I’ll start this off by saying I’m a sniper main with over 200 hours just as him, just like lazy said, he’s a very personal class that thrives when you’re thriving and paying attention. There’s like a few different ways to shoot and aim as sniper, lazy switched his main style from flick aim (which is inconsistent without muscle memory) to guitar hero aim (which is very consistent as long as you know the maps). Flick aim is exactly as he was doing, predicting the class movements and flicking your aim to where you think it’ll be and firing. It’s not consistent if you aren’t good at predicting and can leave you with over or under compensating the shot. Advice: this takes lots of practice and game sense, even a 2000 hour sniper isn’t so hot at it. Whenever I see myself doing this, I swap to either scout or soldier to retrain my aim because of their main weapons relying on flicking less. Guitar hero aim is essentially what he explained, waiting for the opponents to cross you line of sight and shooting when you have a target. Just like in guitar hero, you see the target come or in advance you press the fret before strumming hence the name. It’s very consistent but relies on your game knowledge and sense as well as your teams protection and your positioning. It’s very similar to fishing aim (hiding your dot and flicking to a head when you see it cross your sight line) but slightly different simply because guitar hero aim doesn’t rely on surprise and hiding the crosshair but just simply anticipating the opponents movements. It’s one of the first aim styles lots of snipers switch to but have a hard time with as TF2 is really chaotic, I’m not too good at this myself but a good way to train your aim for this is to play as heavy, demo, and scout as they rely on this aim style a lot as well. Fishing aim is just a better version of guitar hero aim, hiding your dot in a spot you think the enemy will come from and snapping to a head when it’s in your sight line then firing, especially useful in larger maps with some cover. It’s one of the first styles most snipers start utilizing quickly once they learn about it, my only advice for this one is to play often and take note of where the enemies come from or watch other TH-camrs who have good game sense (lazy himself, uncle Dane, and soundsmith come to mind) and take notes of what they talk about during rounds. Thanks for showcasing my favorite game to so many new people, I’m glad you enjoy playing it despite its many flaws! With love, a sniper main. And sorry it’s super long, like lazy said, there’s a ton of nuance with sniper but it’s also very personal nuance.
Sniper is an australian who got shot out of New Zealand like superman just before New Zealand broke down and landed in the yard of a rural australian family who decided to adopt him
A spy conga's and when you joined, he back stabbed you? That's bad manners, bro. that goes against the TF2 Gentalmann rules. never kill a taunting player. (unless it'll be funny) Same for killing Friendly Heavies. (except don't kill them and protect them)
13:00 to answer your question about the razorback, it is a single use item (you can get it back by returning to a resupply cabinet or die) that blocks one backstab from an enemy spy. As Snipers are usually scoped in, they get serious tunnel vision, making them easy targets for spy backstabs. Hope this helped.
potential reaction suggestion: Emesis Blue some others mentioned it before me in the live chat, and i agree that it would be a super interesting react! kind of a long one, though, seeing as it's pretty much a movie.
It would be real fun if you reacted to horror movie: emisis blue. It was absolutely amazing and done completely in source. I see quite a few of us asking for it so I hope it’s not getting annoying, but there really is a reason for the madness.
New sub gang!! Just binged a few TF2 reaction videos, its nice to see someone actually reacting to content the whole way through rather than just watching it and going "heh" every so often. Love from Dublin 🇮🇪🇮🇪 Edit : also, scout playing minecraft is from last vid, HIFTP Engineer 😎
Spy is French Scout is French-American (Spy is Scout's father and he grew up in Boston ,but Scout doesn't know Spy is his father) Soldier is American (From the Midwest) Demo is Scottish Engineer is Texan Heavy is Russian Medic is German and Sniper is born in New Zealand and was adopted by a couple of Australian
And Pyro... We don't even know if they are human, much less their gender or ethnicity. Heavy straight up doesn't consider them human, referring to them as "that *thing* "
Depends on more than just game sense/overall aim skill. Lazy's totally on point when saying he played better with a good nights rest. I hit more shots when I'm well rested, hydrated and have had a good meal, regardless of game.
super difficult . especially when you're up against a competent sniper on the other team . My advice would be to prioritize finding and sniping the other team's sniper before trying to pick off other classes . Try switching locations after sniping the enemy sniper since all snipers tend to have a grudge against their killer and snipe them to even the score .
