    My Mum had her Gall Bladder removed as a teenager. She takes digestive enzymes to help her break down fats in food as she can not produce the bile endogenously. It has helped her get healthier as she is now absorbing nutrients from her food.

    Know your situation and be very careful with HCL. If you have gastritis like I do that causes your heartburn, stay away from HCL until your lining is healed.

    If you'd like to see if you could benefit from taking digestive enzymes, cut up a fresh lemon and squeeze half of it into a glass of water, drink it 15 min prior to your meal and drink another cup of lemon water 15 min after the meal. If you digest your meal easier, feel less bloated, more clear headed, less tired, etc than normal, then you can probably benefit greatly from Enzymes. Bioptimizers is a great company (and hopefully the one MP is working with) that makes digestive enzymes, HCL, Magnesium, etc..

    • @stevennguyen4993
      @stevennguyen4993 2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      @@HamzaMalik-ez4ro Indefinitely. You produce enzymes in order to break down food. For a lot of people, adding MORE enzymes on top of what they produce helps them break down food fasted as it goes through their system.
      This is important for me, as I don't eat a lot. Me trying to gain weight is a problem because I can't increase my intake without experiencing bloating. At times, I even mix it with my calorie shakes, because those things are very nutrient dense. Things like lipase, protease, and amylase are mixed in with what I produce and help break things down at a much faster rate so they'll be available for absorption once they reach my smaller intestine.
      Think about it this way: people who experience lactose intolerance need to take lactaid every time they consume milk products. If not, one serving of ice cream on a bad day (or accidentally consuming a drink containing milk) is a painful and gassy experience for them.

    Save your money, folks. You’re better off just not drinking so much water either before or with your meals so your stomach acid doesn’t get too diluted. Have some apple cider vinegar (costs pennies) beforehand too.

      I agree with you from my own anecdotal experience. When I was drinking water within a half hour or during my meals, I was getting bad reflux. I would burp up chunks of food and my digestion suffered. I could tell because of the facial acne I was getting. Once I created separation from when I was eating and drinking, the reflux stopped and the acne went away.
