They could have used logic and escalated the matter to their boss if they were scared to lose their jobs or reported the matter to someone to try and act sooner and go check cause clearly they did eventually after seeing she wasn’t going anywhere.
If you listened the video the mother was half way through when she made that call before the daughter quickly dropped. Yes the fatal shot could have came from one bullet but something could have been done sooner. We can’t be apologetic and say they were doing their job

If ya'll are so strong, why do ya'll stay after the 1st red flag is shown to you?? the story was sad because instead of chosing herself and her kids, she chose to keep the ''perfect family'' look and ignored all the red flags... you know that man is the worst thing for you, but you still choose to stay, until it's too late... don't think i'm standing up for him, I'm noy, but we need to talk to women about enduring abuse because of Money and Status

Because there is difference between mental and emotional strength, people who are victims of DV struggle even more with taking the decision to leave cause of the dangers it involves, hence she was trying to find a job in another city or province. You are not wrong in your point ,but there's so much more to it once a couple has kids. But yes ,women should really try their best to leave such situations cause you only have one life. ...

@backpacker2773 because leaving is seen as weakness in most African culture and intentionally and unintentionally girls are taught while very young that a strong woman hold on to the perfect family picture. DV is never that simple it is rooted deep and it never starts with a gun shot to the head, it start small and progresses slowly and there is a high element of grooming. It's easy to talk when you have never experience or witnessed it up close and or dealt with people who have lived and survived it.

His family protecting an abuser because it’s their son is awful and one of the reasons why GBV is getting worse in the country. The precious doctor son was a murderer and a coward even the idea of putting his funeral up on TH-cam says a lot about the kind of family that raised him he was protected because of his status in society but he was definitely not a great human. Also when you are terrified, the adrenaline makes you pee a lot. I was in a car accident at 9, our car was hit by a bus on a dirt road. I recall peeing at least 5 times in the aftermath. I separated from the mother of my two boys, when it was happening, I couldnt accept it as I still loved her and the fear of not raising my kids first hand was too much. But in time I got to accept and the major reason for this, was that you cant force someone to love you, no-matter what. A broken family is way better than a toxic home, especially for the kids. I hate divorce and I wouldn't wish it on anyone, but if the other party doesn't want to stay let them go.

Two bright lights stolen. I wish more victims were able to speak up early. But as a private person myself I suppose I understand plus the shame that the person you chose is doing this to you is unbearable.
But Satan works best in darkness. Shed light on your hardships and you'll find that their grip on you won't be so strong.
