Ranger with Phantom and Conceal or Reaper scouting in front to get eyes on the target. Two snipers with Squadsight in the rear. Bonus: equip ranger with Icarus armor to get him back quickly.
Yeah, I recently used that and wiped the floor. I am wondering if next game I shouldn't even bother building the defense matrix so I have a bit of a challenge. Though Chosen assaults are a concern then.
This was one of my earlier videos before i was able to add commentary. The point is that you light up the beacon with one unit, hit it with snipers and then run back. When i first played this mission i tried to bring up my whole army which makes it hard to pull back

If you have WOTC, defense matrix+engineer there make the mission a joke

I play in Legend... We are talking about 20 hard enemies just infront of you + the Assassin... its a joke