8:02 If I remember the names of the cosmetics correctly, they are: Hunters Prize (The fox pelt) Max's Severed Head (The bunny ears) Catastrophic Companions (cats) All three painted Pink As Hell.
Playing Sniper in any game is far LESS about mechanics and far MORE about map knowledge and positioning. For Widowmaker on Temple Anubis 1st (for example), you're taking long as fuck sightlines where you can see the first chokepoint, but can dip behind cover and/or be given a Zen's harmony orb if your opponent tries to challenge you. If they go wide as fuck to try and flank you from second side, you can grapple over top of the point to the other side and not only are you able to cover where you used to be, but you have a sightline into the side room next to the elevated plateau, so you can one shot supports and DPS that are positioned behind the enemy tank, on the mega health pack. Sniping mechanics aren't especially hard either, you just HAVE to meet the baseline requirements, as you do nothing if you don't hit ANY headshots - while a Demo or Soldier will still get splash damage, Heavy can still weaken an enemy if they have subpar tracking and Engie will make whole areas dangerous for the opponent to enter (the Sentry's area denial functions as a slow sniper with limited range). It's why I never tell people to start new games with sniper characters - no matter how good their mechanics are, they won't have the map knowledge or gamesense to back it up.
About the medic at the start, the classes have special animations that play when dying to a headshot or demoman’s sword-like melees. Medic’s has his writhe back holding his face (or lack thereof) and falling forward. It was just cut short to keep tempo with the scene and music.
14:28 sniper is indeed from new Zealand but he grew up in Australia because a rocket ship from new Zealand he was on when he was a baby crashes in Australia so lots of people say he is from Australia. if you read the books/comics of tf2 you will understand.
Sniper was born in New Zealand, but raised in Australia. He was still a baby when he was shot into Australia with a rocket and landed on the property of his adoptive parents.
Sniper is from New Zealand (which in the world of TF2 sunk underwater, and sniper was a less than a year old son of a crazed professor who wanted to make a rocket ship to get back up to the ground but after getting in an argument with his wife as to who gets to survive and go to the surface baby Mun Dee (sniper's real name) climbs into the rocket by accident and falls in Australia where he gets adopted and named Mundy)
@@ChocolateKieran Think of Superman's status as an alien and a citizen of Earth and you'll be right on the money. But that's the least weird thing happening in Australia. Read up on the online comics for a recreation of the hyperborea meme.
Fun fact: The hat that the Scout is wearing at the beginning is Max’s Severed Head. Max is the Bunny/Lagomorph from Sam and Max and he appears in a Poker Game as a crossover with various other characters (Heavy being one of them). In both Night at the Inventory games, it was possible to obtain two items: Sam’s gun and Max’s head as gear. You cant get them now by normal means cause both games got delisted and if you see someone using it, it either means they have both games or they pay a huge amount of money for it in trade websites
13:42 For me I wasn't baited into a conga, it was an spray picture that changes when you walked closer to it. For those people with their minds in the gutter, it wasn't a girl who's clothes disappear, it was a more tame image. Back then I was more fascinated about the spray changing anc was wondering how it works.
12:51 It’s a possibility yes, but it’s not really practical since that just means your wasting shots on an unknown whereas the job is normally relegated to pyros because of ammo economy and the flamethrower’s aoe.
8:29 actually, be default, the sniper’s shots don’t reveal his position as he doesn’t have tracer rounds/visible lines in the same way that widowmaker does (aside from a couple of unlockable weapons with this as their downside) while the killcam still reveals your position, it will be at a slower rate than visible tracer rounds
Howdy, just to explain the whole Sniper thing: He was born in New Zealand but the country was about to sink into the ocean due to his father being dumb. So they ended up accidentally sending him in a rocket to Australia. (Accidentally because both of his parents would have rather saved themselves but the rocket only had room for one person). And when he landed in Australia he was raised by a nice couple there. That is why he is actually rather small for an Australian (in the context of TF2) he isn’t one by blood. In one of the comics when he realizes he isn’t from Australia he actually has a moment when he says, “that’s why I never wanted to brawl with any of the neighbor kids, I’d rather climb a tree and throw rocks at them.” (Probably not an exact quote, going off memory here).
