I am a retired geologist, so I just couldn’t resist adding a volcano. It came out terrific even with my beginner skills. Thanks so much!
Wonderful! Sounds great!!!
Absolutely stunning Paul…. His shirt - & the basket in boat exquisite. The contrast of his face , leg… wow! Your best…
Thanks a bunch Barbara!
Master teacher....but oh so humble....love to watch you every day!
Wow, thank you Jeanne!
Mr PAUL CLARK : unbelievable Artist !
Cheers - nice of you to say!
No splattering at all here?? Seriously, many many THANKS for such a beautiful painting, cristal-clear explanations, your tutorials are like the Philosopher Stone of Watercolour for me!
I agree! Since I am just learning to paint and to use watercolor, Paul's videos always teach me so much! I am so grateful and feel more confident with every tutorial from Paul!♥️
(P. S. I ALWAYS love the music you choose!!! Helps to put my mind at ease and also "in to" the painting!😉)
Thanks so much - and yes, just on the odd occasion, no splattering!!!
Just painted my first watercolour ever after stumbling across Paul’s tutorials on TH-cam. Never had an art lesson in my life. It wasn’t half bad for a first attempt. It wasn’t perfect but oh the enjoyment I had. Just bought Paul’s book which is fantastic for people like me who have never painted. Thank you Paul for your fantastic teaching.
My pleasure 😊 Jacqueline - keep in touch!
@@ArtbyPaulClark Oh I will. I am so hooked. Thank you so much. you are a fantastic teacher with a wonderful sense of humour. 🤣
Grand! Every time I watch this it comes closer to the top of my bucket list. Just waiting on my confidence to grow a bit.
You can do it!
What I like is that you give a sporty look to the entire painting while you add little jokes in it. Like sparkle bottle was brought in front and taken back when you were talking about sparkling in the water!!*******ha! Ha! Great humor!
Glad you enjoyed it!
You have a super steady hand, I need to use a ruler or piece of card to paint in the poles. Thank you for the free tutorials and drawings, very much appreciated. Cheers 🍷
You are so welcome!
No need any comments because......
it's just beautiful.... a sense of peace .
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Cheers!! ❤❤❤
@@ArtbyPaulClark I think you haven't seen yet my drawing of seagulls, MAESTRO.
If I live to be 100, I'll never be able to control a large brush the way you do. This is a very lovely painting!!!
Thanks so much - just lots of practice!
Very instructive and elegant. Thanks
Glad it was helpful!

Thank you for your excellent teaching
As always, I learned a lot of great things from you 🙏🙏🙏🌺🌺🌺

I really like this painting full of blue energy. Lastly, when I color the boat and the fisherman, it harmonizes with the blue energy and brings the painting to life.
Your videos are really useful because they always show you different techniques and explain how to use them successfully in the drawing process.
Thank you for always sharing good pictures and videos.
Always be healthy and happy.
That's a lovely comment - many thanks and pleased it was helpful!

I was really enjoying the monochromatic effect, yet the colour does bring it to a different kind of life. Both would be beautiful as a finished work, I think.
Thank you! Cheers Angela!

Very much appreciated in a summer period of lakes and sea!
Very good teaching like always!

Paul, it never ceases to amaze me how you can capture not only the beauty of a scene when you paint it, but also the atmosphere. You cannot help but feel the peace, quiet and overall serenity when looking at this wonderful piece. I so appreciate that you take the time to show us interesting things like, in this case, all the different hues Payne’s Gray, which I’d often wondered about. Fascinating ❤️
Thanks Didi as always!
Your lights are so great! What a peaciful feel! Thank you, teacher!

That is gorgeous, the orange made the painting really pop. Love it!

Wonderful tips and techniques. I have been in a lull the past few days in my painting and your tutorials give me a lift. I always look forward to your Wednesday tutorials - Thanks for your inspiration.
So great to hear Ruby!
I just enjoyed this very relaxing episode. Love the music and the painting. Thanks Paul! Will give this a go!
Glad you enjoyed it Jo!
Yes! Looks awesome.
Thanks Jamie!
Stunning reflections and as always you make it look easy. The handles on the bag in the boat made my eyes pop as how simply and quickly you made them perfect in one sweep! Brilliant. One of these days I am going to use my craft knife and scrape! Thank you for another great tutorial, the music was lovely and peaceful, except for two absolutely horrible notes, but only the wife of a classical musician would notice that. 🤣🤣😖 love how the paintings are taking us travelling without moving...
Glad you enjoyed it Alison and I do know what you mean about those two notes!
A very inspiring video this wednesday morning. To tell you the truth I didn't know how to paint water. Today learned to paint ripples in water and water itself. Thank you for this beautiful and realistic looking painting. The reflections in the water are awesome and show the work of a real artist.
You are so welcome
Thank you Paul for another insightful and entertaining tutorial. Nice to visit Asia, without a passport or corona, although you slipped in a Tiger instead. Cheers from Western Australia
Glad you enjoyed it!
WOW! I much enjoyed this lesson and watching the image appear, using your great techniques. Thank you too, Mr. Clark, for providing the drawing. Think I’ll give it a try as a loving tribute to my long-ago two years living in Hong Kong. (Cheers to you past and present students of KGV!). ☘️🙋🏼♀️
Great to hear Sharon - it could easily be in the bay in Hong Kong!
Paul Clark, I do respect you so, so much... you talent and your humility to share all this marvelous paintings with us are speechless. I was specially touched by the scene today, the combination of such a simple yet stunning scene that can bring us so many good thoughts about life itself and the soundtrack... I felt I was flooded with love! The first song is so tender and the painting coming to life is truly a blessing for all of us. Many, many thanks!
Wow, thank you
Beautiful painting!! Loving to watch your video. Thanks a lot for sharing.🙏
Thank you so much 😀
Agh, a beer. Right now I can imagine the cold, bold flavors of a BLUE, by Labatt’s here in 🇨🇦. Yep the high test! Just until I finish my treatments (hopefully) on August 1st. I’ll be watching you enjoy your suds of pleasure. Have a great day Peter. This is a great painting illustrating many techniques. Beautiful and inspiring.

Thank you! Cheers!
Hi Paul, It is so nice to see this painting and I really love it. This photo is in my country, Myanmar (Burma), among Bangladesh, India, China, Laos and Thailand. It was taken in Inle lake, in the eastern part of Burma. The second largest and situate 3000 ft. above the sea level. People live on the lake and know how to survive there, they row the boat with their leg standing at the age of the boat. They grow many of vegetables and flowers on the floating island. We call them Inthar.
Thank you so much Win 😀 that's great to hear and thanks for the interesting info and good to know where it is!
Lovely painting! I haven't painted in a while but this one is calling me. Thank you!
Go for it Katherine!
Thank you very much for your interesting step by step video. Your painting is awesome
Thank you so much 😀
