  • The unique midsole of the On Cloudeclipse smoothes out your stride to help you run longer and farther. This max cushion shoe pushes your momentum forward and helps prevent loss of energy between your foot hitting the ground and rolling into your next stride. It's On purpose and keeps you moving in the right direction.
    * I'm not a scientist. All my opinions come from having run in these shoes. The shoes were not given to me, but purchased with my own money.

I love my On Cloud Eclipse ! And it is also the most "breathable " high cushioning shoes and it is the best option to run during the summer ! I feel it almost have the super ventilation upper of an Asics Magic Speed 3 that is a super fast trainer/ competition.

Yes it’s definitely one of my favorite max cushion shoes. And I agree that it’s quite breathable even though it has that extra liner underneath the mesh. On seem to be getting better and better with their shoes. I’m looking forward to seeing what else they come out with next year.

I really confused when many people said true to size, as I tried at the shop with treadmill, I found my feet comfortable with up size.
My real feet length is 23.5cm wide structure, my shoes number usually 7 to 7.5 so I tried number 7.5 but it's to tight no space at toe room, then I decided to take number 8 (insole length 25cm). I feel roomy and comfortable for my feet. My fingers don't hurt like when I used Nike Vaporly and Asics Kayano.
I changed the insole of cloudeclipe with more structured insole in the market for my low arch. By changing the insole I feel my feet more more comfortable even for long run.
Am I correct by giving space in my running shoes 1 to 1.5cm? FYI, my real Length is 23.5cm i feel comfortable with insole 25cm.

I usually never have more than 1cm of space between my big toe and the tip of the shoe. In fact, I prefer closer to .5cm than 1cm. It's just my personal preference. I've seen some people go with a size that allows them to place the width of their thumb between the toe and the top of the shoe, which is way more than 1cm and close to 1.5cm like yourself. Sometimes it's because the foot is wider so it feels more comfortable across the forefoot, even though there is a lot of space in front of the toe. I would go with whatever makes you feel comfortable. When I say true to size, I'm not sure what other people mean, but I'm referring to the usual size I wear, which for me is 8.5. I hope that helps.
