Also, you should put to test some real marine sealants, some of them work SOO well. There's one that literally like gets hard when it touches water. You're supposed to keep it in your boat for emergency hull breaks and it will get you to the dry docks without sinking.

I guess you need to apply enough glue so only when the glue fully fills the gap between the bricks could the "atmosphere pressure" push the brick together.
