Hmmm my 900 got dropped of yesterday looking forward to learning took it into backyard this morning found 10 cent's so it's on it's way to paying for its self😇.
Gday Paul. I am liking it more and more. Nice and comfortable in the hand while using it. On a bit of a token run with it at the moment. You can’t not be happy with that. Might see you this week if you drop down😁👍
Liked the saw makers mark nice And a few coins cool A new screw in the shovel will fix that problem lol as u know A nice wonder in the bush Andrew cool Cheers 🍻 CrouchOz
Gday Crouch. Do like a saw medallion. Got a few now. I know a screw would but I am just holding off making a new handle. The koala was a brilliant find. Haven’t seen one around here. Heard them though. Take care mate 👍😁
Bit behind on my videos this week mate. Really enjoyed seeing the Nox 900 in action, and that saw medallion was a cracker Andrew!! Don't get many koalas in trees around Colchester, so was very cool to see the little fella....couldn't believe he could drop out of the tree & take you on though mate...far too cute!hehe Nice to see you wheedle out some coins & nice bits mate! Top job!!! Hope you & Liz are enjoying your Summer pal
Gday Mike. Yes it does take some getting used to. I am just digging the solid numbers. Any plip plop can stay in the ground. Hope you’re well mate 🦘🦘😁👍
Great going Andrew I’m a bit behind on u tube 😅 that watch chain you found in your last video was cool , I’d love to find a watch with chain and key attached 😂😂👍🏼
Great hunt with the 900 there Andrew with some nice relics and coins coming to light. You've got some potential overseas visitors now worried about drop bears!🤣 Cheers mate and catch you again next time.
Gday Gary. Quite happy with what I found. I was just doing my patriotic duty in warning folk to look out. It’s very Australian, like throwing another shrimp on the barbie. Take care mate 👍😁
Ooh that ground is looking seriously dry again! It's doing my head in trying to translate yet another machine's IDs to the ranges I know, but this was really interesting. Despite having a similar size ID range as the Deus 2, the target IDs are weighted very differently. Apologies in advance - I might not get to watch your next video on time, I believe some shenanigans may clash with your release schedule. Nonetheless, I shall see you when I see you, assuming you're not taken out by a dropbear in the interim! Cheers mate.
Gday Mish. Yes learning new numbers. I’ve just been going for solid targets. It’s not going too bad so far. I will say it does your head in in a rubbish dump or an area with a lot of different pull tabs. Looking forward to the family reunion. Roelf has just suggested a live stream??? I will try to avoid the drop bears Catch you soon 👍😁
I like the journeys that you take us on :) I would have dismissed that saw medallion as a bit of rubbish if you hadn't taken us on that little journey.
G'day Andrew! A commonwealth penny with a zero as the last number on the date, theres only 2 to choose from, but its not a 50 50 bet, more like 8.3 million to 1500, not good odds im afraid, And sad to say, your cup hath been runneth over!... Well I can match you with my only find for my last outing, a 1943 threepence. and my oddest find a few days before of a full bottle of old spice aftershave, the metal cap still attached but seeping, my fingers smelt freshly shaved! thought I was digging up an insulator from a power pole. Haven't seen a koala in the wild for many many years, that in itself is a magic find!.. I always enjoy my Saturday evenings out detecting with the CBK thanks Andrew, Cheers Mate! Hooray!
Gday Wayne. You never know. One day I may find a 30 detecting. I always look. 🤣🤣your fingers smelt freshly shaved. Love that. They would have smelt like my grandfather. It was great to see the koala. I have heard them around the area but that was the first one I have laid eyes on. Glad you come along detecting with me on a Saturday night. Very happy you like to. Might be a little family gathering this week 😉😉. Take care mate 😁👍
@@TheCoffeeBushKid A family get together, excellent! I wonder if it has anything to do with a young lady with sand between her toes, guess I wont know till Saturday! I will await with baited breath, no wait its vegemite! Cheers Mate, have a great time! Hooray!
@@roelf8653 G'day Roelf, it definitely surprised me, especially that it was full, I wonder if it was a hint about my odor, or that I needed a shave, probably both! Cheers Mate!
@@TheCoffeeBushKid I’m 100% guaranteed it is, I’ve used the Nox for over 5 years and tried every setting multiple times and nothing sniffs out those tiny silvers then field 1, I’m overloaded with work and family stuff going on at the moment and I’m absolutely itching to get out, unfortunately it won’t happen until next weekend being a long weekend..
Another hunt with some interesting finds Andrew, apart from the coins and silver three pence... what was the mysterious find at 13:30 ? must admit i never seen one let alone find one 🤣🤣🤣 ATB mate 👍 Tony
Howdy Andrew, Such a beautiful place and such lovely weather for metal detecting. Do you notice any improvement in the 900's performance over the 800's (ie goes deeper, separates better etc)? From what I've seen of the Manticore it doesn't seem like it will be the gamechanger the 800 was. The You Tube creators I've watched use it say it goes a little deeper but otherwise isn't to different from the 800. I'll be curious to see if it brings out a wealth of new targets in those places you've been hunting out. There doesn't seem to be a lot of deep stuff in them. I've read you can prevent Drop Bear attacks by smearing your face and neck with vegemite or by wearing a hat with corks hanging from the brim. I reckon you must have left your hat in the Ute. You seem a little to dignified to smear yourself up with vegemite whatever that is. Have fun with Mish. Do a live with her if your up for it please. You and Viv take care, Your buddy, Roelf
Gday Roelf. They are great places. The ground is now starting to get really hard. A little bit more grunting force it required. The 900 may go a little deeper. Haven’t done any testing on that. It is just what some folks say. Target separation is really good and the ability to separate ferrous from nonferrous is very impressive. I am really enjoying the overall feel of the machine. The way it feels in my hand, how short it packs up and ease of carrying. Drop bears. Vegemite is a vitamin B12, yeast salty spread you have on toast or in sandwiches or put o good spoon full in a stew to give it a bit more body. I don’t smear it on my face as it makes a mess in my beard but I did tell Mike from the detecting channel when we were over in the UK that it would promote beard growth if you rubbed it in to your beard and it would seem that he took my advice. Just between you and my, I think it might be all the BS I speak that makes my beard grow so well. Good fertilizer 🤣 I did mention a live stream to Viv but she said no. We still have audio issues and at some point need to get a two mike setup which we haven’t done. Got a big lot of stuff going on at the moment. Hope you and Mrs Roelf are well. Take care mate 🦘🦘👍😁
Gday Craig. I have already paid for a manticore. Just waiting to Australia to get some. We sent out two small shipments to some folks down here but the batch with mine in hasn’t arrived and Minelab doesn’t know when it will. Just borrowing the 900 while I wait. Hope the family is well. Take care mate 🦘🦘😁👍
