Ok question I've got the same bike and it's say for 2 years outside the forks have always leaked is they anyway I can just put fluid back in instead of taking it apart? Cause it's lost all the fluid the forks are sitting all the way down and I'd like to just do it the stupid way if possible and just fill it back up with fluid if so please tell me how??? Thank you
@@bubba1160 if I'm not mistaken this is when I had to make the specialty tool. I can get you some specifics is a little bit. You basically get a piece of metal gas line and a bolt. You jam the bolt in the one side of the pipe. Then you slide that into the top of the fork and hold with a set of channel locks and then you should be able to remove the screw from the bottom. The savage forums might have that tool info. I remember it only cost me like $10 at home depot
chaotictruth hello, the fork seal inner diameter should be 38mm as the forks are 38mm. For exact specs on the fork seals dimensions all around, Google Suzuki savage fork seals and many of the posts will show the exact dimensions.
MetricMotorcycleMadness I found the measurements but in some places they say they are 38x50x8 others say are 38x50x8/9.5 and in other page i found 38x50x8/10.5 so i really dont know wich one to get

I believe the 8/9.5 and 8 dimension ones are actually the same and they just left the 9.5 off on some ads. the 9/10.5 I think might work with other suzukis but likely places like eBay are giving a similar but incorrect size. I'll check and get back to you. other thing you can do is check catalog from fork seal companies like k&l supply or all balls racing to verify for your year exact dimensions.

I agree: all that great knowledge and helpful hints, but I got sick watching the video.
So even under tension all the internals spin in my forks and i cant get the bolt out of the end. What should i do?
