when you listen to older albums like this one, you have to understand that language was very different 22 years ago. ESPECIALLY in the area Eminem grew up in. the f slur was thrown around all the time and it was more of a general insult like "coward“ or something. The whole part about the guys in Lee Nails and the "Slim Anus" references are about the Insane Clown Posse after they released a disstrack called slim anus. they made an entire song dissing eminem and he destroyed them in half a verse😂

They blocked out a lawyers name. It was specifically blocked out to prevent the lawyer from suing, due to the lawyer representing people who wee known to have legal complaints against Em at the time. Don't know the actual name, but know that people have made references to that specific line over the years.

  • @radioactive_moose

blocked out in I'm Back "I take seven [kids] from [Columbine]: it was year after the massacre although he references it a lot on the album, not sure why this was the only time its censored
blocked out in Marshall Mathers = "Which is it bitch, Mrs. Briggs or Mrs. Mathers? It doesn't matter, [your attorney Fred Gibbs is a] f" : and the following lines were about him as well. Censored by label in fear of getting sued by him.

missing lyrics "I'll take 7 kids from Columbine" referring to the mass school shooting that kind of put school shooting in the national lime-light.
Also, this is the second song where he references Chrisopher Reeves. This was WAY before your time, but he's who we grew up being Super Man. He fell off of a horse playing Polo and got paralyzed. (so the "Slim, put down Christopher Reeves legs" since he's wheelchair-bound) In "Who Knew" he says " Christopher Reeves, Sonny Bono, skis, horses and hittin some trees" this adds Sonny Bono when he dies hitting a tree while skiing.
Missing Lyrics from Marshall Mathers song was cut for legal reasons, but in live concerts he's been recorded saying "your attorney Fred Gibbs is a faggot!"

Eminem was the epitome of "Free Speech" and what having the right to Express yourself whether your serious or joking is all about. This is why it made ZERO SENSE for him to get into Politics & attack Trump over something he believed he said. During that period is when he lost me as a fan, he threw in with the WOKE crowd & out of all people I never thought it would have been Eminem. I watched his first 4 albums come out & dominate the competition & the way he expressed himself is the way people do around there close friends when they want to air something out & know they are just airing it out. Its amazing how anyone who's benefited the most from Americas First Amendment could turn into an advocate for cancel culture. Eminem himself enjoyed a time where cancel culture didn't exist & ironically IF IT HAD, EMENIM WOULDNT HAVE EXISTED HIMSELF. Until he acknowledges his decision to team up with the Left & help destroy all the freedoms he profited off of I'm done with him. Back when Eminem started there were people working overtime to get him cancelled & they never succeeded which is another reason I never thought it would be him that would ally with those trying to destroy peoples constitutional rights. I know younger people may not understand this but if you were born 1985 or earlier you know exactly what I'm talking about.

And that pissed of so he fronted them a lot in that album. But honestly I kinda get his. Yes all this Eminem is great, but if you wanna talk real hip hop, you need to review Jadakiss, Styles P, & Sheek Louch. Collectively know as the Lox. You wanna talk bars? Jada is Top 5 all time, easily.

Cancel Culture was technically created by Millenials but Gen Z has embraced it more.