Where is the "How it feels to Suffer", the extras and behind the scenes of "How it feels to play Engineer"? (from that video on, all classes has extras that you SHOULD react to)
3:23 To me, Scout is a good counter towards Sniper due to the scouts mobility from being able to double jump and being fast, with these two, he can dodge headshots if they're aware of an enemy sniper and are actively targeting them.
The bunny hat on scout was actually the severed head of max the bunny from a different game franchise. more information in this video (warning, not a rickroll but a very traumatic video where heavy declares his plans and makes a new hat): th-cam.com/video/dJGl1UYHAss/w-d-xo.html
Don’t sweat it if you don’t do well as sniper. It’s not an easy class. Oh. And that scout in the Minecraft scene is the one from the engineer HiF video
The Razorback blocks one backstab attempt. If a Spy backstab a Razorback, the Razorback itself will break and the Spy won't be able to attack or switch weapons for the next 2 seconds. The Razorback have a recharge time of 30 seconds, but you can also get a new one by going to the Resupply Locker in spawn. The Razorback also has a stat of preventing the Sniper using from getting overheal. That's because in Highlander (9v9 competitive game mode where each team has only one player of each class), the Razorback made the Sniper too oppressive. By standing near en Engineer nest and having a Medic pocket you, you'd invalidate both of Sniper's main counters : Spies and other Snipers. Spies couldn't backstab you, and shooting you when a Sentry watches your back is suicide. Meanwhile, the Medic overhealing you would give you 185 hp ; well above the 150 damage a quickscope headshot deals, which would normally kill a non-overhealed Sniper (125 hp). And usually, in Sniper vs Sniper, a quickscope is all you really have the time to do.
4:32 - 4:34 As a person who likes to play sniper class in most video games I am pretty good, it is both fun and not fun playing as that class mainly because killing a person when they don't expected from about as far away as possible is always funny, but crap gets real heated when one of these two things happen, first and the most likely thing to happen is a Sniper vs Sniper when two or more good snipers fight against each other it becomes the most epic thing anyone has ever witnessed, giving somebody an L or taking an L will either make your day or ruin your whole day... The second thing is when the game devs decide to Nerf the sniper rifle that One-Shots people for an example in Warface you have access to an Barrett sniper rifle the one that's made to shoot through tanks and let's be clear to get the sniper rifle that one shots is always very difficult no matter what game so them nerfing the sniper rifles is the equivalent of giving us a reskin of the default Sniper rifle now we have to try just as hard as we did when we first started the game all because some people with skill issues complained about weapon we use being "OP"
Snipin's a good job mate, challenging work, out of doors, gurantee you'll not go hungry, because at the end of the day as long as there's two people left on the planet, someone is gonna want someone dead.
I greatly suggest the EXTRA videos for his Sniper, Pyro and Demoman videos as they include even more for the game and not just behind the scenes content (especially for Pyro and Demoman as they include much more than their original videos).
3:24 Countering Sniper in TF2 is a pain. As such, I have recommendations. Scout: Sneak up on him and shoot him in the back, or if you're not JUST going for that sniper, I'd recommend the Wrap Assassin. Great for annoying him. Soldier: Sneak up on him or use the Charge Shot of the Cow Mangler, but not when they're actively sniping because you'll get your head taken off. Also feel free to spam rockets at them every once in a while, that 40 damage or so certainly does wonders on their morale. Pyro: Secondaries or sneaking up. Scorch Shot, Detonator, and Flare Gun are what I would recommend. Flare Gun is the one I usually have equipped but not for dealing with sniper, for SNIPER they deserve to suffer. Scorch Shot all the way they ain't dodging that one unless they get out Engineer: Sneak or Wrangler. Those are your only options. I'd suggest you DON'T fight snipers if you can get away with it. Medic: Sneak or Crossbow. Those are your only options. I'd _majorly_ suggest you DON'T fight snipers if you can get away with it Sniper: Dude why are you sniper... whatever, just click on their heads before they click on yours... Demo, Heavy, Spy: Sneak up on them or find a good place to snipe them if you can't get up close. (Demo can also use stickies to make sure they can't react) Anyways, as for sneaking up, snipers have a guaranteed 195 damage melee and also a NEARLY guaranteed 195 damage melee. That is to say... their stock melee has a VERY high random crit rate because of the amount of damage they deal. So even if you're up close, you're not safe. Sniper OP... *and you certainly know that when most bots are sniper* Pyro is the best choice if you're sneaking up. You can Airblast them and nullify literally anything they can do because they either have to shoot you in the head, which does 150 with no charge on the meter, and Pyro has 175 HP, or they have to melee you which isn't a smart play half the time. Also feel free to just have Shotgun on pyro when countering sniper. Eventually they'll learn and put on a gator's hide on their back which gets rid of 90% Fire damage or something, so... You just shoot them at that point. 