Generally mainline series operation 1 will coincide with compendium file 1. I'd suggest alternating, but can be enjoyed either way
Little behind on my TH-cam listening lately, but I just wanted to say what a GREAT Zombie story! I've always loved the way you narrate a story and this one was no exception! I'd come to say "I really hope there is part 2,3,4...." but you already answered it!!
Hey Brother the Black screen is a nice touch. I've got a job that usually starts at around Sunset. So when I'm setting in the dark passing time with one Ear bud in an one out. It's nice to not really having to worry about the bright screen being seen so easy lol 😆

if the first thing someone did during the start of the apocalypse or even the end of the world was to rush over to my place and get me like that i would probably be the happiest person alive at that moment because it means that someone truly cares about me and wants to protect me
I actually been listening to these stories and audio books while playing killing floor 2 and Dead Island 2. Makes the experience more enjoyable 😉
So what’s everything in this series? I’d like to listen to them back to back in chronological order on my next day off or even when in the kitchen at work. I noticed you narrated a few that have to do with the Umbral group, but idk how many there are and how far back they go. You do a great job with this style of story and I’d really like to put them all in a playlist. I’d say you’re my new favorite next to Dark Somnium and Dr Creepen. It’s rare to find a narrator who helps to capture the atmosphere of the situations in these stories. Kinda wish I found you sooner. Keep it up, man, I have full confidence you’re gonna become a big name in the narration circle. A lot of people sound too happy and cheerful when telling intense or scary stories and don’t really properly reflect the emotions and tension needed to get immersed.
Dr creepen is my favorite would be could if these 3 collabed love this series as well

NEVER give an untrained unknown Civilian a Weapon! Sheep are frightened and bad, but Armed Sheep are Frightened, Bad, and DANGEROUS TO EVERYONE. There are too many ways arming someone who may not know how to properly use a firearm can go horribly wrong.

Yep, I definitely like the blank screen if you just have a pic. Like it when you touch the screen you can see all the buttons especially at night, saves batteries. Maybe have a function button to get a blank screen or it lights up every 15mins for 10secs for passing time...

Umbral like in relation to "Eclipse" which is the name of the initiative and the series. Plus Umbral goes well with shadowy happenings and such.
Umbral: the fully shaded inner region of a shadow cast by an opaque object, especially the area on the earth or moon experiencing the total phase of an eclipse.

Wouldn't 28 Day then be a rip off of Night of the Living Dead? So say anything is a rip off in this day and age is tough to do when everything has some inspiration form something even if just the high level concept.
@@MagnetarYT Of course you are right, all we can get nowadays are variations of stories already told. And I am not even saying that this is a _bad_ story, let alone that the narration is not, as always, spot on.
I guess it's the story about a rapies virus which does not kill its victims, but is specifically altered in a lab to induce mindless rage and bloodlust and can be transmitted by a single drop of saliva that got me the wrong way and reminded me of '28 Days Later' so much. And calling the evil corporation 'Umbrel', I guess that was meant as a nod to the RE games, but still...
