Thanks for watching! The cost for most Beats is closer to $14 to produce. Knowing this, you can make a copy for far less if you use even cheaper materials. Battery quality, sound quality, and build quality is often inconsistent with fakes. So even though its cheap for the company, you are paying for the name and the consistency. Plus, you can have them repaired if they brake due to the mass production on parts. As always, it is your choice if you want to purchase Beats at all.

May you please reply? I turned my beats on with the Bluetooth screen, but they didn’t show up.. I know these aren’t fake because we bought them from Best Buy.
Thanks for watching! Sometimes even places like Best Buy can get fakes mixed in with their inventory. We suggest contacting them on this issue, i am sure they will try and make it right either way.
I found out mine are fake a couple days ago. I basically had the exact same fakes you showed in the video. I ordered on ebay and luckily i was still in paypals dispute window for purchases like this. Just opened up a claim earlier today. I didn't actually know they were fake for sure until recently but I always felt like they were a bit lower quality than I would've expected. Definitely noticeable. I wouldn't be trying to return them if I thought they were still worth having.
The ones I bought were listed as 200$ refurbished, and they turned out to be fake. So if they say they're refurbished I'd be suspicious. I'm not an expert but if they say they are like new, new, refurbished, or something along those lines you're probably taking a big risk by going down below 250. If you want to make sure they're genuine I'd obviously just get them from beats. You could probably find used ones for relatively cheap though. I wasn't looking to get used headphones.
Thanks for your Reply Ben! That is accurate indeed. If you do buy them online we would recommend eBay or Amazon if not from Beats as they both offer great return policies if the headphones turn out to be fake. MD.

Hi friend, does the fake beats has the beats headphone animation on iPhone? I do get the beats animation on my iPhone however, I can’t do a reset and update to my beats. Can it be fake version?
Yes. just back from apple store, the serial code has been activated. Hence, it is a counterfeit product with W1 chip built in!!! Guys be aware! even fake version beats does come with W1 chip! However, what i notice is the fake beats doesn't come with reset function which probably you can try it out to test and the plastic of power button looks cheaply build. secondly, the fake beats's hinge is tight to pull as compare to the legit beats which is very smooth to pull. bra..... do you realize that you said they are a company that wouldn't put out garbage products because they wouldn't have any customers? Do you know that apple owns beats now? Do you realize how easily glass breaks on apple products?? One drop, DONE. My screen cracked once because my phone was in the same pocket as my keys!! For real. My beats are 100% real, straight from the apple store, locked, wrapped, boxed on the rack. Had them about 5 months, no complaints. Then, earpads start wearing, had to buy new ones. That BENDABLE/FLEXIBLE QUALITY HEADBAND cracked. I have NEVER dropped them, put them loose in a bag, under/in-between something, or open/closed them recklessly. Just one night at the gym, I went to put them on my head and when I unfolded them, SNAP! They make more money than you think on replacement parts it's become a damn marketing scheme to make garbage! Other than that, I'm highly satisfied! lol
Personally, no for a few reasons. They could potentially damage the hearing of the child, and they are pretty expensive and a 2 year old may not see it that way.
Ah. Complete miscommunication on my part there. It should be fine, just check the condition and see if they work before buying them if you can. Or make sure you have the option of getting a refund if its in store or online.

The real ones can last from 22 to 40 hours, depending if you have ANC noise cancelling on or not. With fakes there is no exact answer, because there are many companies that try and produce them with many different results. Very inconsistent.
We do not recommend, if you are going to pay the price, you might as well get the real thing. Plus, most repair companies, like us, can not or will not repair fakes.

If they show up in the updater, they are real :) MD.
This is a tricky question. The easiest answer would be from untrustworthy sites, and eBay and sometimes even Amazon. But There have been times where stores like Best Buy manage to purchase a fake shipment. The good thing is most of these places will give you a refund for the product. Buying straight from apple is the only guaranteed way of 100% authenticity. CH
My guess would be its a gamble. Since beats are usually priced higher, fake companies will try and take advantage of the profit. But if someone is selling Beats cheap, that should be an obvious red flag that they are not real. CH
I have a pair of the Powerbeats 3 which where given to me now they dont connect to the beats updater but they do show up like any other pair would with a W1 chip so either the fakers have managed to trick this somehow on an iphone 7 Im not sure

