How to Vacuum and Recharge Your Car's Air Conditioning

Today I replaced the high pressure air conditioning line on an '89 Oldsmobile Delta 88. I also vacuumed and recharged the system manually. In this video I go over the basic steps and give some tips.

I have a 1992 Oldsmobile 88 Royale how can I tell if the AC compressor is working?

When you add the gas and pressure is at 30 is it OK to leave it for a couple of hours to check for pressure loss or is 30 to low

Never charge on the high side fyi u should only charge ur system through the low side keep the high side closed

As long as the system is off, you can charge on either side. The pressures will equalize anyway. If the compressor is running, DO NOT try to charge on the high side.
