    I once saw Eugene Levy shopping at the old Beverly Center mall in West Hollywood/Santa Monica. I asked him how his Canadian modesty helped him in hollywood. He said something like, "if no one knows who you are, they'll underestimate you." He then grinned and continued shopping.

      I'm a Canadian and this is one of the funniest comedians I can think of. I would like to see him in person.
      I grew up near the Maine border. My mother wouldn't not cross over into the US. We saw a lot of USA deer hunters, no respect for private property or Canadian laws. I tracked my family back to the mid-eastern USA in about 1774. Then crossed into New Brunswick and settled in the upper marimichi river area , on a homestead in 1818. Family sold out in about 1952 or so, my father's father died without a will, but with a relatively young family of boys. My father was the oldest but at war and just getting out. His mother had to take over the farm and had about 6 teenage boys. A lack of education and a lawyer left them without much help. A large corporation bought it up. The war did not help.

    Just noticed the tittle........... Canada & USA,,,,, abooot time someone wrote it correct as theres so many uploads on here saying America and Canada. Hurts my head as Canada is in America. So many uploads saying an American goes to Canada and im like ok so really an American goes to America lol America is the continent NOT the USA. spread the word lol

    • @dalepeto9620
      @dalepeto9620 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Kanata should be on it's own continent. The North Artic Tundra Continent.

    • @mrburns91
      @mrburns91 8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      not really, we live in North America, the continent but the actual name of their country is The United State of America. Ours is simply Canada. Its the same as the Country of Australia also being on the Continent of Australia. If someone from the country of Australia goes to the country of New Zealand, technically you are going to Australia (the Continent) but you wouldn't say that, you would say I am going to New Zealand, cause that's the name of the country. But if you were from New Zealand going to Australia the country, you would say, I am going to Australia, cause that's the name of the country. If you say I am going to North America you are going anywhere between Mexico and the North Pole, if you say you are going to America, you are going to The United States of America, because that's the name of the country.

      I am from the United States and I refer to my country as the "United States". Some people may say they are from America; however in school our class was taught that "America" means a continent. That continent could be North America, South America, or Central America. That same teacher instructed us that if we were to use that process of thought then every person in every country in North, South, and Central America is also "American".
