I know i’m incredibly late to the party but I did the same thing in three turns with a Reaper, upgraded claymores, and a rocket-launcher grenadier. The claymores combined with another explosive are extremely powerful.
Yeah, I recently used that and wiped the floor. I am wondering if next game I shouldn't even bother building the defense matrix so I have a bit of a challenge. Though Chosen assaults are a concern then.
Yes the turrets are actually OP in this mission lol. I always just send 2 Reapers out to destroy the disruptor (and if they get revealed just activate Shadow) and have everyone else camp at the ramp and spam Overwatch lol. Makes this mission light work
This was one of my earlier videos before i was able to add commentary. The point is that you light up the beacon with one unit, hit it with snipers and then run back. When i first played this mission i tried to bring up my whole army which makes it hard to pull back

I play in Legend... We are talking about 20 hard enemies just infront of you + the Assassin... its a joke
