- Okay so maybe not that lazy of a review, I did put some effort into it...
Anyways...
The Modular Bottle is a sport/travel/all around versatile water bottle with options to customize the top an size as well as add various colors to your liking!
Launched on kickstarter of November 2022 - January 2023 it as the name implies a modular bottle for all your thirsty needs...

Just got mine today, definitely watch all the instruction videos because there are no instructions in the box
Waited ages for this, after i got it looks like a cheap plastic bottle. And I was right, after 1-2 months of use the printed wording got smeared or peeled off. The black extension screws are not tight and easily get worned off and water starts to leak.The cap screws is more tighter then the extension screws like whenever i try to twist the cap screw the extension screw easily loosen up. Heck Im not even abusing the bottle, I took care of it and the screw is just easy to loosen up. Now I need to find a new freaking bottle. This is just another hype up scam product on Kickstarter.
Backed this sht since 2022 still haven't got mine.
yeah that's why I never do Kickstarters, done like 3 and have only gotten 1 products so never again
And the sad thing is many who got them said that they suck, horrible quality.
Just ordered mine on thier website. And after hearing you say you only tested the insulation for about two hours. I really hope the insulation is way better for the price. My 32oz stanley insulated water bottle can keep ice for a 12hrs and it didn't cost as much as this TMB
It looks like your flat top was incorrectly assembled. The sliding part is not supposed to be flush with the top, it’s supposed to stick out and therefore be easy to slide using one finger. See if you can remove and install the sliding part the other way round?
Amazon appears to have them, at a lower price and on Prime.
Just got mine . I'm content with the product but they really need to bump it up on the materials. Harder plastics and engraved ( not printed) lettering.

Guys if you are thinking about buying this bottle from them, DO NOT. They are having quality control issues with the tea infuser being screwed too tightly onto it where we can't unscrew it at all. If you try to unscrew it, you're risking the chances of bending their plastic cap or cheap metal infuser. I spent over an hour trying to unscrew it with no luck! I posted about their issue on their Facebook page and they blocked me! These guys can't take criticism for their defective product and even have it to where you can't post an HONEST rating on their official website. They are hiding all the bad feedbacks! Also do not pay extra specifically for package protection. They did not add any extra protection unless they talking about the air bag protecting the glass inside the box? That should already be a protection itself, why pay extra!

How do you feel about the insulation? Compared to like a hydroflask
The insulation is kind of meh, the orange gasket on the glass interior doesn't seal super well with the plastic exterior mainly cause there's still air in there which is inevitable. It's still a cool bottle tho, minor gripes are insulation and the flat cap is kind of hard to open. If they add a way to vacuum seal the bottle (unlikely), it won't keep drinks cold for long.
Not even close to hydroflask, hydroflask is a quality product. The TMB is a bad quality gimmick.
I’ve had mine for a few months now and I’m disappointed, the white text on the top lid area is starting to dad and smear. Also the top section can be a royal pain to open, the rubber gasket is causing a vacuum lock , plus I’ve noticed a crack on the top section as well, probably from how much force I need to use to release from the vacuum created by the gasket in the lid.
I’m guessing it might last a year at best.. also don’t drop it, probably shatter. For how long I waited through the kickstarter for this.. it wasn’t worth it!
I just received mine and I cannot for the life of me get it open. I tried putting scalding hot water in to warm the bottel in hopes of loosening it, but I still can't open it. Do you have any tips for getting it open?
Got mine today 😛 but I am and was pretty sure it would be coming sooner or later, it was also some of my problem that I had not answered the survey but I tought I had so .... anyway. I also did a mistake so I ended up with 2 !!! anyway, its a cool flask ... so its okey hehe.

Not really but they will give you an email confirming “It’s Coming”. If u receive anything like that except it to come asap. Either way. Yours will come eventually.
Update mine arrived today after complaining at least 3 times. Mine came with the extension tube screwed in and right now, I’m having extreme difficulty trying to unscrew it 😖
Not worth the price honestly , its si Clunky, i just got mind and i cant even open it, i opened the secret compartment and it sounds so grainy, its hard to open and close

How on earth do you get that stupid extender collar off? It will not come off of my bottles. So I can’t take out the infuser or change to the smaller bottle. Absolutely frustrating and useless.
I literally had the same problem...
I just had to find a good grip an twist, eventually a bit of over use makes it easier over time... at least for me it did, I would give the bottle a higher score if it didn't have this problem!
I had the exact opposite issue, mine is a bit too loose so any shaking of the bottle and it comes undone, almost dropped the bottom section several times. I've waited over a year for my order and it was a huge letdown. I had asked for a refund 3-4 times and they never responded, until I had a lawyer friend write up a letter for them, then suddenly it shipped and was here a week later. (I was in for over $300USD as I ordered several bottles and all the available accessories.
I am blown away at the utterly deplorable build quality and durability. The extender attachment for accommodating the taller glass reservoir now jostles loosely when screwed into the outer plastic segment. I'm literally seeing plastic powder residue on the threading of that outer plastic layer from the horrible printing tolerances resulting in non-uniform friction. Also, most of the times I go to take the top cap off to refill, it WILL NOT COME OFF as if someone cast some ancient seal spell on it when I wasn't looking away.@@linkah
@roberthclark you probably solved this by now but I finally got mine off after running hot water over the cap where it seals.

The problem is the design itself. Something that does everything, does nothing well.
That is not the issue. It's a quality control issue in manufacturing.
Think its not right they changed the straws and provided only one, which is ridicukously long
They only give you a long strong if you order the Extension. short straws only for people who did not pay more.
just got mine DO NOT BUY !!!! Their quality is soo bad. NOT STURDY ... NOT STRONG.. its all cheap THIN PLASTIC.
the glass is cheap & thin too. it's supposed to be borosilicate, meaning it resists temp changes so you can toss fresh tea/coffee in w/o breaks... Welp, one of the bottles they sent me (which had other, odd preproduction-sounding issues) cracked after i poured hot tea in. I tried asking them about this on their Kickstarter, showing photoproof of the glass still in the bottle w my ice and tea inside.... and they first blocked me for a week from their Kickstarter... and then when I posted again about it they ended up refunding my money so i couldn't post on their again.
I agree.. unfortunately you beat me to it... its absolutely rubbish quality... cheap plastic indeed.. defs not durable at all.. i want my money back!
It’s Chinese product what do you expect the cost of this bottle is prob less than 5 usd yet they sell it at almost 100 lol
