers. I am not sure about this but isn't it much harder to create a fuel powered ICE that optimizes power with efficiency than it is to produce an electric motor? I think electric cars are the future for daily transportation, but the smells and sounds associated with racing is what generates the excitement in racing. I mean you can hear when an ICE is reaching max rpm but electric not so much. This car is powered by two electric motors and has a fan sucking air out from under the car creating ground effect.

Fantastic engineering BUT isn't one of the major drawbacks that the fan sucks up gravel etc. and spews it out the back? I wouldn't want to be behind that on a newly resurfaced road!

Nice but it doesn't count in my opinion. That car is a karting, or a 4 wheeler. You can't compare its lap vs a full size race car. Its like seeing a gixxer powered go kart beating a corvette at the drag strip.
