Great insight from former Springbok Butch James on Rassie Erasmus' light system for goalkicking. The World Cup winner and former teammate of Rassie reveals he's been watching him do it for years! Alan Quinlan also shares his thoughts on it.

I wonder if half the time, the light switch is just for the sake of it and to confuse the opposition. In the presser, Rassi said the lights were injury signals. I wouldnt be surprised in the future to know that a match played out, lights were used, but they were dummy signals that had no bearing. All the while opposition time and event is focused on it. The finest margins
Personally I think rassie was strategic in this game going for the second place and play France. I believe we can beat them😊

Because that's the correct pronunciation? Everyone around him does it correctly? I mean, he doesn't *have* to I guess, but if everyone is doing it correctly and he chooses not to....
It's just weird, I thought the Irish were so PC with these kinds of things...(generalisation, I know but still).
And it's not like it's some really difficult to pronounce non-western surname or anything. I don't know...just thought I'd help the buddy out...spell it phonetically...make it a little easier. No biggie, though 🤷♂ 🙂