4:40 Good practice for the aim comes in MvM. Community servers are wonderful. Would recommend Community Server MvM. In fact, I even got good/okay with the Loose Cannon on Demoman because of MvM. It's not EXACTLY the same but you get to practice and then go "Wait so players move like this so if I incorporate THAT then I just learned to aim!" 5:41 *I will wipe that look of pride right off your stupid face myself if you pick sniper.* Okay I'm not that good but I'll certain test my luck once or twice and make fun of you in chat if you miss. I literally only play Defense anymore unless it's safe that's how much I hate sniper 11:01 Tried this advice Didn't help. Got better. Got a LOT better. I still cannot hit a shot to save my life. I feel like a complete idiot, like... I went on this whole journey and learned nothing from it level idiotic 14:23 Sniper is from New Zealand, which sunk into the ocean, and then he got Superman'd and crawled into his father's escape rocket, and got adopted in Australia. So he's FROM New Zealand but he's an Aussie
It's the Darwin's Danger Shield ,it give you immunity to afterburn ,and you only take half the damage from Fire based-weapon Edit :So against a flamethrower ,Sniper effectively have 250 hp instead of 125
6:10 sorta? this is because a good sniper present a one shot threat ot 5/9 classes and 2 of these classes(snipers and medics) are your priority targets you are willing ot die to secure a kill on them. 13:25 yes it does however its visible on the sniper and spies od have a gun that can 3 shot or potentially 2 shot the sniper.
If you're going to give sniper a go there are a lot of common pitfalls that will make your time significantly worse and are all round bad habits. The first is staying scoped in for no reason. This limits your field of view and makes you very vulnerable. Go for quickscopes whenever possible. The second is being too far away from your team. Ignore the big back line vantage points, they are a trap. You need to be right behind your team otherwise there will be nobody to protect you from flanking scouts and spies. Being close to your team lets you see more enemies as well. The third is focusing too much on sniper VS sniper. It's the most boring brain-dead match up in the game and at the highest level is basically just a latency test. You will help your team more by getting rid of heavies, medics, soldiers and demos. If you do find yourself trying to kill snipers don't stay scoped in longer than it takes to get a shot off. You may miss a lot to begin with but accuracy will improve with time. Getting in the habit of shooting first is more important. Lastly stay calm, check your surroundings after every shot, change position regularly and have fun
Sniper is arguably the strongest clas in the game in the right hands but in the wrong hands is by far the weakest. You will spend your first few games being worse than useless. Set yourself a challenge each match and worry about that instead of the scoreboard. Get 3 headshots, kill a medic. Headshot an enemy while they are jumping, get 3 kills in a life, kill a scout Etc etc. Getting good is hard so focus on gradual improvements
the problem with sniper is that he has basically no counter-play most of the classes are designed for close range quick pase head to head combat while sniper is the only long range class whose design is to sit back, and camp for unsuspecting enemies sure spy can go invisible, but there are just so many counters to spy from a weapon that blocks backstabs, to one that reveals the invisible spy to literally just listening for the uncloaking sound
As any class you can shoot teammates to see if they're a spy, aka spy checking. But the thing is, it's a bit hard to tell since most weapons are hitscan and it can be hard to listen for hit confirmation sounds if there's battle nearby, and explosive weapons can give away your position or cause self damage. For example, I used to main medic and was practicing using the crusader crossbow (a needle gun that can heal teammates if you're too far to use a medigun but can still damage enemies). I see a scout calling for a medic and I shot at him a few times. Didn't realize he was a spy until he dropped dead just as I took out the medigun.😅 The task of spy checking is usually left to pyros since the fire effects and airblasts only work on enemies.
