MSX vs MSX2 color palette comparison - (.feat) SALAMANDER

I used green monitor when I was MSX1, so the color on MSX1 seems unfamiliar.
Which MSX color do you like?

You seem to have made your video with the TMS9x18 palette, but the tip is that there are many different palettes for the MSX1, depending on the VDP and TV-Encoder chip used.
- TMS9x18
- TMS9x28, TMS9x29 with 50% saturation (this is the most recognised as the MSX1 palette, and was featured in the majority of models)
- T6950, T7937(A)
- V9938 (same palette as MSX2/2+/TR)
The MSX2/2+/TR all have the same default palette.

I used MSX1 all my life. So for me the MSX2 is a little weird

I’m considering buying a MSX 1 (that’s the only one available in my country) , my question is : ¿are the games compatible between them? Specially the better games such as Metal Gear, Castlevania and so on..thanks!

Games like Metal Gear and Castlevania are for msx2 only. Therefore, you cannot play on MSX1.
