It's true -- I once bought 'no carb bread' (back when this was in stores everywhere) and left it in a friends bathroom, on the shelf as a joke. They told me that it never went moldy, even months later. It's probably in a landfill somewhere now, with a decomposition half life of 743 years, like plastic straws.
