    wow! what a nice review.
    though you didn't talk about reliability for this model
    how is the oil consumption for this exact model
    I want to get one like this either 2012 or 2013
    can you recommend this model??
    thanks in advance

      Thanks. The car is quite reliable. I would recommend it. Regular oil change is at every 7500km. Since the engine size is 1.4 liters oil change is quite pocket friendly. It will cost you less than $50 to change the oil, oil filter, air filter, pollen filter and fuel filter.

    How do you tell the difference between 160hp model and 122hp model.

    • @rayxavery
      @rayxavery  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      160hp has 17inch rims while the 122hp has 16inch rims. That's the quickest way to tell the difference without looking at the engine bay. The bigger rims allow for larger brakes to stop the car and wider tires to handle the engine power.

      @Ray Xavery thanks, that means mine is a 122hp then. It has 16 inch rims.

      @@juliuskona3299 yes. 160hp will blow the 16inch tires

    Might of won awards but the engine is made of cheap crap- you simply pay for the brand, not the quality. good luck with the pistons. ticking time bomb.. every engine start is a failure waiting to happen.

      Every car has its shortcomings. Thanks for the feedback though!

      @@rayxavery Short comings maybe - such as preventative issues such as chain stretch, valve covers etc which can be prevented or stopped.
      unlike the unpredictable pistons that can fail at anypoint which were put into these engines which is impossible to stop unless you replace the pistons. and just becasue VW say use 95 ron fuel, this wont stop the issue. was simply a way to avoid paying out or fixng the cars on warranty. which is why they revised there pistons, injectors, spark plugs etc etc etc.

      @@Larcomes Been driving my 2011 Golf 6 TSI since 2016 and never had any engine issue. Just did regular service and still drives like a dream today.
