Taras- thank you so much for doing these. Wal Mart is the only close place where my cub scouts family can buy camping gear and seeing your videos helps SO MUCH! Thank you!!!!
For the fires, the flint and steel does work. Its just that none of the fire starters are meant to be started via sparks. Find something lighter like milkweed
i actually run this loadout. i use so many of the same products. the shovel is actually quite nice. considering the price point these are great for cheap easy travel/car kits.
Those Mylar bags, even the very light one are absolute life savers!! They reflect 80% of your body heat back to yo, and feel like an electric blanket! they do tear easier, but scotch tape will fix!! I prefer the heavier one, has grommets in the corners, so can be used to make a tent or a lean to! Lots of goodies there!!!
Taras, Best video yet! Just when I think I've seen everything...BOOM...you come up with some new gadjiks! Keep the videos coming! I love everything you do. 👍❤
Emergency Bag? More like an emergency blanket with a little scotch tape on it. EDIT: Yeah, those are hexamine tablets. They aren't really meant to light up with sparks.
Those emergency blankets (aka "space blankets") were invented by NASA in 1964 for the space program. I first saw them in the early '70's when I was a Boy Scout. Amazing how those are still being made and used today.
The Mylar blankets are meant to reflect radiated heat from the fire. If you make a shelter and build a fire it keeps you very warm by reflecting the radiated heat. Coals have the most heat output.
Thank you for showing these items. That tube tent, do you think it could be used to hook to a tent for storing your gear outside the tent but by placing close enough to store your gear to free up room in your main tent? I am asking because of the ground protection and overhead also
Mr.Russian Hacker, you always make awesome videos. You keep it real, and such a positive person you are. Your videos always make my day, thank you...salutations to you my friend. BOOM.😎👍👍

Plastic blanket is so important. Even a summer rain, at high altitudes especially, can be very cold and unrelenting.
Ya, like on Everest...!
Taras should make a 3 day survival kit and survive in the wilderness for 3 days
actually with all of that it could be at least a week if everything works properly in the can
Minty Badger MAKE IT HAPPEN PLEEESSSSSEEE
And eat 2 hotdog a day

In Russia every day IS camping
Taras you're suppose to scrape the magnesium bar into a pile over top of the tinder then use the spark bar to light it, it works
The way he uses it drives me nuts 😂
Jopdsphone Nairnada I was thinking why is he sparking it more than two inches away from the fuel I personally hold them 1/2 maybe 2 inches away
@ 0:40, Gus howls after Taras wraps himself in aluminium.

But if you drop them in water...

you need backups.

You forgot a function at the last one, research if the tin isn't toxic and if you have fire, you can use it as a cooking pot 😉🥘🍳
I have had that exact lantern for 17 years, awesome for camp.
Do you ever have to replace the cloth "bulbs" or whatever they're called?

The metal match case works where the plastic crushes
