On Cedevita 1L means 1 liter of prepared drink. Soup needs to be cooked for 10min. Pate needs to go on bread for best taste. First coffee is straight black coffee with no sugar, We use sugar and milk with it usually. Chocolate spread goes on bread as well.

The Uvin tea is very famous here in Croatia, you drink that when you have an UTI. You just make a bunch of it and drink as much of it as you can in one go, it really soothes the situation the more you pee it. I never came across that in any other country like, commercially available in stores which makes me think it's a Croatian patent or at least i think so.

A tip for the future, when you have such a big ration, you could just separate it and make a three meal situation throughout the day. Breakfast which includes coffee, lunch with those beans and ham and dinner. Other than that, thanks for trying our food.

During the Yugoslavian war (1991-1996) my father was in a Croatian army and he sent us back home some military food packages, and I can assure you most of these brands were in it (Podravka, Gavrilović, Eva, Kraš, Zvečevo and so on). But everything changes with time, so as MREs. Croatia is a beautiful country, coastline is just perfect, most beautiful in whole of Europe. And we do have some high quality stuff here, believe it or not. Italian food is awesome, there is no question about it, but Croatian have similar food and we have great many things Italian don't. That Lino (linolada) chocolade spread is far more tastier and far more natural than Nutella, and yet for Nutella is everyone heard, and for Linolada no one is :) Croatia is not some shithole most people would assume. Croats invented some stuff, like pen (Vladimir Slavoljub Penkala), like mens tie (kravata, croata), and greatest inventor of all time was from Croatia (Nikola Tesla). And I think there is a company from which you can buy food boxes (similar to MRE) of most world countries, check it out. Bye

    Another good review, Nathan.
I can buy Podravka pashtet/pâtés and soups at my local supermarket here in Australia. It is a Croatian company.
That Cedevita 9-vitamin lemon drink says on the front that it makes 1 litre.
You wouldn’t want that sensual coffee in a platoon of men. Not that there’s anything wrong with that!
That is a stonking amount of sugar and what I call “useless carbs”- i.e. white flour- when you add it all up. Even given that it’s for 24 hours!
    The sardines look really nice.
The uvin caj (tea) is made from bearberry, according to Mister Gurgle. It grows in higher altitudes in the US and Native Americans used it to make yellow dye.
No dang milk or creamer or sugar for your coffee or hot chocolate. I wonder how many guys carry around their own supplies?

P.S. - Loved your review, I was surprised you tried the Uvin tea without any honey or lemon juice in it(which is what we usually do to help the taste) and still gave it a pass, it's meant to remedy any urinary tract issues, very helpful. The Tuc crackers can be mixed with the pate, the jam, and the Linolada chocolate spread. Cedevita, the vitamin drink, you can just add more water to adjust the taste to your liking, I think it was too concentrated in that glass. Other than that, amazing review, I was surprised when I saw how much was packed in it and it made me happy. I enjoyed eating my meal while watching your video and am looking forward to more, cheers!

"Cedevita" vitamin drink should never be left to stay for the long time dissolved. Vitamins added, tend to disintegrate in common water solution , while stable as dry and separate. There is a carbon bicarbonate and citric acid added to absorb water in case of ingress. should be drank within a minute of dissolving.

If not then I have suspicion that this might be "fanmade" MRE from someones home in Croatia.
Then again I might be wrong but it is kinda strange to me to see a lot more food than in previous Croatian MRE I saw.

I was looking at this and it looks like everyone else came to the same conclusion? A regular military ration would have had an accessory pack, matches, a heater or something? Toilet paper? This looks like someone went and got things abd boxed them up? Interesting package, though?

To explain quickly Real Croat MRE uses all of this stuff that's in the box but in special containers(all this that he eats is basically store bought packing) and mostly not all together like here, I haven't been in croatia for a long time so i don't know how much has changed but probably not much. my uncle drives a van for the military and he used ti bring me MREs weekly. haven't had one for 5 to 6 years.
