things to consider 60hz and more frames will break your pc screen it’s good when there is does moments of weird ass random attacks in site (bc it drops your frames to the 60frame rate start line) but you mostly definitely will see how , players running or enemies peaking in corners much more faster and sometimes will get cut in half making it harder to see and don’t even start with the lag sometimes , plus even more if you have a high sensitivity and a low refresh rate on your monitor screen you will most certainly will see enemies cut in half or even the screen it self , or you pray that you won’t have lag spikes , frame drops and sometimes weird screen glitches or don’t even start with the pixels and stuff like it , I started valo as I started gaming on pc 6 months ago and my pc is decent but I’m playing with a 60hz monitor that I can count the pixels of the enemies head (and yesterday I was talking about this and I’m surely certain that you get nerfed while playing with a old screen, or just a screen with not some kind of decent performance, just watch tenz or any competitive player play with a monitor 144 or even 240hz and higher) Skill is a thing but sometimes there is pc or WiFi or screen problems that make it difficult for you to achieve goals in gaming

I overclocked the monitor to 75Hz and play valo . Theres also frame drops my fps will go from 74(fixed) to , at the lowest , 35-36, in an instant , there's input lag too , ping diffs , mouse and keyboard response times to take into consideration as well. So much shit happening and then recently i somehow dont get the Nvidia reflex low latency option which i had set to On+boost . Apart from that theres weird shit happening with latency , i shoot shots and see that i hit a clear shot in a clearly open area which will later show as wallbangs and theres also times i hit 5-6 bullets to the enemy and it registers 3-4 . Dunno what the fuck is happening fr.
I remember playing a Half-Life mode named Action Half-Life. All the others had at least decent PCs at that time, only I had a toaster, and when the shootings were starting I couldn't even move. I had to disable my antivirus in order to get at least 20 fps, hoping that someone doesn't hack my exposed machine. Or later Dirty Bomb with an AMD Bulldozer CPU was even worse, so I know very well how it's gaming on a subpar PC.
having high fps with 60hz monitor is still different than 60fps and 60hz, because the higher frame, the lower input delay. Also it's better to change your refresh rate in the settings to 60 hz, not limiting 60fps in valorant with 360hz, the timings of the monitor will be worse
Think of it this way -- my monitor is a 360hz monitor, therefore it can output a 'maximum' of 360 frames per second. Even if my frames in game go above 500, I can still only see 360 frames a second. But the same goes when you have lower frames! If you have a 360hz monitor, and your game only puts out 60 frames a second, then you can only see 60fps regardless of your monitor

Hey try playing on 30 fps and thats also dropping when you shoot. Maybe that will help you :D
5:03 that looked like my NA plat games but you're the enemy jett and they win they round
BRO that not the legit 60hz gameplay , your monitor is still set on 360hz in windows display settings which is giving you 2.77ms response time with 60fps , you have to change your hz settings from windows display settings to 60hz . or get a 60hz monitor then you can have true 60hz experience with 16.67ms response time, then you can set your in game fps to unlimited.
How is he still getting 2.77ms response time with 60fps? Isn't capping frames enough to increase latency? You can test it out on the range by turning on every telemetry and change the fps from uncapped to 60
Maybe Noctile really is just a great player who can adjust easily
“Is 60hz playable?” 💀💀💀
try 30fps that drops to 5fps WeirdChamp
Exactly 😌 I'd be grateful to have stable 60fps all the time, that's all I want
I keep Ascendent 1 on Asian server with an office laptop that is 59.88hz (to be exact).
Same here my FPS drops to 20 the moment WW3 happens and this makes me not want to play the game anymore. XD
I think this is the limit. I need better gear to get a higher rank. (Waiting for the graphics card 50 series)
this inspired me to keep grinding on my 60hz 2013 iMac
Great 😃👍
wait you can play val on mac?

things to consider 60hz and more frames will break your pc screen it’s good when there is does moments of weird ass random attacks in site (bc it drops your frames to the 60frame rate start line) but you mostly definitely will see how , players running or enemies peaking in corners much more faster and sometimes will get cut in half making it harder to see and don’t even start with the lag sometimes , plus even more if you have a high sensitivity and a low refresh rate on your monitor screen you will most certainly will see enemies cut in half or even the screen it self , or you pray that you won’t have lag spikes , frame drops and sometimes weird screen glitches or don’t even start with the pixels and stuff like it , I started valo as I started gaming on pc 6 months ago and my pc is decent but I’m playing with a 60hz monitor that I can count the pixels of the enemies head (and yesterday I was talking about this and I’m surely certain that you get nerfed while playing with a old screen, or just a screen with not some kind of decent performance, just watch tenz or any competitive player play with a monitor 144 or even 240hz and higher) Skill is a thing but sometimes there is pc or WiFi or screen problems that make it difficult for you to achieve goals in gaming
u shouldve changed ur fps back to 240 in mid game to see the difference. im immo 3 60hz its definitely doable instead of relying on reaction time u just have to play mind game and predict where enemies are going to be and just prefire.
Wow immo 3? im new at this game and have 60hz too, do you prefer to lock the fps to 60 or not? as i have an annoying screen tearing
@@r1tsukA dont limit the fps to 60 set it to 300 just let it be. it will feel less delayed and more snooth. i have been playing on 60hz like 8 9 years. also how much fps do u have. bcz it will matter a lot