In tf2 there is alot of shit maps where sniper dominates, never having to move, and if hes good enough just killing people cross map with little to no issues, in these situations you usually want a good spy to try and counter him, but sometimes thats not viable because of 3 engineers guarding the sniper, sometimes the only way to deal with the sniper, is with another sniper. But on well designed maps scouts and spies can usually get him, heavy is almost always destroyed by sniper though
You should watch the extras from how it feels to play sniper and after you watch how it feels to plays demoman and how it feels to play pyro watch the extras from them
Im Terrible as sniper and when i see a sniper i turn around and make everyone know "Hey enemies you sniper is good so you can come her I'm not that good anyway"

Hope this helped.
sniper was born in New Zealand, but was raised in Australia since an infant, so really either is valid

potential reaction suggestion: Emesis Blue
some others mentioned it before me in the live chat, and i agree that it would be a super interesting react! kind of a long one, though, seeing as it's pretty much a movie.
Absolutely. I was just hopping down here to recommend it myself.
Personally would be against it, seeing as he's only starting to get into tf2. might be better to leave that for a bit later.
@@acrux1918 that is a good point! this can just be a thought for the future, then. I do think it would be a fun react down the road :]
Actually the hat the scout weas wearing in the start was the Max's head an item you get from poker night at the inventory which heavy cameoed in
Wrong about that. You actually get Max's Pistol and badge from Poker Night. Maxx's head was a promo item From Sam and Max: The Devil's Playhouse.
@@StrikorD4C ahh that's it i forgot the exact thing for it referenced in poker night though
Love from Dublin 🇮🇪🇮🇪
Edit : also, scout playing minecraft is from last vid, HIFTP Engineer 😎
AYY I appreciate that thank you! 😁 LOL I hope this becomes a theme and they have a whole Minecraft gang 😂
Spy is French
Scout is French-American (Spy is Scout's father and he grew up in Boston ,but Scout doesn't know Spy is his father)
Soldier is American (From the Midwest)
Demo is Scottish
Engineer is Texan
Heavy is Russian
Medic is German
and Sniper is born in New Zealand and was adopted by a couple of Australian
And Pyro...
We don't even know if they are human, much less their gender or ethnicity.
Heavy straight up doesn't consider them human, referring to them as "that *thing* "
Don't forget the Extras! They give some more stuff on the classes, and also some Behind the Scenes SFM stuff
Depends on more than just game sense/overall aim skill. Lazy's totally on point when saying he played better with a good nights rest. I hit more shots when I'm well rested, hydrated and have had a good meal, regardless of game.
Kieran, you should really consider reacting to the extras, it is just as good as the originals
I'm more interested in gameplay stuff to help me learn the characters when I play, but the first Extra will be on my uncut channel, already recorded!
@@ChocolateKieran Yeah, the extras can teach you more about the character and the weapons the classes have.
super difficult . especially when you're up against a competent sniper on the other team . My advice would be to prioritize finding and sniping the other team's sniper before trying to pick off other classes . Try switching locations after sniping the enemy sniper since all snipers tend to have a grudge against their killer and snipe them to even the score .

If I remember the names of the cosmetics correctly, they are:
Hunters Prize (The fox pelt)
Max's Severed Head (The bunny ears)
Catastrophic Companions (cats)
All three painted Pink As Hell.
10:39 That's noises that Scout makes, when he double jump.
14:28 sniper is indeed from new Zealand but he grew up in Australia because a rocket ship from new Zealand he was on when he was a baby crashes in Australia so lots of people say he is from Australia. if you read the books/comics of tf2 you will understand.
To answer the question you asked in the video, I'm great at sniping! But I'd chock that up to extensive practice in CS
Ahh in tht case I'm not surprsued you're good at it!
Sniper was born in New Zealand, but raised in Australia. He was still a baby when he was shot into Australia with a rocket and landed on the property of his adoptive parents.
Btw the pyro that he failed to shoot was me 7:25
Sniper is from New Zealand (which in the world of TF2 sunk underwater, and sniper was a less than a year old son of a crazed professor who wanted to make a rocket ship to get back up to the ground but after getting in an argument with his wife as to who gets to survive and go to the surface baby Mun Dee (sniper's real name) climbs into the rocket by accident and falls in Australia where he gets adopted and named Mundy)
the idea of adding another head-like object on top of your head is genius, it breaks up the form and confuses snipers.
