- Learn how to create the permanent fold for a hat brim with Loom Knitting. You will knit several rounds, it could be 12 or 13 rounds for a baby hat and maybe 18 rounds for an adult hat.

I started loom knitting 7 years ago when I was 65. I learned to knit with needles when I was 15 in a Home Economics class. My teacher loved knitting so that was what she taught. I bought a how-to book and am a self taught crochet addict as well. I saw a video on loom knitting and decided to add that to my yarnie repertoire when I turned 65. Yarn crafts are so much fun and so addictive.
I love loom knitting. I learned from you a while back how to make socks !! Hats are so easy to make and it goes so fast.
I have been watching you for years now and I am so grateful for all your work. I share your videos a lot and one of these days if you ever do the cruises again, I am gona make it!

OMG, so funny you are using the cricut weeding tool for that. I love mine too for all sorts of things besides its intended use lol. You could so totally use a ball point pen or maybe even rig up a diamond painting tool for that Norwegian thingy tool :) I don't loom knit, I regular knit, but don't mind watching.
When knitting brim does the closed brim row (hope that makes sense) act as the starting point (row 1)of the hat portion of the beanie or is row 1 the nxt row after brim closer ? Just curious, thanks I appreciate it
