What everyone has to remember is that this is the Lamborghini of SXS’s. We have to give up some creature comforts and pay a high price. I wouldn’t pay $200k for a car but I’m glad they exist!
Ive heard the comparison that the Maverick R is the F1 car of sxs, and the Pro R is the monster truck of sxs. I dont see how thats wrong or a diss on either one lol
No more belts! I saw this today in the showroom. I was impressed. Very comfortable to sit in and I'm 6, 1". It is a beast and meant for wide-open terrain. It is very expensive but it is packed with technology and is unique (45K US). I have to say I like it and would be tempted to buy it.
Incredible machines! Its so sad to see them get bashed because of the different look on the front suspension. Hopefully next year the build quality is up to Can-Am standards. Its nothing I'd buy, but damn they are amazing to watch! Very promising platform
My dad owns the bombardier brand in my country. I no longer talk with him so you know I am not biased and I don’t touch this products. But they showed us for the BRP anniversary back In 2011 a 6 speed turbo can am concept that where planning to release a decade after. I guess this is the result of all that research. It was shown to us at there innovation center in Montreal
Great video. Not a machine for me but impressive nonetheless the less. Though if I lived near sand dunes this would what I want. Btw. The colour correction was not applied to one clip in the video. In case you were not aware. Always enjoy your videos.
like allways...love the way of your presentation ! i wonder why it is so quite around speed utv...and why nowbody test the 2 seater and compare it to the others ?
I have a Bronco-Sport and sounds to me like the paddle shifter on either work the same! (Yes, Bronco-Sport is an Automatic but, has paddle shifters!) I use them all the time as I go into a Round-about to slow a little! (Without brakes!)
How is the stock suspension on whoops at high speed? I’m trying to figure out if I should buy the Smart Shox version or the RS and wait until Shock Therapy releases their tune.
Should have made it 72 inch wide. Yea... I know it might be coming. After you put paddles on it's going to be close to 90 inches wide. Just to wide for my trail and dune areas.
Great another sxs Great idea on the transmission Where the hell is the updated race or sport atvs The atv industry doesn’t even get crumbs compared to the sxs market Great that the sxs market gets major updates every year Raptor 700 basically unchanged since 2007 with minor revisions Dirt bikes and adventure bikes get updates and major changes But not the atv industry overall
Its actually been a pretty stellar year for ATVs from Can-Am. The new Outlander line is awesome. I'm hopeful that manufacturers besides Yamaha revive their pure sport lines and I'd love to the a DS with a 2-stroke ETEC engine like Can-Am originally planned. That would be amazing.
I'm still not sold on the suspension and I kinda wanna see how it all holds up after some heavy riding it seems like there is alot of stuff that could go wrong and be expensive to fix
And? That's 1 machine built and maintained by a team of professional mechanics and engineers I'm talking about 2500 miles of hard riding over the first year to see how everything holds up for the most part
although now concidered the top dog its way to expesive for normal working class plus its basically a wide open dune buggy ya cant trail ride it to wide ya cant put bigger tires on it to me engine and trans are the best things about it now if they put it in a 64 inch wide chass and do something differnt with the goofy upper suspendion arms and youd have something plus the cost hell you can tune n clutch kit a 200hp can ham n gain enough hp to keep up n probably beat it for less money just to big n goofy looking n to much money n not gonna ride it in any trails thjis is open road gravel road cruiser
Be careful when you ride a production model, on mine the cheap plastic will fly off and center hood can hit you in the face. You are better than this can am. Most stuff on center screen not available to change if car is moving? Looks are not the problem with this machine it has far bigger problems.
Actually, we know we're behind a bit on this. This was our first time getting a chance to ride it and by now the internet has moved on. We've spoken to Can-Am about it and they know they messed up by not getting us there for the launch - especially considering the exposure the Ranger XD 1500 got when Polaris had us there for its launch. Anyways, we'll just do our job and if you guys wanna watch what we have to say, great. If not, we'll just keep doing what we do.
@@dirttraxtv Thanks for that. That’s an excellent explanation! You guys don’t have to explain anything to people like this though. Most viewers realize it takes time to get a new model to review and in some cases longer than others. True supporters understand that and still wait for a review from you guys no matter who got a video out before! You’re #1. No question. Keep up the excellent work and ignore bone heads like little Dougy here. He watches lots of reviews from the comfort of his mom’s basement so he knows best! 😂😂 have a good weekend gents!
I just love my Can-Am Defender with enclosed cab and heating and AC. It works for me!❤electric windows also👍😎

Well said. 🙌

200k for a Lamborghini... that's poverty spec, terrible comparison; clearly you don't get it
Oh I’ve been waiting for this!! A no BS review on the Mav R let’s go.

Can’t wait to see the ride looks awesome way out of my price range
Heck ya. $54,799 in Canada and $44,299 US
@@dirttraxtv It's priced right for what it is, a full on desert racing machine.
That engine tech with the turbo sounds really interesting.

This started with the Kawasaki Mule and Yamaha rhino things have gotten pretty wild

Thank you so much for such an amazing and detailed review of a vehicle, I hope to i'm very soon
Got to test one today what a machine 90mph on the trail had to slow down cause people were driving to slow in front lol

Amazing video... at 11:00 the video is still in its dlog form un color graded
Good catch!

I like the seating position
Going for $10k off right now. Hard to pass that up.

Ya , put them on the back burner. I love my atv.
Can am. Has the best suspension & looks like there building quality ?
Did it not come with speakers??
I'm still not sold on the suspension and I kinda wanna see how it all holds up after some heavy riding it seems like there is alot of stuff that could go wrong and be expensive to fix
Dustin Jones recently won the Silver Lake 300 driving this machine.

I agree, but even way back in the days. Can am had the best suspension.
How do you get bigger tires on it if the knuckle is over the tire?
35’s fit just fine.
Tesla has been doing that suspension for a really long time
Same lights as g5 ski doo sleds I think
TIRES & WHEELS
Front / Rear Tires ITP Tenacity XNR 32 x 10 x 16 in.

does it have fron locker??
Yes

Would like to see better shots of the Interior instead of you
Unfortunately there’s no where near me where you can ride that. Even at Jericho park in nh you wouldn’t be able to truly open it up like at desert
