The problem with this music pack is, the game takes too long to start because i have to listen to the entire track on every mission briefing. The music is too awesome to skip.
Play it on Ironman Commander setting and you will have to spend every moment you get perfecting your squad and you get to be productive while listening to this. There is no "too long" when building a squad capable of taking on any challenge without as much as a scratch.

It's not easy, I'll tell you that. Sometimes retreat is not an option, but a necessity. And sometimes you somehow manage to keep enough guys with heavy lasers alive to fight off a terror mission that introduced you to Ethereals and their Sectopods. Literally nothing else can punch through it, like, Jesus Christ. But maybe I am still struggling in the mid game. I barely approach new airships, and it's still August. Things should be able to change.
@@garr_inc Well there's your problem, you're using Heavy Lasers, by far and above the worst weapon in the game. Rocket Launcher (small or large HE) does the same job, but better, and for far cheaper. Of course, this comment is a year old, you probably know this by now. Or just Spam High Ex, that never fails me.
@@kpmh2001 I tend to use RLs as problem solvers, not standard issue equipment. Regardless, now that I have played through The X-COM Files and halfway through The X-Piratez, I think the advice is a bit late to the party. Still, thank you for the input!
Played this going into the final mission. I really wish the actual DLC was available on consoles, but I had to settle for this. Regardless, the energy of this track really helped the feel of taking the fight to the aliens, and I thank this track for helping me get through with no deaths. (That, and the chosen weapons, those things are great).
instead of having regular soldiers in xcom 2 my squad consists of Aria'Tlok, dogulas the spartan from halo wars, Tucker from rvb, Deadpool, Nier, Republic commando's, Snake, Titanfall 2 pilots, imperial guradsmen, the mobile infantry and some Clone Troopers to boot.
I want to talk about picture of Skyranger from X-COM: UFO Defense Ufopedia from the video: on the picture it ascends at 30-35 degree angle, and at the same time he carries up to 14 soldiers or 10 soldiers and a freaking tank! And they just stand on the floor, there's nothing they can hold to... On arrival the only thing left will be minced meat... and tank...

This game didn't have to go so hard on the remake of the soundtracks, but it did anyways! And I appreciate how awesome this is - puts a huge smile on my face!