9:38 man learning THE basic mechanic of sniping for the first time in his life
Literally hahaha, I did say I do NOT snipe! First time I tried on Halo as a kid I was lost and refused to learn
"Is Sniper from Australia or New Zealand?"
According to the lore: Yes.
LOL, this is why I was so confused!
@@ChocolateKieran Think of Superman's status as an alien and a citizen of Earth and you'll be right on the money. But that's the least weird thing happening in Australia. Read up on the online comics for a recreation of the hyperborea meme.
"Is spy from New Zealand or Australia"
How to single handedly anger an entire fandom
But everybody is saying both so I don't know what you want me to do here 😂
Fun fact: The hat that the Scout is wearing at the beginning is Max’s Severed Head.

Someone in chat said that he will watch Emesis Blue eventually, boy is that going to be a watch
I'm mid at sniping. I only have 20 hours on sniper but he's just so damn fun
I’m at 15 hours and I absolutely agree, had great times with 1v1 and more sniping but just head shot greatest lol
12:51 It’s a possibility yes, but it’s not really practical since that just means your wasting shots on an unknown whereas the job is normally relegated to pyros because of ammo economy and the flamethrower’s aoe.
The bunny on scouts head was a promotion item for Sam and max
the medic at the beginning says "move! schnell!" which just means "move! quickly!" in German
16:25
Taunts have a tendency to not move the players hitboxes. Can make it a bit awkward.
1:54 No, it's just skull with horns, just painted. You know, it's like those cow skulls in deserts in cartoons.
sniper was born in new Zealand and raised in Australia.
Howdy, just to explain the whole Sniper thing:
He was born in New Zealand but the country was about to sink into the ocean due to his father being dumb.
Wow, I'm glad you got some good aim advice from this
Me too!
Where is the "How it feels to Suffer", the extras and behind the scenes of "How it feels to play Engineer"? (from that video on, all classes has extras that you SHOULD react to)
Sniper was born in New Zeland but was raised by a adoptive family in Austrailia.
3:23
To me, Scout is a good counter towards Sniper due to the scouts mobility from being able to double jump and being fast, with these two, he can dodge headshots if they're aware of an enemy sniper and are actively targeting them.
The bunny hat on scout was actually the severed head of max the bunny from a different game franchise. more information in this video (warning, not a rickroll but a very traumatic video where heavy declares his plans and makes a new hat): th-cam.com/video/dJGl1UYHAss/w-d-xo.html
you could do this or just change your entire playstyle of sniper called the huntsman sniper aka lucksman
Don’t sweat it if you don’t do well as sniper. It’s not an easy class.
Oh. And that scout in the Minecraft scene is the one from the engineer HiF video
Sniper Is from New Zealand but was raised In Australia.
Sniper was born in New Zealand but was raised in Australia. He's a kiwi
9:17 That whole section was about how much he used to suck.

Cant wait for how it feels to play sniper EXTRAS
And usually, in Sniper vs Sniper, a quickscope is all you really have the time to do.
sniper was actually born from new Zealand but raised in Australia
the hat that the scout wears in the intro is max from sam and max (old school click adventure games and animated series)
Aye lets go! Another vid!

I say my aim isn't the best, but it appears to be that out of my friends, I've got the best aim.
remember the scout from how it feels to play engineer
9:00 Silas Mann a.k.a Horseless Headless Horsemann.
I think when I was a kid I taught myself to move my gun faster than the person moving and shoot when I know well enough where they’re going to go
You’re gonna have to watch all the Extra how it feels to play They are as entertaining as the real ones
if you like sniping in splatoon, you might like the classic.
it's a riffle that you hold M1 to charge, instead of point and click.

As a person who likes to play sniper class in most video games I am pretty good, it is both fun and not fun playing as that class mainly because killing a person when they don't expected from about as far away as possible is always funny, but crap gets real heated when one of these two things happen, first and the most likely thing to happen is a Sniper vs Sniper when two or more good snipers fight against each other it becomes the most epic thing anyone has ever witnessed, giving somebody an L or taking an L will either make your day or ruin your whole day...