No es igual jugar a 60 fps con un PC bueno porque tiene todo que además son estables.
Deberías jugar con un PC que realmente es el tope 60 fps así vas a poder saber cómo es en realidad
With 75hz I got ascendant but honestly there is a moment when it is almost impossible, you have to play off angles and avoid direct fights, makes you find a better positioning in the map but getting a 1v1 or a peek is f*cking imposible sometimes
lol I just upgraded to 240 hz from 60 hz ngl I was stuck in bronze and silver 1 since I upgraded I hit g3 lol not much but since I was console gamer it's good enough.

Definitely not impossible to get high rank on a 60hz monitor, just difficult. NDG, current sentinel player for Team Secret, reached radiant rank 72 on a shitty 60hz laptop that was dropping frames during gun fights. So it's definitely doable

That is not all we face , i have a 15-16 year old LCD samsung monitor , it has deadpixels in bottom right of the screen, a 5ms response time 60hz refresh rate .
2:47 very unexpected, first time viewer lol
I remember playing a Half-Life mode named Action Half-Life. All the others had at least decent PCs at that time, only I had a toaster, and when the shootings were starting I couldn't even move. I had to disable my antivirus in order to get at least 20 fps, hoping that someone doesn't hack my exposed machine. Or later Dirty Bomb with an AMD Bulldozer CPU was even worse, so I know very well how it's gaming on a subpar PC.
I've reached Plat with potato laptop, it is a nerf indeed, but if you try to adapt by using cheezy tactics, you'd still be able to rank up
my monitor is 60hz and my average fps in game is 45 or 50. 30fps on Breeze
ok but 60 fps isnt the same as 60 Hz, i have like 200 fps and a 60Hz monitor
It is not the thing you are playing 60fps it is the thing you are getting 60fps constantly.
bruh i just hit ascend playing 60hz bro its not about hz its about yo skill
i get 40 fps at best situations, and when the smokes and effects go down, ESPECIALLY ASTRA WALL, i get 15 fps
me on 60hz lap .. fighting in plat 3
can u try on 30 fps, 60 hz monitor
Bro just locked his fps to 60 fps , still playing in 240hz :D.
having high fps with 60hz monitor is still different than 60fps and 60hz, because the higher frame, the lower input delay. Also it's better to change your refresh rate in the settings to 60 hz, not limiting 60fps in valorant with 360hz, the timings of the monitor will be worse
you were playing on 60fps in 240hz monitor not 60fps in 60hz monitor, however I don't know the difference
Think of it this way -- my monitor is a 360hz monitor, therefore it can output a 'maximum' of 360 frames per second. Even if my frames in game go above 500, I can still only see 360 frames a second.
But the same goes when you have lower frames! If you have a 360hz monitor, and your game only puts out 60 frames a second, then you can only see 60fps regardless of your monitor
there is no difference basically
"a bad workman blames his tools"
I climbed to immortal 3 with 60fps now kinda quitting knowing i will never reach radiant on a laptop
broo stable 60 fps vs UNSTABLE 60 fps hits different
Is a 240HZ monitor good enough to play in??
2:47 GOTTA LOVE PHILLIPENO PLAYERS!!
"aray ko ptang 1na mo" got me XD
The" aray ko putangina inamo" got me broo
So it is why im stuck on silver cause im playing on 35 fps? Or im always playing against smurfer?
Been playing in a 60hz monitor that drops to 10 fps when enemy peeks me. Got to plat 2 somehow.
Now I'm finally getting a laptop with 144hz.Cant wait to play the game again on a better device 😁
I'll tell you though. I've done this before with my XL2546K, it's a complete other story to play 60hz with just the visual lag like this, and a whole other story to play on a pc that actually gives you 60hz and like 100fps... That's already basically unplayable for me.
how nice that he said at 60Hz and is still playing at 240Hz at 60fps like its not the same to play at 60fps at 240Hz vs vs at 240fps 60Hz
for me , does'nt matter how bad you are, if you have good device, you just need more play game will improve your game play will good, but bad device? i don't know
I tried playing on pc on a 60hz monitor and it felt terrible, but on console it’s so much better with the same monitor
The problem is that you have a a stable 60fps but most people go like 30-60-20-1-30 and then back to 60
i don't know how, but just putting my refresh rate from 165hz to 60hz made my aim better? although it looks really choppy to me i still got better aim than with 165hz, maybe its because im used to the input lag on 60hz? im not sure
you are probably used to 60hz mor and your aim is better on 60hz, you need to play more on 165 and get really used to it
@@PIETAdollarsign that proves that frames dont matter though, if youre used to 60fps 144fps shouldnt make you worse
@@mcnub7379 you just get adjusted to it a bit 60 personally looks terrible to me now but i would say its just a placebo if you do better on 60 at first. 144 for me just feels more consistent and feels more accurate to what i should be seeing