Am really hoping i can take them back to Fry's electronics
I bought mine from Amazon, should I be worried?
Im not sure. Do they feel good. Have you compared them to another unit?
Update : They still haven’t arrived in the mail. But your video was really helpful so I’ll take notes based on your video, thank you! 👍🏽
one question, the beats studio 3 wireless fake have chip W1?
Thanks for watching! The fakes do not have the W1 chip but sometimes they imitate it with fake versions. Most fakes do not have anything like the W1 chip. MD.
Jordi definitely yes. I just gotten a fake beats with W1 chip.
MR ABALONE what site did u get them from
@@tunesquad1015 i get it from local seller, what i would advise you is to get from reliable source also do a firmware update via PC on the spot if possible. That is the most reliable way to test whether it is legit or not
MR ABALONE what about e bay is that good
I have a question, I just bought one from what really seems a legit retailer. But when my music or a video with sound stops, a few seconds i hear a murmur like sound. Also I don’t have a option on my phone to switch Noise cancelling on and off and also clicking the power button two times doesn’t work. Does this means they are fake?
It could. Please email us at support@joesge.com and we will be able to better help you there. - Aaron P
Hey just a quick question if it doesn’t pop up on my screen only on the Bluetooth settings does that mean they are fake 100%?
I’m scared idk either
Hey bro, can you explain how is the grammer errors on the box of the fake one? And also is the fake one has a serial number too? If the fake one has the serial number do you think we can register that fake serial number?
Thanks
Thanks for the comment. You may be able to register a fake serial number, however, you can not update fake headphones with the beats updater website: www.beatsbydre.com/support/how-to/firmware-updates-beats-updater
We recommend using this link to verify the authenticity of your headphones.
-David P
My carrying case has a black zipper instead of red. Can that be a sign of a knock off? I'm gonna try on an iPhone see if it registers
You can also plug it into a computer and run beats updater, if they register on this, they are authentic: your.beatsbydre.com/#/download?locale=en-US
@@Joesge I'll try that thanks
You are welcome, hope they are real!
I found a red USB cord in the white and gold studio 3 instead of White USB cord does that mean it’s fake also?

May you please reply? I turned my beats on with the Bluetooth screen, but they didn’t show up.. I know these aren’t fake because we bought them from Best Buy.
Thanks for watching! Sometimes even places like Best Buy can get fakes mixed in with their inventory. We suggest contacting them on this issue, i am sure they will try and make it right either way.
What if u have an android does it still do that when it connect
No
I found out mine are fake a couple days ago.
Thanks for watching! We are stoked that you caught it in time to open a claim. Good on you! :) MD.
One question how much did they cost I’m currently looking for beats
The ones I bought were listed as 200$ refurbished, and they turned out to be fake. So if they say they're refurbished I'd be suspicious. I'm not an expert but if they say they are like new, new, refurbished, or something along those lines you're probably taking a big risk by going down below 250. If you want to make sure they're genuine I'd obviously just get them from beats. You could probably find used ones for relatively cheap though. I wasn't looking to get used headphones.
Ben Hahn Ok thanks for the help. 🙂
Thanks for your Reply Ben! That is accurate indeed. If you do buy them online we would recommend eBay or Amazon if not from Beats as they both offer great return policies if the headphones turn out to be fake. MD.
does the beats updater only works on latest beats like beats studio 3 and solo 3? or they could also work on studio 2 and solo 2's?
Thanks for watching! And the beats updater will also work for the Studio and Solo 2's. CH
Does anyone know if the fake pair will connect to the Beats uploader online or no?
It costs Apple $15 bucks to make these. Just get a different pair of headphones. Plenty of options that are way better
What if i turn them on the iphone see them but they not gold colour (got gold edition ) its all black is it fake? on your movie thers gold colour of them when the iphone pair it
Thanks for the comment. The animation color can be a different color. connect them to the beats updater website to confirm their authenticity.

Just because the beats pop up on your phone doesn’t mean they are real, they can be fake ones two I no because I have encountered this before
Correct the fakes have gotten very good over the years. But there are other ways to tell if they are fake.
Just bought mine at Amazon how do I know it real?
Run your serial number through this www.beatsbydre.com/register
Cool thanks
Fakes nowadays also have the W1 chip just like the original ones. It's not a good way to difference both.
But what about the sound quality? You didn't explain the difference tho. Does it means the fake one almost as good as the real one?🤔
Thanks for the feedback! The sound quality is definitely worse on the fakes. They sound less full and lack the low end usually. Just depends on how good the fake is. MD.
I had mine (a fake one) for about 80 bucks and seriously nobody could see the difference between a real one and my fake. not only when it comes to how it looks, the sound was also the same as the original it was really good.
fake headphones nowadays more worth it than original, they have upgraded their quality control too but only lack w1 chip, its not the big deal since Bluetooth works well with others phone too

Will the solo 3 on Android phone will it show it on screen oscillating
Thanks for the comment. These headphones have a new W1 chip that communicates directly with your iPhone, making a pop-up message appear prompting for pairing when they’re turned on within the vicinity of your iPhone. This will work with iPhones using iOS 9 or newer. Will not pop-up for Andriod.

your awsome thank you
Check out this so am in Walmart getting some powerbeat pros last night and he bring them out and there no cellophane wrap on them shouldn't they be wrapped he says I don't know there all like that back there.. so I say ok get them home charge them go to pair and it says a Latinname/powerbeats so they come on sounds ok wasn't impressed so I go to turn volume up and down and one side or the other don't go up as hi .so am like to that's wierd so I play with for like a he befor 1.5hrs befor falling to sleep did keep playing them but did not put them in case or shut them off slept bout 5 hrs woke slaped them in and half HR later battery went dead took them back today I think worker switched them all out .
When you purchase these you don't have access to the headphones. Can you tell if its a fake or not by the packaging??
Thanks for the comment. Unfortunately the packaging is the easiest to replicate. However we have noticed that some fake packaging has misspelled words/ incomplete sentences. This is a good indicator that the packaging is a fake replica.

