- Hello! Since no one has uploaded any content about this product, I thought I would show people what it looks like and a bit about it. This is just an unboxing where I open two kits, the grey large bottle kit and the white kit, and show what is in the box when it arrives. Since the wait for these bottles was very long (almost a year for me, longer for other people), I thought it would be nice to share. :)
I figure it is obvious once you see the video, but TMB didn't sponsor this at all.

Backed it exactly a year ago today, and mine got delivered this afternoon.

@@HavocXTMby any chance what backer number were you? I’m wondering if they are following delivery based on when you backed or it’s just luck or the draw.
@@Dontworry1 I was backer No. 13285. I'm from the UK, backer number isn't necessarily the order they'll sort them by as they ship on mass to different countries. I reached out to them and that's essentially what they told me. 3 days later it arrived on my doorstep.
@@Dontworry1 I was backer #7,850 or something, received mine a week and a half ago here in California. Really shitty how this company is handling their crowdfunding campaign. hopefully everyone gets theirs soon.
I just got mine too. A handful of my thoughts:
1) it does looks quite cool
2) seems overly complicated, but I suppose that’s necessary for it to do all these things. If you only want it to carry water, this is not for you.
3) because of the insulating air chamber, this bottle actually holds less than it looks like it should.
4) for the screw caps, you have to hold the bottle at the top on the non-clear part because that part (and not the cap) will twist off if you just hold the clear part.
5) only time will tell, but I feel like the dark colored one will show wear really quickly from use. Like, your hands will rub the paint off over time.
6) the flat cap is hard to open
same issues with mine and also TMB bottle with flat cap suffers from air pressure issues as the water does not flow properly while trying to drink. For the amount of money paid and time delays I was very dissapointed when using the product.
I think I agree with you about a few of these points for sure.
1) - It does look super cool! I found I like to mix and match parts from different colored bottles together, which is fun.
2) There are a lot of parts, but I found I default to a couple base styles and then only swap parts for specific cases.
3) Yeah the smaller water bottle size doesn't hold a ton of water - I think it works well for like daily use, but I'm not sure I'd use it for, say, a hiking trip where I don't have the ability to refill it. I'm low-key hoping they make a hiking water filter for this so you can refill it at streams/springs... The bigger size one is not so limiting, but it is very large.
4) Yup :') It does unscrew sometimes. I hope they fix that.
5) - So far the finish on mine hasn't shown wear - been using 3 weeks? I'm not worried about that at this point.
6) Yeah the flat cap is too stiff. I haven't had trouble with pressure issues with it (like the other person who replied here did) though.
Also I made a lil review video with further thoughts about the bottles too if that's helpful. Covers these issues and a few other thoughts.
Little over a week, and:
1- I've already had glass break from falling less than 2ft off the coffee table (dogs).
2-The glass is not supported enough, and the orange bands don't touch the inner diameter of the bottle. This causes The glass to come out every time you open the bottle.
3- Minor gripe, The straw is way smaller than shown in the original ads.
4- The paint has already worn off the flat cap and cap ring. Cap ring has already split from the style of retention it uses as it's way too thin of plastic.
5- No vacuum bleed for flat cap to allow for easy drinking, bleed off of pressure.
6- infusion strainer retention ring does not engage properly, skips threads when trying to tighten into the cap. Cap threads also do not allow for the passage of fluids when nearing empty.
I really like the look of it, but honestly, for the cost, I'd of liked to see aluminum or the like instead of plastic, could have been laser etched instead of painted that would just rub off.
The temp stays consistent which is nice, the idea was great, I just feel they really burned us on the material quality.
I thought about buying this cool looking bottle but after this video I'm glad I decided to do a little more research. It seems cool, but the rattling is a concern, considering it houses a glass bottle inside. It's also to overly complicated if you can't just grab it and go without instructions. Plenty of cheaper bottles that are easier to use.
Mine comes on Tuesday so I was kinda curious how it looked and you were right

Thanks for the review! Can you let me know what shipment company sent these to you?(fedex, USPS, ETC.) I backed this as well and I live in a condo and depending on the shipment company my packages get delivered to different spots around my neighborhood. Glad were FINALLY getting these shipped to us
I actually am not sure. It was a couple weeks ago and I didn't see who left it, and didn't keep the packaging. I got a few bottles, so the package was large and had to be left on my doorstep so I can't rule out usps. Hope yours arrive soon!

How long did It take shipping wise I just ordered mine waited awhile after the kick start to allow the processing to get better but they said they’d email me shipment confirmation (but no specific date)
Waited ages for this, after i got it looks like a cheap plastic bottle. And I was right, after 1-2 months of use the printed wording got smeared or peeled off. The black extension screws are not tight and easily get worned off and water starts to leak.The cap screws is more tighter then the extension screws like whenever i try to twist the cap screw the extension screw easily loosen up. Heck Im not even abusing the bottle, I took care of it and the screw is just easy to loosen up. Now I need to find a new freaking bottle. This is just another hype up scam product on Kickstarter.
Strange to make a bottle with a glass insert - that’s going to break the first time it’s dropped which will instantly make the very expensive bottle useless.

I just got mine yesterday on Monday, December 12. Everything was good but my expansion piece that screws on will not come off. It’s stuck on the bottom part. I’ve already emailed them a few times I’m waiting for replies but it seems like the expansion ring is fused on somehow or melted by mistake but it just won’t come off. I’ve tried hot water and froze it and nothing works.
I had the same problem. I watched someone else’s unboxing video and realized I wasn’t going to break it so I really, really wrenched it and finally got it off.
@@Wired76 they got in touch with me and they’re going to send me a new outer cylinder, and the expansion ring

It didn't make sense to me, so I watched the review. And it still doesn't make sense to me.
