I actually like the development where the characters are finally noticing that whenever they want to know about something, the song and disturbing scenes start, Yellow guy didn't even want this episode to start, he just wanted sleep.
In episode 4 is when it first starts I believe. After mentioning that they need to know some way to get more information, they all silently look at the globe waiting for it to come alive. Eventually it does but Colin interrupts it before it could start singing. (Though, you can hear the globe in the glitchy segment and even see him while they are in the computer world) Red escapes and the next episode takes place without him. As expected, food comes alive but this time Duck becomes aware that something is wrong and he escapes the set. This leads to him dying and in the next episode (this episode) he is nowhere to be seen. If we are going by elimination, Yellow would have presumably taken the fate next.
6:38 the part where roy gently puts a hand on red's shoulder is my favorite part of the series. By this point, we know he is the villain, and the music when he steps out of the smoke reinforces it. It feels like the final villain monologue scene without any actual dialogue. Complete gold.

Creativity went wild when the puppets were being creative in ways Sketchpad didn't like, Tony killed the puppets shortly after Duck gave the actual interpretation of time, Colin sucked the puppets inside the digital world after Red hit him- even Lamp's entire song was crazy because Yellow didn't want to learn.

One of the theories is that when Red guy pulled the plug the trio had been freed and they where able to be what they wanted to be instead of what the singing objects told them what the have to be.
I just realized the bad part of Yellow's dream about drowning in oil comes from the first episode when his painting of the clown also drowns in oil/ruined by it.

in my opinion this is the most terrifying DHMIS. yellow guy goes throughout the whole series pretty much unbothered until he realizes the lil songs are killing his friends. in all the other ones, he doesnt really say or do anything to upset the “special guest” and he continues to live whereas red disobeys, leaves and dies. green duck guy noticed something was wrong when red guy went missing and he tried the entire time to get away and he becomes bird pie. yellow guy at that point can do nothing probably out of fear of getting killed himself. he continues on living sad until another special guest shows up and when they do, for the first time, he is terrified. so yes, in my opinion this is the most terrifying one because we watch them get picked off one by one and just the absolute panic yellow guy shows even though hes a puppet, terrifies me. absolute psychological.

This one is actually the happiest one. June 19th (Father's day) has finally ended so yellow guy isn't controlled by his father anymore. At the end they're all their favourite colours and they're doing what they've wanted to do
It feels very much like a metaphor for how broadcasting companies will supply you and fund you, but severely limit you and restrict the creative process
Isn’t it weird how in the red guys dream or imagination he’s very bored and not joining in and says that sounds really boring but in the “real world” he wants to make everything fun and be’s creative in his situations
Also, the other red guy's response to red guy's ideas about the files is "that sounds really boring", the same thing red guy said at the start of the first episode
i think what going on is that Red Guy in the first episode was a tween/teen that seemingly wants to grow up, but Red Guy in this episode (which is now an adult) misses being a young creative child. But, im not quite sure. This mini-series is quite intruiging to me, though.
Becuse he wanted to show his ideas to others, and if u sync up dhmis 1 and 6 with the ''whats youre favorite idea'' when everyone boos, thats when the chaos starts
This episode made me geniunely sad for yellow guy, his friends are gone, he is lonely and being controlled and he is being forced to watch the clock, computer and all the other objects that scared him
Everything seems to have worked out in the end though. The fact that Sketchbook isn’t summoned by Roy’s terminal at all suggests that she actually _wasn’t_ a creation of his, so her appearing at the end doesn’t mean that they’re still under Roy’s control (also reinforced by the date no longer being June 19th). And since they’ve all become their favorite colors, either Sketchbook’s lesson may go differently this time, or they’ve grown enough to be able to resist her.

Today is Father's day, I haven't thought about this show in years since I only saw the first episode. I randomly remembered it today and started watching. Now I'm kind of scared, it's too much of a coincidence that the show revolves around Father's day. And what's worse, when I finished the series, it was 12 a.m., June 20. The day after father's day It didn't occur to me till now that the calendar at the end of the show has the date change from 19 to 20

It's also very Twin Peaks, good show to watch if you want a show that starts out kind of both silly and a who-dunnit mystery with moments of real sadness/pain, and similarly to DHMIS it becomes this dreamlike hellscape. A lot of elements of this episode were directly inspired by Twin Peaks

its taken me years to understand this, but i do now. red guy, is the average middle class adult with a broad creative vision. when he shares his ideas with the people around him, they shut him down- leading to him retreating back to his own wonderland, the same day everyday so he can make up for what he didn’t have (might be a father since fathers day or just friends in general). soon, his thoughts turn more impulsive and intrusive, leading to thoughts of gore, cannibalism, death/slowly dying because maybe that’s something he wishes upon himself because of what others think about him- but since he’s living in his head, it murders them too and wipes them out. he goes BACK to reconnect with society to try and mask who he truly is creatively because he wants people to like him. when they don’t approve of him, yet again, he “pulls the plug”, he disconnects from society. the cycle starts all over, and when someone does the same thing over and over expecting different results, we identify this as insanity.

It's also very Twin Peaks, good show to watch if you want a show that starts out kind of both silly and a who-dunnit mystery with moments of real sadness/pain, and similarly to DHMIS it becomes this dreamlike hellscape. A lot of elements of this episode were directly inspired by Twin Peaks

red guy, is the average middle class adult with a broad creative vision. when he shares his ideas with the people around him, they shut him down- leading to him retreating back to his own wonderland, the same day everyday so he can make up for what he didn’t have (might be a father since fathers day or just friends in general). soon, his thoughts turn more impulsive and intrusive, leading to thoughts of gore, cannibalism, death/slowly dying because maybe that’s something he wishes upon himself because of what others think about him- but since he’s living in his head, it murders them too and wipes them out. he goes BACK to reconnect with society to try and mask who he truly is creatively because he wants people to like him. when they don’t approve of him, yet again, he “pulls the plug”, he disconnects from society. the cycle starts all over, and when someone does the same thing over and over expecting different results, we identify this as insanity.