Joe's Gaming & Electronics Thanks heaps for getting back to me.
Glad we can help:) Please like, subscribe and share the video.
Hope this help.
Thanks for watching! This is very likely. We recommend contacting the seller about this product and possibly getting a refund for them.
@@Joesge yes joe. in fact, what u said is true should have look for famous source such as amazon , ebay , your website and etc. If we r going to get a top class headphone, then we shouldn't expect this item is going to be cheap

Real beats cost between 14$ and 18$ to make, fake ones cost less than 14$ .
Shit I got a fake beats Nd it work fine idc they save me 298$
Funny thing is "real" beats cost less than $20 to make.
Thanks for the tip. How and where do you buy the components to make them?
Im currently looking on ebay for some studio 3s due to the fact authentic brand are very expensive do you guys still think its worth trying?
Thanks for watching! The Studio 3's are great headphones. You can definitely find authentic ones on eBay for a good deal used or sometimes new. Just make sure that you buy only from listings that state that the headphones are authentic. That way, if you do receive fake headphones, you can return them under the premise of false marketing :) MD.
Hey I got some questions... can you get back at me please when you can? I might send my beats in bc yeah they are no good rn. Headband broke. But I can fix that. @The dhgate 1:1 Replica reviews are your beats still working fine?
@The dhgate 1:1 Replica reviews thats good to know. I just bought a pair of studio 3's for 190 dollars on ebay, it said they were manufacturer refurbished. I bought a warranty just in case they mess up.
I'm a headphone and speaker guy and I deal with these things my sisters boy friend got fake ones and they don't listen to what I have to say. His head phones which are beats studio three when the bottons are white and sho waht they do when the real has buttons but they are hidden mainly black
bra..... do you realize that you said they are a company that wouldn't put out garbage products because they wouldn't have any customers?
Other than that, I'm highly satisfied! lol
Syko Studios facts!!!😂😭😭😭😭👊🏽
Using the beats updater can answer the legitimate of beats, is that true?
Ya
Do you think it’s safe to buy a two year old beats studio 3?
Personally, no for a few reasons. They could potentially damage the hearing of the child, and they are pretty expensive and a 2 year old may not see it that way.
Joe's Gaming & Electronics oh no I meant buy a beats studio 3 that is two years old😂
Ah. Complete miscommunication on my part there. It should be fine, just check the condition and see if they work before buying them if you can. Or make sure you have the option of getting a refund if its in store or online.

I got the studio 3 for my birthday and I bought them from Best Buy but the W1 Chip thing doesn’t work and neither does the updater I heard Best Buy is legit but I’m worried I bought fakes (I’ve done every thing the updater has told me etc and still doesn’t connect)
Thanks for watching! There is a chance that they could still be fakes, as even Best Buy can accidentally purchase them from a new distributor that was potentially cheaper. We recommend bringing this to their attention, if they are not authentic this could prevent others from buying them as well.
My uncle buy me a class A (i think note original) Beats Studio 3. The Sound Was Good,Have Radio,Sd card and Wire But i don't like is the Color or paint Because it's easy to disappear and looks old fast. How i can paint it again?? Color (Black,Gold)
Does it have a sd card reader? Then that's absolutely fake
How much it lasts the Battery in both of them
The real ones can last from 22 to 40 hours, depending if you have ANC noise cancelling on or not. With fakes there is no exact answer, because there are many companies that try and produce them with many different results. Very inconsistent.
Thanks Joe , would you consider get a fake pair?
We do not recommend, if you are going to pay the price, you might as well get the real thing. Plus, most repair companies, like us, can not or will not repair fakes.

Where do you buy the fakes owns?
This is a tricky question. The easiest answer would be from untrustworthy sites, and eBay and sometimes even Amazon. But There have been times where stores like Best Buy manage to purchase a fake shipment. The good thing is most of these places will give you a refund for the product. Buying straight from apple is the only guaranteed way of 100% authenticity. CH
@@Joesge but how do you buy fake beats for really cheap. Like buying fake yeezys for 60$.

My beats studio 3 (shadow grey) shows a matte black color while trying to connect instead of the shadow grey 😮
Thanks for watching! That is likely because the bluetooth board was switched out in the headphones as a repair. The bluetooth board houses the firmware for the headphones including the picture that would pop up on the screen. MD.
But is it legit though? I bought it online around $200. The ANC works and the serial number checks out fine.
Yep! If the W1 chip is present that usually means they are legit. The serial number can be copied off of real headphones so the best way to tell if they are real is by connecting them to the Beats updater software, or testing the W1 chip functionality. MD.
