- The MSX - Yamanooto 8MB edition has arrived.
I’ve decided to store all of Konami’s games onto this cartridge and test the sound of the Stereo-SCC and the PSG built into the Yamanooto.
I’ve always been concerned about the balance between the SCC sound and the internal PSG on different MSX systems, and I’ve also been quite frustrated with the fact that the SCC’s multiple channels output in a single.
In this regard, the price of this cartridge makes it an easy choice without hesitation.
I’ve captured some footage of a few representative games in the video.
Recorded through Yamanooto cartridge's audio-out jack.
Hi, I'm Jllerma, I hope you liked the Yamanooto cartridge.
Many thanks to those who made it possible, for this incredible piece of hardware for MSX
I'm glad to have gotten to know you through your wonderful hardware. Thank you.
@@toughkidcst In fact, I neither design nor manufacture hardware, that is far from my knowledge, all credit goes to Miguel Fides (hardware design), FelixFX (flashing software) and those who tested the firmware.
That board will be used for the Monnlight Saga reedition!.
Great!
I also have an 8mb board, can I flash the ultimate collection?

@@toughkidcst thanks, actually I also have a yamanooto 2mb! how did you pass it to 8mb?
@@lolojapan51 When I heard that they were making 8MB, I quickly made a reservation.
If you order now, you probably won't have any problems purchasing it.
Good luck!
@@toughkidcst ok thank you I will ask to order one!
I am also interested in flashing the Konami Ultimate Collection like in your video, how did you go about using the dedicated mapper?
@@lolojapan51 I have modified the ROM file to the Yamanooto cartridge specification. Since the firmware for the Yamanooto 8MB version is currently being improved by the developers, I plan to adjust the ROM file accordingly once the development is complete.
Works with konami ultimate collection rom from file-hunter without mods?
Need mods.
