You seem to have made your video with the TMS9x18 palette, but the tip is that there are many different palettes for the MSX1, depending on the VDP and TV-Encoder chip used. - TMS9x18 - TMS9x28, TMS9x29 with 50% saturation (this is the most recognised as the MSX1 palette, and was featured in the majority of models) - T6950, T7937(A) - V9938 (same palette as MSX2/2+/TR) The MSX2/2+/TR all have the same default palette.
I’m considering buying a MSX 1 (that’s the only one available in my country) , my question is : ¿are the games compatible between them? Specially the better games such as Metal Gear, Castlevania and so on..thanks!

Nice video. 👍👍
Thank you, Your comments stimulated my enthusiasm.
Nice. Can you compare graphics of MSX / MSX2 / MSX2+ / MSX Turbo R? Would be awesome!
I'll try it soon.

Games like Metal Gear and Castlevania are for msx2 only. Therefore, you cannot play on MSX1.
