Ya i know. I think the front bottom winch mount is still there so hopefully you can put the winch back to normal spot and use a XT bumper bc not only is there no protection but that winch sticks out pretty far
I just ordered one of these and can’t wait to get it on the trails! I’ll be uploading videos from now on this channel. Should be here for Christmas! 🤞Thanks for the review
I am a Highlifter owner for the last 4 years. I have been very happy with the atv. It looks like the new outlander has made a lot of improvements that now match the highlifter edition. Glad to see it. My only question is what gear ratio the high gear is. Many people know that the downside to the highlifter is that short gear. Also I wish my quad had that much power :] The only concern I would have at this point is with all that designing for the heat to move through the middle of the bike. How will mud and water go through there and how hard will it be to clean in there. The after market muffler is going to be a challenge to change form the looks of this video.
@@ramtruck2011able no doubt the grizzly is an awesome bike,it would be great to see Yamaha join in on the big bores,I myself ride a lot of mud so the xmr is right down my alley and in my opinion the best out of the box mud bike, at the end of the day no matter what kind of bike we ride it’s all about having fun!
I’m interested to see if the 700 xmr has the same features. I’m looking to get one this spring! I have a 19 xmr defender and need a quad to get to a couple tight trail fishing holes I go too!
Tons of improvements over the Gen 2. It 'should' be a very capable Mud Machine right out of the box, that the average rider can leave stock. The P drive clutch is a HUGE Plus. Can't wait to see one in action...
I like the head lamps an rear lights also the winch in a good spot I I have a 21 xmr 1000r she's a beat didthey , all too breaks on the rear, did they fixed that shift er for plastic to metal, I like the excust
Where is the battery located? I've seen a few people complaining that it's getting covered in debris and concerned about it. Just curious where it's actually located
Under the rear right fender. You need to take the plastic cover off from time to time, and take the dirt off the battery because it is alway full of dirt, even if you don t ride in mud. And you need to put electric grease on the battery terminals
Ok, can i ask some advice. Going to order a new quad. I love the look of this thing but would probable be doing mostly trail riding. Thinking of this thing with less aggressive tires, or should i just go with the outlander max xt-p? Thanks
I didnt have a camera operator for this one. Ran the camera myself so I didnt have extra hands to pull the plastic off. But yes, when we get one at our home base we will absolutely pull all the plastic off so you guys can see how easy it is.
I love the video. Thank you. I made a full payment for mine. I've been waiting for 2 months now. Apparently they have not been released yet any idea when they will be released?
I didnt get to actually ride the XMR at this intro. We will have one soon enough to test fully. But my video on the XT-P deals with the power and the motor is the same so itll be similar.
Make the long chasis as an option for 2 up riding! I want everything the XMR has to offer, but I am NOT mud riding! I am an RC Vehicle Fanatic of 35+ years, I've bought, built, raced, and bashed hobby grade RC cars and trucks for that long. I am one of those, better to have it and not need it than need it and not have it guys. I went mud bashing with my RC trucks, and it was an absolute blast, but cleaning, after the fun was over was a pain in my @$$, therefore; I don't want to mud ride ever again, however; I still want the features and capabilities that the XMR 1,000 has to offer in a 2 up version, and I will pay top dollar for it! I am sure that I am not alone in this. I am a large man who stands at 6'5" tall and weighs 360 lbs, I wear between a size 15-17 shoe! I was often forced to play with kids significantly older than me, instead of kids my age because the kids my age were a lot smaller than me, I was never a bully, I HATE BULLIES, I actually used to bring bullies who were older and bigger than me back down to their size! I stood up for the smaller kids who couldn't, wouldn't, or were too afraid to stand up for themselves! The only 3 people that I was and am still afraid of are God, my Dad, and my Mom! If any of those 3 came and got in my face, I'd turn right around and run, and I was standing eye to eye with my Mom when I was 7, eye to eye with my Dad when I was 12, I was 6'1" and 200 lbs when I was 12 years old! My parents are in their mid 70's and to this day,,,,I'd still NEVER challenge God, OR THEM! The only thing I would do is BOW DOWN, PERIOD! You never get too big for God or your parents! Anyway, I NEED thos XMR 1,000 i. A 2 up version for my wife and I! Please Can-Am, make this an option, your brand has ALWAYS been #1 to me and I won't but anything else, and like I said in the above, I am sure that I am not alone! I AM certain that there is a profitable market for people that feel the way that I do! Peace ✌🏾! Thank you DIRT TRAX FOR THIS REVIEW! PLEASE HELP PEOPLE LIKE ME GET CAN-AM TO CONSIDER THIS! I REALLY WANT THIS MACHINE I A 2 UP VERSION! ❤✌🏾
We need to start encouraging OEMs to transition efforts into making vehicles lightweight. 101hp is cool but a ~900lb ATV is just goofy. If you’re really riding these machines on trails then trying to throw around 900lb between your legs is a difficult ask. Then again everyone just cares about drifting and going fast straight now anyways
Have you ridden one? I have, doesnt FEEL heavy at all. Lighter would be better getting it out of the mud, but as far as how it actually feels to ride, it feels lighter than the G2
People excited about the stance and the engine, but don't realize how poor the quality is on these machines. CVT is a joke and make them so stinking wide at the legs.
Who honest to god cares about a mud monster machine and sound dampening…. Its a offroad machine not a pavement luxury vehicle. Heat management is welcomed but sound dampening just made me laugh
The only company that seems to be listening to their customers, and it's clearly paying off.
With 101 hp and those narley tires I just hope they found a way to not snap axles like twigs. Definitely sweet machine
And some better belts too 😂
I wish the front bumper wrapped all the way around to protect the headlights from branches/trees. Still super cool though!
I have a feeling Canam would be more than happy to sell you one 😅
@@Wooskii1 I’m sure they would, but for $17,000 it should come on it

Thanks dirt Trax TV for great videos 🎉
Thanks for watching!!
Definitely the most rowdy out of the box machine you can get
Just watched yalls vid this morning, keep them coming.
Great breakdown! Cool machine.
That thing is sick ! Look even better if the winch was at same height but hidden behind the front facia and a reg front bumper ! 🔥👌

I'm a Yamaha Grizzly guy but I think I would change brands now
Your not a Yamaha grizzly guy if you change brands a true Yamaha guy wouldn't do that

Well I still own my 16 griz. It would be nice to see Yamaha stick some money into their quads. That's why other brands look so exciting

Agreed!
amazing beautiful vehicle! how much does this one cost?
It looks so tough 💪🏻💪🏻
I need to see it with the accessories
I think the new rad position of the xmr is in the mud zone and will accumulate mud more than the previous models.

This is a game-changer. But might need to add sassys. Not big lugs on the stocks.

Hello buddy how much did you pay for your?
@davidrodas257 I got mine for 20. But me and my father deal with our dealership allot so they give us a generous offer.
They haven't had a center mounted rear brake since gen 1. Gen 2 had a single rear caliper located on the right side.
I meant to say single rear brake. Its hard to keep all these specs straight when your getting so many of them all at once.
POWDER HANDLE 😂😂🎉
Why doesn’t it have bead locks on it?
How does the G3 1000R feel power wise compared to the G2? I have a 2022 1000 xtp and love it but wouldn't mind more power.

Can you ride this in deep snow
It would probably do pretty good in the snow. Just stay off snowmobile trails.
There was a group of mencaces on atvs who tore up our snowmobile trails in our neighborhood. So yes, keep them out!@@dirttraxtv
