I think Yesterday by the Beatles should’ve been on here, yes it is actually old but great acoustic and then there’s Dust in the wind and for a not so known song Take a Look Deep Inside of You by Eric Gales

Been picking up and putting the guitar down for the last around 6years, I never really learned it because I continually became frustrated, but I eventually do go back to trying to do it again. I tried doing wonderwall this time around, and I was actually almost able to make it sound right haha. I was taking lessons for some time and then stopped and those lessons did actually help me a bit, the accountability of actually having to practice and show my instructor what I learned helped me a lot and actually got me to make some progress. My instructor also got me reading sheet music and it’s such a different ball game learning to read basically another language while trying. It’s extremely difficult, but it is pretty fun.
Late to the party but loved this... and 'Wish You Were Here' is always a good one, too... iconic yet easy, I was astonished to be able to play it confidently so early in my guitar journey...
The hand in lap tip exposed a problem I didn't know I had. Every song I play I have to star by making the first chord shame as a jumping of point. I'm definitely going to be practicing that
Well I play a lot of songs on the acoustic, since Unplugged takes no prisoners! Let's see: Many of horror by Bify Clyro, Plush by STP, Nutshell by Alice in Chains, Hunger Strike by Temple of the Dog, Santeria by Sublime with or without Rome and many more.
I have a different perspective being a recovering drummer, Everlong was one of my favorite songs to drum. Over 3 minutes of 16th notes is just about every drummer’s badge of honor. It’s on my list of songs to learn.

Just started playing guitar last week and decided to try and learn wonderwall…. I’m glad you said it’s more advanced so I feel better about myself
"Drive" by Incubus
Not that easy of a song but very fun once you get it down
You'll appreciate this, Tyler. There's a pub in Cottage Grove, Oregon with a "No Wagon Wheel" sign. It's the 21st century Stairway 😆
My favorite must be Smoke on the water, its pretty hard ngl
@@zamppa3974 its comedy
Wagon wheel is the first song I ever learned and it’s easy to learn quickly. I always played it a little different with the chords on the second switch with a G D CC. It’s a great song all around
Good work. However, please bare in mind that : “Hurt” was actually written by Trent Reznor of the alternative industrial rock band, Nine Inch Nails.

My Favorite Song on the Accoustic is definetly Patience by GnR. This Song just makes so much Fun to Play!
I really hate Chris Cornell's cover of that song. It lacks all emotion and depth.
@@thepagnaet6361 I'm with you on that, if it comes on the radio I immediately change it..its really really lame,,hacked it ip..imho..
agreed love playing that one, first thing I learn that had any non basic techniques involved
@@johnsalaman503 oh good, I thought I was the only one.
Every rose has its thorn. Fun to play 🤟
the best is where did you sleep last night by nirvana on mtv unplugged
My favorite band, but I do prefer to play it the og Leadbelly way.
Late to the party but loved this... and 'Wish You Were Here' is always a good one, too... iconic yet easy, I was astonished to be able to play it confidently so early in my guitar journey...
My favourite acoustic song to play is never going back again. If u have the time learn it, u won’t be disappointed
The hand in lap tip exposed a problem I didn't know I had. Every song I play I have to star by making the first chord shame as a jumping of point. I'm definitely going to be practicing that
Just one item: "Hurt" was actually written by Trent Reznor of NIN , Johnny Cash did a cover of it.
Yeah I'm pretty sure he already knows that but he was showing the Johnny Cash arrangement so the original version is irrelevant to this lesson
Fun fact: the intro to old Town road was written by Trent as well 👍
fun fact! Put a capo 5th fret playing Wagon Wheel and you're now playing Over The Rainbow!
The Super Bowl was a great watch yesterday.
No it was boring
3:40 definitely a southern staple. Everyone here in Kentucky knows it by heart.
Nice!
Santeria technically isn't an acoustic song but it still sounds nice on the acoustic for sure
You can play anything, with that D'Angelico even one single chord sound fantastic!
Wait a Moment. THAT'S A D'ANGELICO 😍😍🍂🍂
No one talkin about it but whoa what a headstock (and guitar of course) !!
I have a different perspective being a recovering drummer, Everlong was one of my favorite songs to drum. Over 3 minutes of 16th notes is just about every drummer’s badge of honor. It’s on my list of songs to learn.
I don't know if it is my favorite, but I absolutely adore the acoustic version of Nutshell -Alice in chains
Over the hills and far away - Led Zeppelin
This song taught me about my love for hammer ons and pull offs. Sounds slammin on the acoustic when you get it right.
Me: I’m a guitarist
Also me: can only play one song
And that song is either the smoke in the water intro, seven nation army, or twinkle twinkle(if you take lessons)
If you can play "Wonderwall", then you already know two other songs: "D'You Know What I Mean?" and "Writing to Reach You".
Try Everlong in DADGAD on acoustic. Use the additional open strings. It’ll change your life!
Everlong... guess it's "time to tune my E down to D and let the struggle begin" lmao.
Soooo glad to see ya back and ok Tyler...
Much luv ❤❤❤ sent your way !
