That ax is good for cutting off the magnesium as long as you use the back part to shave it off. Never use the blade side of your knife or ax to start a fire with because you are dulling your tools. I love the water bottle from Wal-Mart and I would use it with my survival pack and it is compact too.
I get all my stuff from either wish or gearbest. Haven't had a problem with anything yet. Execpt the 100l backpack. Plastic buckle broke and stitching came apart. All of which I have fixed.