"only YOU can see the shots you miss" _why i dont use the machina_
Sniper is from New Zealand but got rocketed into Australia as a baby
also New Zealand is underwater and Australia is insanely advanced
Sniper was raised in Australia but was born in New Zealand
Snipin's a good job mate, challenging work, out of doors, gurantee you'll not go hungry, because at the end of the day as long as there's two people left on the planet, someone is gonna want someone dead.
he has fallen down the tf2 rabbit hole
Hey just telling ya max’s head the bunny hat the scout was wearing is a all class Idem that was a calab
I greatly suggest the EXTRA videos for his Sniper, Pyro and Demoman videos as they include even more for the game and not just behind the scenes content (especially for Pyro and Demoman as they include much more than their original videos).

Countering Sniper in TF2 is a pain.
Scorch Shot all the way they ain't dodging that one unless they get out
Engineer: Sneak or Wrangler. Those are your only options. I'd suggest you DON'T fight snipers if you can get away with it.
Medic: Sneak or Crossbow. Those are your only options. I'd _majorly_ suggest you DON'T fight snipers if you can get away with it
Sniper: Dude why are you sniper... whatever, just click on their heads before they click on yours...
Demo, Heavy, Spy: Sneak up on them or find a good place to snipe them if you can't get up close. (Demo can also use stickies to make sure they can't react)
Anyways, as for sneaking up, snipers have a guaranteed 195 damage melee and also a NEARLY guaranteed 195 damage melee. That is to say... their stock melee has a VERY high random crit rate because of the amount of damage they deal.
So even if you're up close, you're not safe.
Sniper OP... *and you certainly know that when most bots are sniper*
Pyro is the best choice if you're sneaking up.
4:40
Good practice for the aim comes in MvM. Community servers are wonderful. Would recommend Community Server MvM.
In fact, I even got good/okay with the Loose Cannon on Demoman because of MvM.
It's not EXACTLY the same but you get to practice and then go "Wait so players move like this so if I incorporate THAT then I just learned to aim!"

*I will wipe that look of pride right off your stupid face myself if you pick sniper.*
Okay I'm not that good but I'll certain test my luck once or twice and make fun of you in chat if you miss.
I literally only play Defense anymore unless it's safe that's how much I hate sniper

Sniper is from New Zealand, which sunk into the ocean, and then he got Superman'd and crawled into his father's escape rocket, and got adopted in Australia.
So he's FROM New Zealand but he's an Aussie
It's the Darwin's Danger Shield ,it give you immunity to afterburn ,and you only take half the damage from Fire based-weapon
Edit :So against a flamethrower ,Sniper effectively have 250 hp instead of 125

It also happens to make no difference if you are using a shotgun.
6:10 sorta?
this is because a good sniper present a one shot threat ot 5/9 classes and 2 of these classes(snipers and medics) are your priority targets you are willing ot die to secure a kill on them.
13:25
yes it does however its visible on the sniper and spies od have a gun that can 3 shot or potentially 2 shot the sniper.
Getting good is hard so focus on gradual improvements
the problem with sniper is that he has basically no counter-play
most of the classes are designed for close range quick pase head to head combat
while sniper is the only long range class whose design is to sit back, and camp for unsuspecting enemies
sure spy can go invisible, but there are just so many counters to spy
from a weapon that blocks backstabs, to one that reveals the invisible spy
to literally just listening for the uncloaking sound
As any class you can shoot teammates to see if they're a spy, aka spy checking. But the thing is, it's a bit hard to tell since most weapons are hitscan and it can be hard to listen for hit confirmation sounds if there's battle nearby, and explosive weapons can give away your position or cause self damage.
For example, I used to main medic and was practicing using the crusader crossbow (a needle gun that can heal teammates if you're too far to use a medigun but can still damage enemies). I see a scout calling for a medic and I shot at him a few times. Didn't realize he was a spy until he dropped dead just as I took out the medigun.😅
The task of spy checking is usually left to pyros since the fire effects and airblasts only work on enemies.
I heard that Xenoblade 3 music in the intro…A man of taste, I see
5:16 tfw pyro is filled with determination
In tf2 there is alot of shit maps where sniper dominates, never having to move, and if hes good enough just killing people cross map with little to no issues, in these situations you usually want a good spy to try and counter him, but sometimes thats not viable because of 3 engineers guarding the sniper, sometimes the only way to deal with the sniper, is with another sniper. But on well designed maps scouts and spies can usually get him, heavy is almost always destroyed by sniper though
that video literally helped me become better at sniper
