Yeah picked up the Cloudmonster for only €90 not so long ago and I do love it ... I tried it when it came out and LOVED it and have been waiting and waiting for a good deal!! It's not exactly "cushy", no, yet is certainly a highly cushioned shoe, and lighter than it's weight would have you believe!! Awesome for stacking up that time on feet!! Hey Andy, I did the Cognac Marathon today for my birthday, I am over the moon absolutely buzzing with a 24min PB ... I managed 3h37!! 💪🏻🏃🏻♀💪🏻 I never imagined such a time this time out... lots of tears at the finish line, one of my best birthday presents ever!! AND yes indeed lots of lots of Cognac too... a bottle for participating, a bottle of Creme de Cognac for finishing and a VERY VERY nice aged Cognac for winning my category!! EVEN Cognac shots at the aid stations!!😂 The 5 or 6-hour finishers had all very well taken advantage of the opportunity!!😂😂
Have you tried the Cloud Surfer 7, I love it! As for the Cloud Eclipse, I've done two runs, 14 miles total, in them and agree with everything you say, definitely one of the best easy day/recovery shoes I've tried!
I found the drop in the Cloudsurfer 7 to steap. It's 10mm but feels like much more. Also forefoot feel flat. But TTS. Tried the Cloudflow 4 but they are a bit LONG. Ordering them now a half size down.
Easy runs around 7:40-7:30/mile is kind of 4:40/km far from "easy" for me 🙂 wondering if running slower is still a good and confortable shoe. What about the forefoot width, wider than the hokas? thanks
Good width in the toe box… I have a wider foot and the room in these ONs are good, same as the stratus 3… the cloudflow 4 is narrower though so yes, generally wider than hokas, which I can find to be narrow
Ride 17 is a faster shoe, it’s got a bigger range! So if you just want an easy plodding shoe then this one 👍 if you want anything faster than an easy plodder, the ride 17
They copied what adidas did 10 years ago already with the X plastic part. This is not a speed plate, which is good since the speed plate is the only thing they came up with and it never worked. Now they copy what the other brands do it gets better. Great shoes to pick up your bib….
The speedplate in the stratus 3 is decent, it’s placed well in the shoe and gives it some good pop. I think in this one’s it’s just to “sure things up a bit”

I haven’t no sadly but did see it back in April at an ON event… it looked amazing!

AGREE on the Cloudsurfer 7, it's an incredibly noticeable drop, which is one reason why so many like it, but I didn't like it at all!!
I really like the look of on cloud monster & cloud eclipse, are they good for everyday use to work

How about this and the superblast?
Superblast will be much lighter and faster so a perfect combination!!
This or the Ride 17? Thanks Andy!!
